"Thank you, mummy.", Claire says, and opens her eyes. Her head is resting on the chest of her mummy, as her mummy is hugging her. Mummy had just dragged her out of her dream, and just in time.

"Honey, are you hungry?", mummy asks.

"No, mummy. I just want to remain close to you.", she says calmly.

Mummy smiles, and says, "No worries, honey. I will always be here for you. I promise.", mummy says, and draws Claire even more closer to herself.

"Children, today we will be focusing on words and meanings.", the teacher says.

"Yay.", the children scream excitedly. They love to learn new things everyday.

"But remember...", the teacher starts.

"No noise.", the children complete.

"Exactly," the teacher says, "Now, What is a word?". The teacher pauses a little, and looks at the children.

"A word is a unit of language that can be spoken and written. What did I say?", the teacher says.

"A word is a unit of language that can be spoken or written.", the children chorus.

"Very good," the teacher says, "someone should name a word, and I will tell you the meaning of that word." All the children raise their hand, including Claire. They all have something to say.

"Yes, Austin.", the teacher says, and points at a boy.

"Teacher, what is an anatomy?", Austin asks.

"Great choice of word, Austin." The teacher says, "Where did you hear it?"

"My daddy is a doctor, and he uses that word all the time.", Austin explains.

"Well," the teacher says, "anatomy is the scientific study of the structure of human or animal bodies. What did I say?"

"Anatomy is the scien...", the children trail off. They did not understand what the teacher said. The teacher notices their abrupt stop, and chuckles.

"Don't worry, I will talk slower now. Repeat after me. Anatomy is the scientific study...", the teacher says.

"Anatomy is the scientific study...", the children repeat.

"Of human or animal bodies.", the teacher continues.

"Good. Now someone should name another word.", the teacher says. Again, all hands go up in the air.

"Yes, Amanda.", the teacher says and points at a girl.

"Teacher, what is a home?", Amanda asks.

"Wow," the teacher says, "that should be very easy. Who can answer that question for us?" Five children, definitely including Claire, raise their hands up.

"Yes, Patrick, what is a home?", the teacher points at a boy.

"A home is a very big, and awesome building where a family lives.", Patrick says.

That sentence quickly took Claire's mind far away from the class. She was confused now. "But I thought...", Claire murmurs. No one heard that. Her focus is no longer in the class.

"My building is not big, and it's definitely not awesome. That means, I don't ... I don't have a home.", she murmurs. Tears rush out of Claire's eyes. No one knows that Claire is crying. All their attention is on the teacher. The tears forms a cloud in Claire's eyes that Claire can't see anything. Soon, the eagerness to see gets the better of Claire. She wipes the tears away. But, she is no longer in the class.
