So I finally finished the work for my Stars fan fusion. (I actually did it earlier but Ahahahahahahaha procrastination)

So it'll be a little different because I'll take you through some of the steps. (Just in case you're curious, I don't reveal everything but you can just get the gist of it)

Ahhh alright so the first one is actually my fan version. What I think and wouldn't mind happening if Steven and Lars fused. (Keep In Mind that ALL 3 ((yes there's three)) versions are not in Steven Universe style.((sorry)) not sorry)

So I of course had use references, I used both a basic Steven Universe and Lars character reference. 

I stayed true to the Lars Mohawk but decided to adjust it with a touch of the curly haired Steven we all know and love.

After I pretty much sketched out my basic outline I went back over it drawing multiple layers of different clothing.

I did 3 layers for the hair alone 2 of which were colored in transparent color, 2 layers for the shirt design and good good don't even get me started on the shirt.

The rips in the pants are another 3 individual layer but I got lazy and instead of drawing the same rip I duplicated, flip and shrunk the rips placing them in different areas. (Ahahahahahahaha procrastination amma right 😅😅)

I even fused the shoes. Ahaha not my best work. The shoes are the typical Steven flip flops but with the thickness and ankle support of lars's snickers.

I drew rose's shield in the back, it's not very original but I really couldn't think of a weapon that they two of them would possess I mean Lars is a good cook but what is that going to do. I'm pretty sure they can't flambeau there way out of homeworld.

Anyways

I put contrasting colors in the back and some roses to represent Steven and rose and of course stars....

( 😑 if I never see another star in my life it'll have been to soon)

MOVING ON...

This is the Steven X Lars "Stars" version where Steven is more...dominate...

I didn't take any step by steps for this one...it was just a really simple picture in opinion.  I only had to use like 3 layers to compared to the 30 or so I usually use. Ahahahahahahaha

I didn't want to use the brown typical though I'm sure the brown is a more cannon color. I wanted to be a bit out there with the rose colored Mohawk again with the fluffy to represent Steven. As shown he's more soft and compassionate vs Lars who's....well Lars.

The blue star is because if you noticed in the episode the episode before this Steven bomb drops on us. Lars is still on the ship and he's wearing a dark blue shirt. I just took the color from his shirt and ahaha added to Stevens original pink shirt.

It's not secret that clothes obviously don't fuse that much. Compared to the Stevonnie fusion. The only thing that happened with the clothes is that theirs shirt became alittle tighter and shorter and so did there pants..but that's it. I'm pretty sure that won't happen with Steven and Lars so i just decided to merge the colors uhhh

He's not saying anything in particular I just thought the diamonds with inverters color would be a good touch for the motion that I have him doing. At first it was a heart but I figured what the hell lets suffer some more and addd yup you guessed it a  star. ⭐️

And that's the dominant Steven "Stars"

AND FINALLY....

This was my favorite to draw actually.

Skip all the boring crap. This dominate Lars "Stars" design is based off a demi-God (or maybe he's a god, in not entirely sure) anyways I thought this is perfect. With Stevens confidence and Lars...well...lars.. it just seems more likely.  Now for this obviously I did two both shirt on and shirt off version. And you guessed it (DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF ALREADY TO HIGH LAYERS!) so aside from taking 2 minutes daily to scroll through layers for the appropriate one I need to edit. I actually got straight into it. Instead of doing the typical Mohawk I decided. Why not dreads...

I've always invisioned grown up Steven with dreads for the simple fact that rose's hair is long and curly and resembles dreads. I mean. It'd make more since then just curly hair right? Well apparently I'm wrong because the cannon adult Steven features curly hair Steven. Anyways..

This version features 3 eyes and a smug but confident look of I'm not afraid to take you through there. Now....I had to think of hair color and of course I got lazy...

So I did a transparent of roses hair color added a really nice color I got from a fan art of Lars (credit to the artist whoever he/she maybe) the only reason I did shirtless was because.........(are you seeing what I'm seeing, look at the body how could I not,) I wanted to show off the Quartz gem. Now aside from the hair which took way to many freaking layers for my comfort. I had to deal with the decision of skin color.

Originally he was a very tanned....like...idk what I was thinking he was like almost orange...Ahahahahahahaha 😅

Anyways I added a 3rd color to the hair which is Lars original hair color...well his original hair color from the pilot episode was black I think but I'm talking first season Lars. I added that. Which in my opinion pulled it together nicely.

Threw a better skin tone in the mix, (which I created by accident but hahaha it all worked out) through on an accurate shade for the gem (which I mean..just..no the layer alone was hell...don't even get me started on how I ended up coloring the gem on the same layer as the skin tone screwing everything up when I erased it was just ughhh just. Just no not even) and boom I was done

Well actually....

I just went over onto my second one. This one was originally going to be shirtless to (and god forbid it took all my strength to put a shirt on this amount of....god damn it I just...agslsfaldvsls IT WAS SO FREAKING HARD...like ugh the torture) anyways it was pretty much the same thing as the first

Drew clothes and finished the layers of the hair, the design on the shirt was an especially a pain simply because of the freaking perspective alone. Since the body was tilted the design had to be tilted or else it wouldn't look....believable.

and skin color a second eye and flip the drawing around and boom. (Also wacky backgrounds because I just got into backgrounds and hahaha procrastination and hahahahaha get off my back ok 😂😂😅😅)

I didn't color the eyes because...I'm just lazy...I'm a horrible human being I know

And if even one of my designs or even a part of my designs become a little cannon please tell me. I'll be like SUPER STOKED.

And uhhh yeah....
