Mairi was about to sleep when someone knock on her door. Sinipat niya ang oras sa phone. It's already 10 o'clock. Sino ang mapangahas na kumakatok sa pintuan niya ng ganitong oras. Mahina lang ang katok pero mukhang siya talaga ang pakay. She want to open it pero may kinuha muna siya at inilagay sa bulsa ng pj's niya. Isang lanseta. Then she slowly open the door.

"Yes? I'm sorry I don't have a parcel." She's guessing a man standing behind her door was a delivery boy. Because he is wearing a red cap and black jacket with red shirts above. Anyway wala na naman magdedeliver nang ganitong oras. Pero mukhang J&T lang ang dating nang lalaki.

"I'm not from shoppee. Let me in because someone might see us together." The man casually talking to her that's why she became afraid and curious.

"Look, Kuya. I'm sorry. Do I know you?." Hindi na nakatiis si Mairi at nagtanong na ito. Hindi siya nakikilala ng dalaga. Madilim naman kase noong gabing iyon kaya halos hindi matandaan ni Mairi ang mukha nito.

"Yes. No. You don't know my name. But personally is you know me." The man reasoned while trying to enter her door.

"Wow! Prank ba ito?! Are you insane. Don't ever try to step once again or else I'll shoot your head!." Mairi was trying to be brave. But yes. She had a gun inside her cabinet. Then the man took away his cap. She remember him that's why she suddenly react.

"Uhh it's you. The freak Lawyer." Mahaba ang nguso na sambit ni Mairi.

"Good. You remember it. But, what's freak? Okay never mind." He ignored what she said.

"Who are you really? What do you want from me? Why do you keep showing up in the oddest situation?." She questioned but the man step inside her dorm and lock the door.

"I'm glad you're okay." They're about to sit in the sofa when they heard a sudden knock from the door. Mairi run towards her cabinet and pick the gun then inserting in her waist. Zeljko mesmerizing while staring to a young girl doing uneasy thing.

"Is that a real gun?." He asked curiously. Grabe. Gulat na gulat talaga si Zeljko dahil hindi siya makapaniwala sa nakikita niya ngayon. An innocent young lady had a gun in her room. Saan kaya ito galing. Napapaisip tuloy si Zeljko.

"What do you think of me? A kid? Hiding a toy in a cabinet?." She acts as if she's was an expert. 'Okay, man she's not a kid'. Zeljko talking to himself while following her going to the door.

"Mairi? Are you there." A voice of a girl behind the door seems panting and worrying.

"Yes, I'm here. Please wait."Mairi slowly open the door but Zeljko hide behind the door. He can't be seen in this place with a girl alone.

Nagulat man si Mairi sa nakita pero hindi siya nagpahalata. Anong ginagawa ng babaeng ito dito sa bahay niya? Her Lady master with another newbies in their sorority wearing a sad and worried face. Sharmane and Gwyneth, and another girl na hindi niya alam ang pangalan pero pamilyar ang mga mukha nila. Madali niyang matandaan ang mukha ng nakakasalubong niya.

"I'm sorry sis. I heard a news about you last night. You must called me so I can fetch you here." Wow! Really? Mairi feel hesitating about her. There is something about them. She message her last night pero hindi nagreply. Tapos ngayong gabi sila pumunta para mag-alala?. Mairi keep silent because she don't know how to react. Ang sinabi niya lang naman sa email ay hindi siya makakarating dahil hindi niya makuha ang daan. Paano nalaman na may nangyari sa kanya. Unless, kasabwat nila ang lalaki sa likuran ng pinto na nagtatago.

"Are you not afraid? You can be with us for a while. Let's stay in our dorm. You are welcome there always. Or doon sa white mansion we stayed there kung sasama ka sa amin? There's plenty of expert man with us. Afterall, no one can enter in that house because our seniors were powerful and protective." Zeljko smirking while hearing that girl blah, blah, blah.

"Thank you. But I'm fine here. I'm safe here." She refused their offer. 'Yes. I'm safe with my gun and a man standing behind this door'. Mairi in his mind. But she still doubting about this man. Then a few later her visitors went out.

"I see." He murmured when Mairi closed the door.

"What? What you see?." Mairi question him.

"I said. Where's that powerful and protective' nature last night when you are out alone and pretty in danger.?." He's smirking.

"Shut up. I feel something not normal. Or else you! What are you doing in that area?." She asked. "Kasabwat ka ba nila?." Dagdag pa niya na pinaghihinalaan ang kaharap niya.

