Due to us not being able to go to Greed Island the school decided to put the trip money to good use after the storms we went through.

They brought a carnival to us.

The shuttle had to take us seniors since it was a few miles away from the school. While most were excited, others were scared, ahem Mahogany.

Mahogany: What if they have a clown? I'll die.

She's terrified of clowns, she went to the circus once when she was younger and it didn't end well.

Kihyun: I'll protect you.
Me: And who's going to protect you.

Changkyun chuckles while shaking his head.

Jooheon: I just want a snow cone.
Changkyun: Those things are gross.
Kihyun: No, cotton candy is gross.

Me: I want a hot dog.

It's true I'm starving, I woke up late so I didn't have time to eat breakfast. In my defense Changkyun decided to come over and there was no sleeping once so ever.

The amount of money Hul donated was generous, but I didn't expect the carnival to look this good.

Jooheon: How the fuck did they pull a Ferris wheel out here?

Mahogany screams.

Mahogany: A clown tent!

As soon as we're off the bus I search for food. My stomach growls making Changkyun raise an eyebrow.

Changkyun: Hungry?
Me: Starving!

Once we find a hotdog stand I get the works. Chili, relish, onions, everything! He watches in horror as I scarf down my food.

Me: This is what you signed up for when you decided to date me.

He smiles before wiping my face with a napkin.

Changkyun: Even with food on your face you're still beautiful.
Me: What do you want to do first?
Changkyun: We can play some of those rigged games.
Me: Then I can win a goldfish that'll die in two days.

Carnivals are cute but let's be honest, they're flawed.

While walking around we see Violet and her friends. We make eye contact and she gives me a small smile, I return it. What surprises me is Hyungwon and some girl I never seen hand in hand laughing.

I'm glad he found someone worth his efforts.

Changkyun: Our first destination after graduation is Japan, are you ready?

Traveling to new places, eating new food, learning about new cultures, while being with someone I care about deeply?

Me: Hell yeah I'm ready!

After school Kihyun and I came home to our cousins raiding our fridge. Wonho has a piece of shrimp hanging out his mouth, while Shownu eats a bowl of cereal.

Shownu: How was school?
Me: Good, hows classes?

Wonho shrugs.

Wonho: If I pretend I'm not failing then I'm not.
Shownu: That's not how it works.
Wonho: I rebuke your negativity.

After two hotdogs, nachos, two tacos in a bag, and a shit ton of kettle corn I should be full; but I'm not so i start to eat captain crunch with Shownu.

Wonho: We stopped by to give you two an early graduation gift.
Kihyun: What is it? I'm curious.

They give us both envelopes.

Me: Holy shit!
Kihyun: Where did you two get this kind of money? Your college students!

They chuckle.

Shownu: Both our jobs pay well, plus a little birdie told me about your traveling plans Bri.

A little birdie is code for my mom.

Wonho: You'll definitely need all the money you can get. Kihyun whatever you spend yours on is up to you, we're just proud of you two.

I hug the two boys, thanking them over and over.
