~Natsu's P.O.V.~

I slid down one of the black walls of my room. It was basically empty and there were no other colors, just black. It was a temporary room, since Father had destroyed the castle. I put one hand to my pounding head. What the hell had happened to me back there? No, better question: do I even know the answer to all those questions? Igneel, I know that name for some reason... Also, why is my mission to kill Lucy Heartfilia? Fairy Tail? Igneel? Lucy?! Ugh, it's all so fuzzy!

"Luce.." that name escaped my lips. I just felt her teardrop fall to my chest and that was what I uttered. It was like I had remembered everything at that moment, but now..

"Natsu." Almost as if on command, I stood up.

"Yes Father?" I responded without thinking.

"Did you complete your mission?" he asked. I frowned. He knew the answer, so why ask?

"No, I did not," I muttered. He sighed and rubbed his temples.

"That girl is getting to him.." he said under his breath, but I picked it up.

"What?" I said. "D-does she know me?" Father's blood red eyes widened.

"No, no you do not," he said, his tone unusually hypnotic. The pounding in my head started to fade and I could feel my head getting hazy again, but this time I fought back.

"No, I obviously know this girl!" I yelled, my fists getting hotter with rage. "You are not telling me something! Maybe, maybe....you're the enemy!" At that point my hands ignited on fire and I lunged for that man. He sighed, not fazed.

"I didn't want to do this, but.." He held his hands out and I suddenly stopped. I clutched my head in pain as a persistent ringing started echoing throughout my head. Father came closer and pressed his fingertips on my forehead. I yelled out in pain. It felt as if my skull was going to split into two and I was physically drowning in darkness.

"Sorry son, but you brought this onto yourself.." he said before everything went pitch black.
