Sorry for updating, all that stuff, but hey, here's a new chappy! :D

~Natsu's P.O.V.~

        "Sayonara Lucy Heartfilia," I said, ready to kill her once and for all.  As I led the knife all the way down towards her chest, a sudden explosion caused me to stop, right before it could touch her big chest.  I scowled.  Seriously?!  I was just about to finish the job!

        "LUCY!!" I turned my head away from the girl to see her friends by the door.

        "Natsu, what are you doing?!" a girl with long black hair screamed at me.  I scowled and turned back to Lucy Heartfilia to finish the job.  I lunged again, but this time, ice came out of nowhere and gripped my wrist.

        "NATSU THE HELL YOU DOING TO LUCY!!" a man with raven hair yelled at me.  My scowl got even deeper.

        "Do not INTERFERE!" I yelled, sending a wave of fire to them.  They managed to avoid it, but that didn't matter right now.  I turned back to the girl, but she had regained some of her strength and pushed me off of her, making me slam into the wall.  I growled, getting even angrier.  A girl with red hair lunged towards me with her sword, but I clashed it with my bare arm, which was now covered in dark red scales.

        "Natsu, snap out of it!" the red head growled.

        "My mission is to kill Lucy Heartfilia, and I must complete my mission," I hissed, and made my other hand burn with fire.  "FIRE DRAGON'S CRUSHING FIST!"  I swung my fist, but she jumped out of the way.

        "Natsu!  That's enough for now!"

        "What?" I growled.  "But Father, I can take on these people!"

        "My order is to retreat for now Natsu!"  I scowled.

        "Fine!"  I looked back to the group of people.  The raven haired had Lucy Heartfilia in his arms.  They were all looking at me with either anger or sadness, but I didn't care.  I just stared right at my prey's eyes.  "This isn't over!" I snarled to her before a tornado of darkness sent by Father swirled around me and swept me away.

~Lucy's P.O.V.~

        I watched Natsu get cloaked by darkness.  "Natsu..." I whispered.  When the fog disappeared, Natsu was gone.

        "NATSUUU!!" Happy cried, but Jessie held him in her arms to stop him from running after him.

        "You okay Lucy?" Jessie asked worryingly while holding a sobbing Happy.

        "Do you need me to heal you?" Wendy asked, getting ready.

        "N-no, I'm fine," I waved off.  "Just...shaken."

        "What happened?" Carla asked.

        "I don't know...we went into the kitchen to get some food for him and the next thing I know he lunged at me with a knife.."  I said slowly.

        "Where are your keys then?" Erza asked.  My eyes widened.  I forgot, my keys!  I got out of Gray's grip and reached for my keys from under the countertop.  When I could feel its cool touch, I gripped it and held it close to my chest.  Thank goodness they're safe..

        "You should get some rest Lucy-san.." Wendy insisted.  I wiped the small tears forming in my eyes and shook my head.

        "I'm fine," I said and turned around to my friends.  That's right, I still have a promise to keep.  A promise that was asked only to me.  "We need to find Natsu, now," I said, my eyes burning with determination.

        "But Lucy, are you sure you're okay?" this time it was Gray who asked.  I nodded.

        "I'll be fine, trust me," I insisted.

        "B-but how are w-we going to fine h-him?" Happy hiccuped between his sobs.

        "I can smell him out," Jessie spoke up.

        "Don't we need some kind of plan before we confront him though?" Carla said.

        "I agree, we shouldn't just charge over there," Erza nodded.

        "I have a plan, don't worry," I grinned.  Everyone looked at me with wide eyes.  "Hey, I can make plans too!" I huffed.

        "I for one will go with your plan," Jessie said, standing beside me.  I smiled.

        "Me too!" Wendy said, standing on the other side of me.

        "Let's hear this plan of yours," Erza said with a warm smile.

        "Tch, as long as I get to do something, count me in," Gray smirked.

        "Minna..." I whispered.  That's right, I'm not alone.  I may be the only one to save Natsu somehow, but I don't have to do it alone.

        "Yosh, here's the plan.." I said and started to explain it.
