He lounged himself at me, I felt me head go back hitting against the hard cemented floor. I looked up as I see anger in his face and I soon felt his fist collide against my face. I tried to get him off me but he was on top of me and he was very heavy.

"JAMES STOP GET OFF HIM!" Elizabeth tried to grab my arm but James shoved her away, still managing to keep me below him.

"You have no part in this! After this, you and I are gonna have a talk"

I manage to get my arm out from under his grasp and punched him across the face as hard as I could. He wiped his face and glared at me.

"Oh so girly girl wants to fight back now doesn't she? Fine I'll give you a taste of how a real man punches."

I saw his fist lift up and punch me in the nose. I could feel blood dripping down as the now crowd surrounding us did nothing.

"Someone please call security don't just watch!" Some left, some stayed and kept recording what was happening. Watching like this was entertainment to them. I felt a blow to my stomach as I felt his knee collide with it.

I felt relief and a pair of arms grab me as James was pulled back by 3 security guards.

"Sir we need you to calm down and stop resisting." James was struggling to get out of their grasps, anger in his eyes.

"Alex, can you hear me?" I looked up slowly, my vision slightly blurry. I see Elizabeth looking down at me, worry in her eyes.

"Elizabeth! Get over here and help me with these dudes!"

"Sir, shut up you have no right to speak this moment!"

I see anger in Elizabeths eyes as she looks up at him.

"You can't tell me what to do James, we are thru! Stay out of my life!"

I felt someone pick me up, I agonized in pain as it went thru my body.

"Can I come with him?" Elizabeth asked as I felt her hold my hand.

"Yes, we will need you to explain what happened and will put a restraining order on that boy."

I couldn't keep my head from feeling dizzy, I let my eyes shut, I was so tired.

-A Few Hours Later-

I felt my arm being shaked, it woke me up slightly. I decided it was nothing and tried to fall back to sleep but then I felt it again.

"Bro! Please wake up, please!!!"

I turn my head seeing Sofie holding my arm, tears in her eyes.

"It's to early, go back to bed Sofie."

She hugged my arm

"Alex, mommy and daddy are here. They got a call from the mall to speak to them about the accident."

Oh fuck I forgot about that, well it explains the pain flowing thru my body.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just still tired."

The sound of a door opening made my sister run towards the person and hug them.

"Oh! Hi there little one, what are you doing here?"

"The police man said you tried to help keep my big brother safe. Thank you!"

A giggle emerged from her lips as she picked my sis up,"Well it's no problem but how about we focus on your brother ok."

"Are you two dating?" Sofie said a smile on her face.

I felt heat rise to my face as I turned my body away from them.

"No hunny, he's my best friend."

"That's what they say in movies! Then they date, get married and live happily ever after!"

Sofie, I swear to notch I'm gonna take your night light and have you sleep with the boogy man you say is in your closet.

"So Alex, you feeling any better?"

"Besides the tissue up my nose, other black eye and my back feeling on fire. I feel great, thank you for asking"

Silence

"Other Black eye?"

Well fuck me, that was a fuck up.

"Alex, has he hurt you before?" I kept quiet, not feeling to comfortable with that question. I was never physically hurt, I would understand if it's emotional. Before we moved, I was made fun of because of what I liked but they never actually physically hurted me. I was surprised as I felt a hand touch my shoulder.

"Alex, I'm sorry about him. He was actually a nice person when we were little. He cared about everyone, I don't know why he is acting this way but I promise I won't let him lay a finger on you. Even if it kills me." I grabbed her hand and turned around to face her. She held my little sister in her hand, she still had a few years in her eyes.

"I don't like it when people say cheesy stuff," I chuckled as I felt a smile break thru my lips," but thank you anyway Elizabeth." She smiles back.

"No problem"