"It happens. I'm walking nearby." He explained. Who is this man? Why he's sneaking in a shadows around. Why he is there when I needed him? Is he my hero? A guardian? Or my real father? Weeew! It can't be. We.. we shared our kisses that night. Then that moment flashing back to Mairi's stupid mind.

Is he really a Lawyer? Or just pretending to commit a daring robbery here in my dorm. But now, he is definitely afraid because he saw me with a gun.

Zeljko trying to untangle what happened that night and who is this girl sitting beside him. She's looking innocent but perhaps scary or trying to be brave because she knows that she's in danger. Is she knows about the latest news in the morning. Oh, 'I'm afraid. She have no T.V inside.' Zeljko's mind.

"Why are you here? Do you need something from me?." Mairi questioned him.

"I don't need anything from you. But I need your contact number." He replied.

Mairi wondered if she has misjudged this man inside her room. What if he was so dangerous? He was an evil? Or he was here to spy on an important person? And that's me.

"Why do you need my digits?." She surprised.

"Because you are the crime suspect of a murdered case. Oh erase that. We are." He stated sarcastically.

"You're insane. I'll never use this gun to murder someone." Mairi doubted.

"Yes you are. But I'm sorry to ask something inside your privacy. Why are you holding a gun like you're a pro?." He investigated her or he just curious about her. "I mean when I'm at your age I was so afraid to hold a gun of my father because it might kill me." He explained.

"Hahaha! Coward.! You can't be mistaken holding a gun. Even a months old can hold a gun like this!." She suddenly pick the gun and point at him dreadfully. The man starled but calm a bit when she's smile.

"Don't ever do that again. Because if you do. You'll be regrets in the end." He warned her. Na parang may kakaibang pumasok sa isip.

"Why would I? Whooah you scared me." She's pretending to be scared. Pero wala naman siyang kinakatakutan eh. Kahit mawala naman siya ngayon, walang iiyak sa kanya, walang mag-aalala. She's alone and nothing to be scared of.

"If you'll do that again. I will kiss you." He teased her in very serious tone.

"Don't try to be funny." She feel self conscious after what she heard.

"I'm not. But I hate kissing a kid." He try to divert his attention to his phone. And Mairi feels like inside the oven.

"And I'm not allowing you to do that.!." She's mad but her body language told different story. She feels excite if he do that again.

"Really?." He questioned in a husky tone. Before she answered. She was shock to what he did and she was pulled into his arms and kissed. Their lips meshed together. Zeljko was so attracted to the girl personality. She's provoking him. That's why he tempt to kissing her. Also the word kissing was enough to let his emotions go overboard.

Mairi got swayed. At first she's using her force to push him but she'd stop then savoring the moments. She's going to spoiled by him. "What's your name?." He ask murmuring while kissing her. "I'm Mairi." She responded panting.

"And yours." She asked too.

"Zeljko." He replied.

"Zeljko?." She repeated. Then after a minutes deafening noises of reality fill their ears. He must stop doing it because a firewall between them slowly fading. This girl was in danger if it's happen.

"Zeljko.?." She repeat again.

"Yes. Zeljmo." He insisted.

"Huuh!? Tagalog ka kuya! Oh my gad! Kanina pa ako nosebleed dito. Akala ko pa naman hindi ka marunong mag-tagalog! What the.!." Napagod siya mag-english.

"Don't call me kuya because you allowed me to kiss you." Pang-aasar nito pero may kasamang kakaibang smile sa mga labi.

"I'm not!. You seduced me again." So it's me who seduced her last time. Ngayon lang naconfirmed ni Zeljko na talagang siya ang may kasalanan ng gabi na iyon at ngayon naulit na naman. Siya na naman ang first move.

"You're holding a gun. Why you wouldn't shoot me while I'll do rummaging your mouth." He mocked her with sense then Mairi choose to zipped her mouth.

"And please. Keep that gun away from you. You might kill your self."

"You needn't worry about what I can handle." Mairi says but in her minds she's hesitating to take care of herself lalo na sa harapan ng lalaking savior niya. This man was like an angel to her at kahit nasa panganib siya ngayon ay parang safe na safe siya kasama ang lalaking ito na nasa harapan niya.

But what if he was following her for a dark reason? 'Uhh Mairi, stop thinking about it. Wala namang mawawala sa kanya eh. Wala siyang kayaman or pinapahalagahan man lang. Wala siyang mapapala kung may binabalak siyang masama. Isa pa. Magpapaubaya ako sa kanya. 'Stop it, Mairi! Saway ng utak niya. Sino ba ang lalakeng ito na parang kabute kung sumulpot sa harapan niya.
