"Noooooo, big bro stay with me! I thought we'd have class together?"

"Heh Sofie Im older so you have to stay with kids your age, but if you behave when I come to pick you up I'll give you a piece of candy when we get homeee"

Her eyes widen with excitement as she jumped up and down, squealing.

"Yay! You promise?"

"Have I ever lied to you?"

"Yes when you told me you'd give me ice cream for dinner."

"Yeah well I can't spoil you all the time yah know. Now get to class I'll come pick you up later love yah."

"Bye Big Bro!" I waved goodbye walking to the building close by ready for school.

As I walked I sighed, thinking of how I would deal with school. Moving to a diffrent state doesn't help the fact that they teach diffrently here.

I walk up to the school doors hearing shouting from inside.

"Well maybe this will be enjoyable." I take a deep breath, opening the door to see kids talking in the hallway, earbuds in ears and using their cellphones.

I slowly closed the door behind me walking towards security standing near some stairs.

"Exuse me sir?" He turned around to face me, seeming displeased from being distrubed.

"What can I help you with kid?"

"Uh, do you know where the office if by any chance?"

"No I don't, if course I do! I work here," he huffed loudly as he pointed down a hallway," Go straight down there and use the last door to the left."

"Thank you sir."

I quickly walk away towards the room, I reached my hand to the doorknob, twisting it, and walked into the room.

I walk over to the counter seeing a lady on the computer, she had a brownish white hair as she wore a flower patterned shirt.

"Oh why hello there young man, how can I help you?"

"Hello, I'd like to have my class schedule please." She smilied as she typed something on her computer and faced me again.

"Name?"

"Alex Meyer, I'm suppose to be a junior this year."

"Alex Meyer... ah yes here we are. Your home room is 3103, they will have your schedule up there. Just go upstairs and turn right at the lockers."

"Thank you"

-Time Skip-

"Hello class I am Dr.Jenson and I will be your biology teacher for this year. Today we have a new student here with us, so I want you all to make him feel welcomed. Tell us a little about yourself my boy!"

I looked over the class, seeing not much of them paying attention and those who were gave me a strange look.

"Hello there, I'm Alex. I just moved here from Louisiana and  I hope some of can become acquaintances? I guess."

Silence

"Thank you Alex, you can sit behind James in the back. James raise your hand please."

I look at the boy who raises his arm up, I'm guessing he is a jock from his muscle and what seems to be the basketball jacket.

I walk over to the desk behind him placing my bag on my lap, yanking out my notebook and pencil.

As I placed my pencil on my desk, James takes it and doesn't even take a glance at me.

"Exuse me that's my pencil, I need it back please."

"Did you just talk to me?" He faces me picking his tooth with my pencil. Disgusting.

"Listem here boy, this is my school. I run the place so you are jot allowed to speak to me unless spoken too. Got it?"

"Technically you aren't in charge since you are only still a studemt so y-" I feel the pencil be flicked on my forehead, it stinged as I rubbed it.

"Ow that hurted!"

"Alex quiet please, pay attention to the lesson."

I sigh glacing at James as he continues using MY pencil for the lesson plan.

"Yes sir..."
