I Will Never Say Peekaboo
You lure me with those things
That look like chocolates to me
When in reality they are drugs
You wait for me to say Peekaboo!
'
You lure me with your voice
That drips with sweetness and more
When in reality you are choking on sugar
You wait for me to say Peekaboo!
'
You lure me with that music
Which you say you composed on your own
When in reality you switched on the radio
You wait for me to say Peekaboo!
'
You lure me with shine and glitter
Which you say will make my eyes open
When in reality you are blinded by it
You wait for me to say Peekaboo!
'
You lure me with your beauty
That equals all the oceans put together
When in reality your whole being is sunburnt
You wait for me to say Peekaboo!
'
How much ever you go on luring me
My sense of decision making
Will,can,will and can never,
Be overridden by yours!
'
You wait forever,
And I will never say Peekaboo!

The speaker in the poem is a girl who talks to her first love. In this,he happened to know her feelings for him and being a bad person at heart,he tries to lure her. Having known now, that he is not a good person, the girl hides. He thinks she will come out anytime calling out a "Peekaboo". He takes advantage of her feelings, playing with them as one can see in the poem. The girl vows that she would never fall for his duplicate charms.
