When the Paladins decided to take Lotor as their prisoner they weren't sure how you would react. Thace and Ulaz agreed to stay on guard duty when needed. So far Lotor hadn't caused any trouble. Yet.

"You brought WHO to the castle?!" You asked Shiro during dinner the night he told you about Lotor.

"Y/n, It's for the best." Allura told you.

"Are you guys crazy? He's the Galra version of Loki! He could be tricking everyone!" You said loudly.

"I don't know who this 'Loki' is, but I assure you that everything is fine." Allura said, trying to calm you down.

"Actually, I see the resemblance." Pidge said, playing with her food goo with her spoon.

"Ulaz and I have been put on guard duty when necessary. We promise, we won't let him hurt you." Thace said, placing one of his hands on one of yours.

"Fine, but I still think keeping him here is a bad idea." You said, knowing that something was going to go wrong.

After a successful mission with information Lotor gave the Paladins Shiro and Allura went to the dungeon where Lotor was being kept in a high tech cell. Thace and Ulaz went with them in case Lotor tried anything.

"Your Intel checked out." Shiro said once he and Allura were in front of the cell.

"You still feign surprise. All of the information I've given has proven correct. Every target I've provided is easily dispatched and yet you still look at me-" Lotor said, getting cut off by Allura.

"As if you were the leader of the most blood thirsty race this universe has ever known." Allura said, cutting Lotor off.

"Can people not change? Is it so hard to believe that I wish to return the Galra Empire to a bygone era of peace? You treat me like a prisoner while they get to roam free." Lotor said, glancing at Thace and Ulaz.

"They are apart of the team." Allura said, glaring at Lotor.

"Our fathers were friends once, long ago. There must be hope for us." Lotor stated.

"I guess we still need convincing." Shiro said, not quite believing Lotor.

"The facts speak for themselves. The Galra Empire is completely reliant on quintessence. Serve that need peacefully, and you have a complete paradigm shift. A new dawn for the old Empire." Lotor told Shiro and Allura.

"And you're the man to make this happen?" Allura scoffed.

"My plan from the beginning has been to find a way to harvest quintessence without resorting to the barbarism of the Comar. Extracting quintessence from entire planets at the cost of every living thing? I think not." Lotor said, only telling part of the truth.

"And your solution was to have Voltron to do your dirty work." Allura scoffed again.

"Only Voltron could retrieve the trans reality comet. So yes, I'm afraid I had to be a bit duplicitous in its retrieval." Lotor admitted.

"But if the Paladins were killed, that would be fine for you too." Shiro stated.

"It was a calculated risk, I admit that. But I knew they would come through without a scratch and since recovering the comet I haven't been in the least bit aggressive." Lotor said.

"What about your generals?" Allura asked him.

"A simple misunderstanding. I had no idea our paths would cross in the Ulippa system. What would I gain by fighting you? My sole focus has been on finding a way to cross through the zone between realities." Lotor replied.

"It sounds like you are your father's son." Allura said, glaring at Lotor.

"It was your father who led the scientific exploration that discovered quintessence. An explanation that I might add that resulted in the creation of Voltron. This isn't a zero sum game. Meeting the needs of the Galra Empire means bringing peace to the universe. That is the future enlightenment brings us." 

"One of prosperity for all. I saved your lives and the lives of all your comrades. I have given you target after target in the Galra Empire and all of them have been dismantled or destroyed at no cost of life to you. All I ask is to be judged by my actions rather than your preconceptions of my race. If that is beyond you then you should just finish me and get it over with. Clearly Princess, you are not ready to end this war." Lotor said darkly, standing up and walking closer to the forcefield.

You stood next to Thace and Ulaz as everyone gathered together. A meeting was about to start after Shiro and Allura got done talking to Lotor. When the screens popped up you saw one with Kolivian and Keith.

"As of today, our rebel forces have taken over one third of the Galra Empire. But we cannot grow complacent. The Galra Empire is still the dominant force in the universe. However, the tide is changing." Allura said, starting the meeting.

"The rebel coalition is winning because of you, Princess Allura. You and Voltron. Mere cycles ago I felt that my race would breathe their last breath in Galra chains, but then Voltron appeared on the horizon and our lives changed forever." An alien leader said happily.

"This bid for liberty is only possible because of all of our sacrifices. We still have a long way to go before the entire universe is free." Allura said.

"We'll be behind you every step of the way." The leader said.

"Thank you. We will be convened soon. Until then." Allura said as the screens fizzled away.

You were happy that so many people were willing to help Voltron win the war. For once, things were actually going well. A bigger screen appeared, showing Kolivian and Keith.

"Did you complete the raids on the targets we sent you during our last communication?" Shiro asked Kolivian.

"Yes, the information we've received from Lotor has consistency checked out." Kolivian replied.

"With all the successful missions taking place in such a short period of time it won't be long before the Empire realizes we're using inside information." Pidge said.

"That's true. We should expect the enemy to change protocol soon." Kolivian said.

"Then we need to act fast and hit as many targets as possible." Lance added.

"We'll talk to Lotor and see if there's anything else he can give us." Shiro said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I can't help but stop thinking that we might be an unwitting part of a much larger ulterior motive." Allura said, turning to face Shiro.

You scoffed, already knowing that something fishy was going on. You were just waiting for Lotor to do something stupid.

After everyone went to bed you couldn't help but pace back and forth in the room you shared with Thace and Ulaz. Your nerves were starting to get the better of you.

"Y/n, you must rest. If you stress yourself out too much it will damage your health." Ulaz told you as he got into his pajama pants.

"How can I rest knowing that there's a madman on the ship who thinks he's prince charming? He's going to break out and we're all going to be either killed or prisoners." You said, pacing faster.

"We won't let anything happen to you." Thace said, sitting on the bed.

You briefly stopped to look at him. Ulaz could tell that Thace was up to something. Thace got up, walked over to you and picked you up bridal style. Ulaz turned the lights off before joining you and Thace on the bed.

"What are you two doing?" You asked them curiously.

"We are going to cuddle with you until you relax." Thace replied as he and Ulaz purred.

You sighed, getting comfortable on the bed in between them. You knew that you wouldn't be going anywhere until you relaxed. It didn't take any of you very long to fall asleep.
