I stood out in the opening for a few minutes. Waiting patiently for Yami to get out of his classroom so that we can walk home together. Tomorrow is Valentine Day. Meaning that almost everyone in Domino City is going to be filled with couples having dates and shopping to their loving content.

Boring. This is just a waste of time.

"Hey Yugi! You ready?"

Yami finally appeared before me. Showing me his bright smile from escaping the hell hole of Mrs. Cruel.

I smirk.

"Of course! How's math?"

Yami groaned and moved his hand over his eyes before complaining, "Why do you have to bring up the worst subject of my blissful moment when I'm about to offer a good deal with you?"

"Deal?"

This caught my attention.

"What deal?"

Yami smirked back at me before walking off.

"Not telling you."

"Ehhh!!!??? Why?! Yami!"

Yami POV

'I can't believe this.'

~STARE~

Both Yugi and I are apparently sitting on the floor of my room. In silent. We stare at each other before Yugi broke it.

"Tell me the deal or you will not expect me to leave this room and instead find yourself hanging off 3 feet from the ceiling."

"You're crazy."

"I know."

"You're weird."

"I love it."

"But I guess that's how I fall in love with you."

"Yeah....wait, what?"

I stood up, grabbed Yugi by the arm, before hugging him.

Yugi squeak and tries to get out of my grasp. Blushing at the close embrace.

"Yami?"

"Please go out with me."

"Y-Yami? Why?"

I turn his head so that I can look straight into his eyes. He seem to be in a loving trance as my crimson eyes looking deeply into his beautiful amethyst eyes.

"I'm starting to have feelings for you for a long time now. I'm sorry for telling you this so sudden, but."

I stroke his cheek lovingly, while sadly smiling down at him.

"I just couldn't wait any longer. I'm sorry."

"You don't have to apologize, Yami. But-"

Yugi pushed me away and looked directly at something else other than me.

"I'm not sure if I have feelings for you."

"I know. That's why I'm suggesting this deal."

"What?"

I shush him before explaining.

"Here's the deal. Since you are known as the 'King of Game', I challenge you to a duel."

"B-B-But why!?"

"Listen. As the 'King of Game' whoever he challenged must accept or lose their title by default if he refuses to fight them. What I'm trying to say that if I win we go out to one date. "

"And if you lose?"

"Then we'll never speak of this ever again and forget everything that we have said and done in this room."

Yugi stayed silent. Debating if he should accept it or not.

"Yugi?"

"Alright."

Yugi began walking up to my closet, before taking out two duel disk for me and himself.

"I accept your term. However, my title is out of this deal. This is only the sake of the date."

"I know. I don't want the title in the first place anyway."

Yugi smirk.

"Then let's go. And may the lucky winner draw the right-"

"And final card."

We both gave each other a challenging smile before declaring, "Let's Duel!"

Yugi POV

"Dark Magician! Destroy his Silent Magician!"

Yami declared his final attack as Dark Magician began to cast his "Dark Burst" towards Silent Magician.

Yami's life point is the same as mine, but soon will change. I smirked. Figuring out that he is going to attack, before placing my hand on my trap card. This trap card will surely block his attack, end his turn, and I will be the victor of the duel once again.

However.

When I glance at Yami, his eyes shows great determination and love for the game. Not only that, but the passionate feeling when he look directly in my direction. Knowing immediately that he is waiting for my next move.

Does he know that he'll lose the duel? Does he know that I'll just play my next card, so that everything that he said will be forgotten and disappear. His eyes stare back at me; waiting.

'Why Yami?'

That when I knew.

That can't do it.

I can't throw Yami's feelings away.

Silent Magician disappear from the field; bring my life point down to the zero zone. Yami's expression turn surprised but quickly turn into suspicious. I just smile before shouting, "Are you going to just stand there? Or are you going to come back?"

"Uh? Oh, yeah!"

I smile before continue walking towards Yami's home and putting away the duel disk.

"Bye Yami. See you tomorrow."

"Yugi, let me take you home. It's not safe walking home all by yourself."

"I'll be fine. Don't worry."

"No."

His voice shows nothing can stop him from making a final decision as he took the jacket off of his hanger and began dragging me out of the door and into the night. We walked to my house in silent. Enjoying the comfortable presence that is right next to each other. Luckily, my home is not that far from Yami's as I fidget to get my keys out of my pocket and insert one of them in the hole. The familiar sound of 'click' alerted us that it is now open.

"Thank you for walking me home, Yami."

"My pleasure."

"Okay. Bye Yami."

I was about to go in, but Yami stopped me by taking my hand. I blushed when Yami said, "I'll pick you up at 8:00 for our date tomorrow. Is that alright?"

"Y-Yes."

Yami smile before letting me go.

"I'm looking forward to it, Yugi."

"M-Me too!"

Yami gave me a charming smile before he kissed me on the cheek and started to head back. When he left, I touch the spot where he kissed me. Oh Ra...

"What is this feeling?"
