When: June 14 & 21

Written: June 22 - July 7 (I know, long, but I was on holiday.)

So on the 14th, we had Athletic and Option Awards. I obviously didn't get those, but my best friend did get an Art award. Maybe next year I can get the Drama or Tech award.

On the 21st we had our Academic Awards! Now, I did win stuff there. 

I got a Citizenship Award, basically, the people in your grade nominate people who they think are hard workers, good at their work, and such. I didn't expect the citizenship award, I thought that my best friends would, and it turned out that me, one of my best friends, and one of the smartest boys in my class got it. I can't exactly remember who else got it in the other classes, but that's cause there are 3 classes per grade and these awards are for gr. 6 - gr. 8.

I also got Honours With Distinction, basically, it's your overall mark, if it is 80% - 89% you get Honours, but if it is above 90% then you get Honours with Distinction. The thing that made it hard was that it was your overall, it included term 1, 2, and 3, plus the final exams. Only 3 people got it in my class, obviously the smartest boy, me and one of my many best friends.

My overall mark was:   92.3801111111% 

For my exams, my overall mark was:  89.9092%

My best exam mark was in Math crazily and worst was in LA, sadly. I thought my marks were going to go in this order(best to worst): LA, French, Science, Math then Social Studies. Wow, what a flip!

Happily, I accepted these, and no I didn't boast, although I did love to joke around with my friends. I liked to tease them, they like to tease me, but we all know that none of us were trying to make each other feel bad, we love each other, and we wouldn't try to hurt that.

We then got our report cards and schools over for the year! Now to get ready for next year.
