(Timeskip-a couple hours later)

~Lucy's P.O.V.~

        After we absorbed all the information Angie had told us, Gray put her to bed to let her rest.  Erza and Jessie told us that we should get some sleep too, for the day ahead of us.  They insisted that I sleep too, but I wanted to watch over Natsu.  After a couple minutes of arguing, they finally gave up and let me.  Now, I'm sitting on Natsu's bed, stroking his soft pink hair.  Suddenly in the silence of the night, I heard him softly whimper.  I turned to the other side to see his face.  He was sweating and his face was scrunched up in pain.  Almost immediately I was worried.  "Natsu?  Are you alright??" I loudly whisper, having false hope that everything was okay.  I knew it wasn't, I just knew.  Why?  Because even I could feel the intense dark magic coming from Natsu.

~(In Natsu's dream)~

~Natsu's P.O.V.~

        Dark.  Everything was pitch black.  I don't even know where I am.  All I know was that everything around was me was dark.  "Where am I?!" I yelled into the darkness.

        "In pure darkness," a voice whispered.  I flipped around, looking for the source of that voice.

        "Who are you?!" I yelled, slight fear in my tone.  Just then a man with messy black hair and pale skin appeared from the darkness.  He was wearing a black dress suit over a gray shirt, black dress pants, and polished black shoes. His eyes were a deep crimson red and his teeth were almost vampire-like.

        "The name's Kurai Natsu," he replied in a calm voice.

        "H-how do you know me?" I stuttered, still quite scared.

        "Well, I'm your father," he chuckled.  I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.  He didn't look anything like me, or atleast, I didn't think so.

        "You don't look like me," I said suspiciously, taking a step back from him.

        "And do you remember what you look like?" Kurai raised an eyebrow.  My eyes widened in surprise.

        "H-how did you know that I lost my memories?" I asked.  Again, he chuckled.

        "Well, there isn't a lot of things I don't know son.." he answered.

        "D-don't call me son!" I yelled, throwing a ball of fire at him, but it went right through him.

        "Tsk tsk," Kurai said, wagging his finger.  I was getting more scared by the minute.  Who was this person?  Is he really my father?  "Don't be scared, Natsu," he said in a soothing tone.  He slowly inched closer to me, and I kept walking backwards away from him.  Unfortunately, I was stopped, probably hitting a wall, but it's hard to tell because everything looked like it could go on forever.  When Kurai was just a couple feet from me, he outstretched his hand.  "Join me, Natsu," he pleaded.  "Join me on the Dark Side."  The Dark Side?  What was that?  Maybe I should if he's really my father...  "Join me, son," he said in a soothing tone.  I hesitantly raised my hand.  He does know me, so maybe he could tell me more about myself...

        Lucy!  A picture of Lucy flashed in my mind.  What side was she on?  Probably not the Dark Side because she looked just like an angel.  Well, I want to join whatever side Lucy's on!

        "I won't join the Dark Side!" I growled, pulling my hand away from his.  Kurai scowled.

        "But why not?  Together, we can do unimaginable things!" he insisted, but his soothing tone was laced with anger.

        "I don't care what we can do!" I spat back.  "I trust Lucy more than you, and I rather join Lucy's side than yours!"  Kurai let out an angry growl, and shadows bursted out of the darkness and surrounded him.  However, as soon as it appeared, it vanished.  I saw Kurai take a deep breath.

        "That Lucy girl has given you too much light, so you know what?  Fine!  I'm done trying to be nice!" he snarled, his sharp vampire teeth showing.  I tried to move, but my body wouldn't listen to me!

        "The hell?" I said, trying my hardest to move.

        "I took away your ability to move," Kurai explained.  He reached into his suit and pulled out a golden pocket watch attached to a silver chain.  He then swung it back and forth.  It took me a couple minutes before I realized that he was trying to hypnotize me!  "You can only see this pocket watch and it only," Kurai said in a very calm hypnotic voice.  I struggled to look away, but I couldn't.  My eyes were forcefully locked onto the watch swinging back and forth.  My mind felt like it was melting into mush, but I still could think and maybe move my lips.  "You've been very tired these days haven't you?  Do you remember those moments?"

        "N-no.." I murmured, trying to look away from him, or at the very least, close my eyes!

        "Think harder, back to those moments where sleep was the best thing you could do," Kurai said in the same hypnotic tone.  "Relive that feeling."  Suddenly the feeling of my head being rested on a shoulder and I felt myself being cuddled with warmth.  I soon felt very sleepy.  No!  Don't feel sleepy!  Stop thinking about it!  Think about..Lucy!  I yelled in my mind, but it wouldn't listen.  "Now, the only thing you can hear is my voice, and mine only."  Don't listen to him!  Don't...  Suddenly my mind became blank.  What was I thinking about?  Hmm...maybe it wasn't important.  Listening to Kurai's voice seemed very important though...  "Are you listening to me only?" Kurai asked softly.

        "Yes.." I whispered.  "I can only hear your voice.."

        "Good.  Now, when you understand, repeat what I said, okay?" Kurai asked.

        "Repeat what you say..." I answered.

        "Okay.  Now, you will address me by "Father" got it?"

        "I will address you by "Father".." I repeated calmly, my eyes still following the pocket watch.

        "You will obey my every commands."

        "I will obey your every commands.."

        "You have one very important mission."

        "I have one very important mission.."

        "And that is to kill Lucy Heartfilia!"

        "And.."  I couldn't finish that sentence.

        "And that is to kill Lucy Heartfilia!!" Father said louder.

        "A-and that is to k-kill..."  I still couldn't finish that sentence.  Why?  Did that name....mean something?  Suddenly Father came right up to me and put the pocket watch right in my face, making my thoughts disappear.

        "And that is to kill Lucy Heartfilia..." Father hissed.

        "A-and that is to kill....Lucy Heartfilia.." I repeated.

        "Good my son," Father smirked, and put his watch away.  "Now, wake up, and fulfill your mission."  Suddenly I could move my body again, so I bowed.

        "Yes Father," I obliged.  Father nodded, and disappeared, leaving me alone in the darkness.  An evil smirk was painted on my lips.  I will kill you, Lucy Heartfilia...
