"Eomma I wanna see grandma." Changkyun whined. "I wanna go back to school. I wanna see my friends." The toddler had missed his friends and school. "Sweetie soon you'll start kindergarten. Then you can go back to school." Kihyun mumbled. He hadn't been able to sleep much lately.

The younger had been in a whiney mood lately. He pouted again and kept begging to see his grandma. "Okay fine." He sighed and took out his phone texting his mother. Changkyun jumped in joy and hugged Kihyun's legs being too short to reach the olders neck.

Kihyun didn't want to visit his mother if he was being honest. "Can appa go with us." Changkyun pleaded. "I-I don't know if he can. Why are you asking." The toddler stopped hugging the olders legs and twittled with his fingers. Kihyun knew he was hiding something from him.

So he picked him up and softly made the younger look at him by moving his chin. "What's wrong." The older asked sternly. Changkyun started to cry and hugged his mother's neck. "Wolfie." Kihyun mumbled and hugged him tight. "Don't cry or you'll make me cry."

"What if the bad men take you away from me again." The toddler confessed. Kihyun was shocked he remembered. "Wolfie no one's going to take me away from you. I'll always be here with you forever." Changkyun loosened his grip and looked at Kihyun.

"Promise." He demanded. Kihyun held out his pinky and smiled. "Promise." The toddler linked their pinkies and sniffled. Then buried his head back in Kihyuns neck. The front door opened and Hyunwoo appeared. He noticed the sadness in the atmosphere.

He walked up to them and heard Changkyun sniffle and rubbed his back. "Is everything okay." He asked. Kihyun nodded. "He's just tired." His phone chimed and ignored it. "I don't wanna go anymore." Changkyun mumbled. "Not without appa."

"Where are you guys going." The older asked. "He wants to visit his grandma. It's been a long time and he misses her." Kihyuns phone chimped again and looked at the messages. "Grandma wants to see you though. You don't wanna make her sad now do you." Kihyun questioned.

"N-No." The toddler mumbled. "I'll go with if Changkyun wants." Hyunwoo asked. The toddler nodded and sucked his thumb. "You sure." Kihyun asked the older. He nodded with a smile. Kihyun knew his mother never liked Hyunwoo.

She wanted him to meet a nice lady and start a nice family. "I'll get your guys's shoes and coats. It's really chilly out there." The older kissed both their cheeks and went to grab their things. Kihyun sat down still holding Changkyun.

Hyunwoo came back with their things. "I gotta grab something from the room. Could you help him with his shoes and coat." Kihyun asked. "Yeah." The older nodded and was handed Changkyun. He pouted from being away from his mother.

Kihyun got up and went to his room. Hyunwoo picked up Changkyuns shoes and was about to put them on him. "I got it." The toddler grabbed his left shoe and put it on then his right. "Okay let's go." Kihyun said putting something in the pocket of his coat and then put the coat on.

The older nodded as Changkyun held out his arms for Kihyun to hold him. "You're a big boy now. I can't keep carrying you." The red head said. Changkyun was gonna cry. "Fine." Kihyun said and picked him up. "I can carry him if you'd like." Hyunwoo asked. Changkyun nodded and leaned towards the older holding out his arms.

Kihyun handed the younger over and yawned. "Why don't you get some rest in the car. It's gonna be a while till we get to your mother's house." The red haired nodded and they headed to the car.

Knock Knock

"Eomma its us." Kihyun said and stepped back from the door. A few seconds later there were sounds of locks being unlocked and the door opened. "Kihyunnie it's been so lo- What is he doing here." Her tone changed from sweet to disgust.

"I-I've been staying with him for a while. Since I stopped working at Monbebe's." Kihyun tried to keep his smile. She looked at Hyunwoo up and down. "Why didn't you just stay with me." She asked. "C-Come in it's cold out there." She suddenly shivered feeling the cold breeze.

They went in. Hyunwoo was holding a sleeping Changkyun and Kihyun took off his coat. "You have a lovely home Mrs. Yoo." Hyunwoo smiled politely. "Do you or Changkyun want anything to drink." She asked the shorter adult. She ignored Hyunwoo as if he wasn't there.

"I'm fine but maybe some hot chocolate for Changkyun. Hyunwoo do you want anything." He asked. The older shook his head. "I have his christmas presents and birthday present in the other room if you'd like to get them for him." Mrs. Yoo smiled.

She then left to the kitchen. "She hasn't changed." Hyunwoo whispered. "Yeah." Kihyun sighed. He took off his coat and shoes. Hyunwoo did the same, then took off Changkyuns. "Wolfie wake up we're at grandmas." Kihyun whispered. The toddler yawned and rubbed his eyes.

"Where is she." He asked. "Making you hot chocolate. She has your christmas presents in our old room." The toddler nodded and rested his head in Hyunwoo's neck like he did earlier with Kihyun. "Someone's a bit sleepy huh." Mrs. Yoo chuckled.

The toddler nodded and held out his arms for her to hold him. Hyunwoo let go as she took the toddler from his arms. Kihyun held his hand and guided him to the couch. "You're so thin my grandchild. Are you being fed." Mrs. Yoo asked. Changkyun nodded.

"You weren't this thin living with me." She cooed and tickled him making him laugh. "Grandma stop." Changkyun laughed.  She stopped tickling him and let him down. The tea kettle went off and the older lady got up and went to the kitchen.

"I'll go get his things from my room so we can bring it home." Kihyun said getting up. He went into his room. Mrs. Yoo came out before Kihyun and handed Changkyun his hot chocolate. It wasn't hot or cold. They sat and talked, didn't talk, and laughed while the toddler drank his hot coco.

Hyunwoo just sat there and played with Changkyun. "I'm gonna go and put his things in the car." Kihyun said getting up. "I can do it." Hyunwoo insisted. "I'll be fine. Besides I gotta." He put two fingers up to his lips as if he was smoking.

The older sighed and nodded. The younger put his shoes on and coat. Then took the presents and went outside. Hyunwoo hated how Kihyun smoked. Yet he was thinking of starting. He knew it wasn't something safe to start.
