As Astrid opened her eyes, she sees that she's in her bedroom. She panicked, she wanted to go back to that magical world.

"No no no... I wasn't done Why isn't it working!" Astrid said in a frustrated tone as she pushes the button on the bracelet and said the password multiple times to see if it would work.

When it didn't, she sighed and laid on her bed when she noticed that the friendship ring Ingrid gave her is still there. She smiled and admired it. 

Her aunt returns to her room after taking care of some things Astrid thinks if her aunt is waiting for her since she don't know how long she was in Arkania.

"Aunt Elaine? How long was I gone?" She asked, her aunt looks at her in confusion and laughs. "What do you mean? Did you go somewhere? You just have been in this room for a five minutes."

Astrid is surprised to learn that she was only away for few minutes. Looking down at her new friendship ring, Astrid feels more optimistic about her time at here and to her new school.

"In this school you're gonna meet a lot of nice people." Elaine said.

"Yeah, I'm sure I will." Astrid said sarcastically.

"You will. Now I'm gonna go see if I can find the principal's office okay, you wait for me here I'll be right back."

Astrid goes and sit on a nearby bench and waited for her aunt. She plays with her ring to ease up her anxiety. It's not really comforting to move into a new school again. Meeting new people isn't her forte.

As Astrid looks around her surroundings, she saw some girls teasing some boy nearby. Suddenly one of the girls gets the notebook the boy was holding and throws it near her.

Astrid gets the notebook while the boy and the mean girls go to her.

"Who's this now and why is she dressed for a funeral." The first girl snickered. "Oh yeah! All Saints Day was months ago." The second one added.

The first girl was going to grab the book, but Astrid looked away from the girls and gave the notebook to the boy. "Thank you for picking up the book miss." The boy said to Astrid.

The other girls rolled their eyes and as Astrid is going to tell her name, her aunt cuts her off. "Come on honey the headmistress is waiting for you."

Astrid sighs, he look at the boy apologetically and follows her aunt to the head office. Leaving the boy clutching his notebook and the mean girls crossing their arms and walking away.
