~Lucy's P.O.V.~

We regrouped back at Seasons Village where Wendy, Jessie, and Angie were tending to the minor wounds we got. Now, I was sitting down on my bed, looking at my pink Fairy Tail mark. "Natsu, mitay mitay! I got my Fairy Tail mark!"

"Huh? Oh, good for you Luigi."

"IT'S LUCY!"

I smiled weakly at the memory. That was the start of all the adventures I had with Natsu, and I don't regret any one of them. "You alright Lucy?" I jumped a bit and looked up to see Jessie frowning at me.

"A-ah, gomen," I apologized and smiled weakly. "I'm fine." She sadly smiled back at me and nodded.

"Okay, well, I just wanted to tell you that I'm going to announce something in a couple seconds. I think you might want to come hear as well." I nodded.

"Sure," I smiled weakly and stood up.

"I'm going to have to go back guys," Jessie sighed, rubbing her left arm.

"EHH?!" everyone, including me, yelled out in surprise.

"B-but why?" I asked.

"Well, Master has asked me about Natsu's....condition." I slightly flinched at the mention of him, but allowed her to continue. "So, I was going to tell him and perhaps get some feedback from him." I was about to protest, thinking that we shouldn't let the whole guild get involved with this, but Erza stopped me.

"You may go Jessie," she said in a calm tone. My eyes widened and I glanced over at Gray, who nodded in agreement. "You may go tell him, but make sure you do not tell the whole guild okay?" Jessie nodded.

"You have my word."

After a couple minutes of light packing, Jessie was at the entrance of Angie's home.

"Have a safe journey okay Jessie-san?" Angie reminded with a weak smile. Jessie smiled back and nodded. She then turned to me.

"Hey, be careful okay?" she said to me.

"Careful of what?" I frowned. She looked at me with serious eyes.

"You know what."

"It doesn't matter how he looks or if he is under a spell," I said in a dead serious tone. "He's still Natsu." Jessie smiled weakly.

"I know he is, just be careful okay?" Jessie asked softly. I nodded and grinned.

"Okay, now that we're done with all the reminders, let's get going!" Lexi urged, pushing Jessie from the entrance.

"Alright alright, sheesh!" Jessie huffed. "Bye minna, you guys all better come back with that dense idiot okay?"

"Aye sir!" Gray, Erza, Wendy, Carla, Happy, and I all said in unison. Angie just looked at us weirdly, not sure what that meant, but we all did. Jessie turned around and walked away, and we watched her until she was nothing but a speck in the distance.

"So..what now?" Gray sweatdropped.

"I guess we go look for Natsu-san again," Wendy suggested in a quiet tone. Everyone nodded.

"I have some things that might be useful for you," Angie shyly spoke up.

"Anything that you might have would be great Angie-san," I grinned. She grinned back and went back into her home, us 5 following her.

~Timeskip-2 hours later~

I clipped my keys to my belt and sighed to myself. I don't have my fleuve d'etoiles anymore because... I shook my head. That doesn't matter compared to getting Natsu back, I told myself.

All of a sudden, the ground started rumbling. "Lucy!" I looked over to see Gray panting. He had gone out to get some fresh air a couple minutes ago.

"What's happening?" I asked, running over to him.

"I think you should see it yourself," he panted. I frowned, but nodded and ran outside. There, Erza was scowling at something in the air. Angie had her hands cupped over her mouth in shock and Happy, Carla, and Wendy were all looking up in pure fear. I looked up and my eyes widened.

"Ah, hello humans," a man with black and blood red red smirked at us.

Kurai.

Huge black draconian wings were on his back and right next to him was..

"Natsu," I whispered. His salmon hair was covering his eyes and he had on an emotionless expression. There was something different about him see when I had fought him, but I didn't know what.

"Now then," Kurai smirked. He waved moved his arm, and almost immediately hundreds of the shadow creatures appeared out of nowhere. Erza requipped into her Heavenly Body Armor and Gray cupped his hands together. Wendy stood in a battle stance as well while Happy and Carla stood protectively in front of Angie. "Natsu?" Kurai turned over to Natsu. Natsu looked up at the sound of his name and his head tilted up. My eyes contracted in fear. His eyes were a deep black, looking as if it sucked all light. It was even darker than his normal obsidian shade. Oh Natsu... Kurai looked at me with a face of disgust. "Complete your mission son," Kurai commanded. I scowled. He had no right to call him son! Natsu locked his black eyes on me and suddenly lunged for me. I yelped as I got pushed to the ground. I dragged a couple feet, impacting a house's wall.

"Lucy!" Everyone yelled my name.
