Ok, so I'm really torn between sharing this and not, cause on the one hand I love her, but on the other hand I don't wanna give too much away

I'm just gonna write this assuming that my impulsive monkey brain won this battle and I decided to share her

But I'm not saying too much

Partly because I'm still planning so idk what I'm actually gonna keep, and I don't wanna say something will happen and then it doesn't end up happening

Partly because I'm still planning so idk what's gonna be a spoiler, and even if I do make some things not spoilers, they might still be fun little surprises

And partly because I know it's gonna take ages to make, especially since I'm still only in the planning stages, so no one will see much from this for a while, and I don't wanna hype this up too much just for there to be a super long wait

But

I'm planning on making a choose your own adventure story here on Wattpad

Like I said, still planning, so I can't give away many details

But there are 2 characters (well, technically 3 if you count the Narrator)(of course there are other characters in universe who have influenced things in the past, but the only characters that you will actually see are these 2 or 3. Or at the very least, it's very unlikely that you will see any more, there is always a chance I could change my mind on this later, but for the moment these are the only ones you'll actually see, and I'm not sure if I want to add to the characters cause it could just complicate things even more)

So the Narrator is gonna be very similar to the Narrator in the Stanley Parable, but with less power over the story(anyone who hasn't played that game or seen anything from it, I highly recommend it, it's hilarious)
They won't interact with anything, they're just there to narrate what's happening. But they are perfectly happy sharing their opinion on what's happening, and might sometimes be very biased if you make the main character do something they don't like or something. Also, although it is literally their job to watch what's happening and tell this story, they aren't always all that great at it, and can sometimes be kinda unobservant and/or oblivious as to what is happening, or might not distinguish between important and unimportant information (though all of this stuff happens much more often in silly endings)
There's gonna be many endings, some are more serious, some are more jokey, and the tone of the narrator will be heavily influenced by your decisions and which ending you are more likely to get
However, there is a chance I won't have the narrator and instead just have everything from the main characters pov, but idk. I'm more used to writing things from a characters pov but I think it would be easier to understand what is happening and be less influenced by the thoughts of the main character  if it was someone completely separate to them, so I'm still deciding on that. But definitely leaning more heavily towards Narrator

The main character, who you play as, so far doesn't have a name, so until I think of one for him, I'm just gonna call him MC. He also so far doesn't have a personality, and I'm not 100% sure how much of a personality separate to your decisions he will have (I might give him some sort of personality in some of the endings, but at the moment he is just a vessel for the readers to control). Also, he doesn't have a design yet, because when he does have a design I want it to actually look interesting and not just bland and generic, and it's hard to come up with an interesting design for someone who doesn't have a personality
(Also his lack of a personality so far is another big factor in why I'm leaning more towards have the Narrator rather than having it from MC's pov, cause writing from a characters pov is significantly harder if they have no personality)

And finally, there is Xi
(Her name is pronounced like if the word sigh was spelt with a z instead of an s. Also, it can also be written like Ξ or ξ )
Well I guess "Xi" is more of a title than a name. She was never given a name, but she decided to choose one out for herself. However, thanks to her position, she is supposed to keep things all formal, and stick to Xi, and all that, which she doesn't enjoy as much for many reasons(this is also why her first design is pretty dull). Her name isn't a spoiler or anything, I just don't wanna say it because there will be an opportunity for her to tell you herself, but only if she truly trusts and cares for MC, and I really don't want to take away from that moment by just saying it.

She has been alone for a long time, and MC is the first person she has seen in a very long time. She's kinda forgotten what people are supposed to be like, so your actions towards her, and that she sees you do, will heavily influence what she thinks of you, what she thinks of people, what she thinks of herself, and her entire personality. She will unconcilusly mirror your actions but to the extreme (if you're kind to her she'll be super happy and fun and friendly and slightly clingy but you'll be her best friend and she'll do almost anything for you, if you're an asshole she will get all snarky and bitchy towards you, giving you tons of attitude and making things as inconvenient for you as possible, etc etc).

Her job is to look after the place that the story takes place in, as well as some other stuff. She was never told what to do in the case of an intruder, so she wont actually do anything too drastic to kick out MC (unless he really pisses her off and/or tries to do too many things that he's not supposed to(though, if she likes him, you will have to push her to her absolute limit for her to try to kick him out)), but she is happy to help him find a way out if he asks, and, if she likes him, she is also happy to just chill and hang out with him, as long as he doesn't do anything that annoys or hurts her, or could get her in trouble should the people in charge of her find out she let him stay

The story, ignoring all of the choices, and things that could potentially be changed or made into spoilers, is basically MC accidentally finds himself in a old (seemingly)abandoned building, meets Xi, and, with her help, tries to find a way out

Doesn't sound all that interesting when I put it like that, but I really don't want to reveal too much

Also, something fun I might do for each ending (or at least each major ending) is have a different song at the end that reflects the whole path that you just took (I've already got a couple songs picked out for that, but I'm not 100% sure if I'll do that)

Ok, so Xi has 3 designs. You see, she can change how she looks however she wants(apart from a couple details that she can't change no matter what, except the colour of those things). She won't do this much though. The first design is how she looks when you first meet her, and depending on your actions, she might keep this design throughout. The other 2 designs, she might get later on, depending on how she has been treated up to this point (first impressions are very important). You will never see these 2 designs on the same route

(Edit: Actually kinda glad I stuck to boring poses, her poofy sleeves on her second design make it awkward trying to draw her arms in different positions lol)

Also, I haven't drawn it yet as I'm writing this (might do later though), but when she blushes the triangle between her glowey dots (I guess I could call them freckles for simplicity, but they're not freckles :3 ) glows either silver, pink, or red, depending on which design she is currently using

Also, you can't see it, but any part of her in silver, pink, or red pen (including when she blushes)light up, so if ever there is a point where things get really dark, she will still be partly visible (which I may draw at some point just to make it clear exactly which parts glow). Of course, she can also make her whole body glow if she wants, but she thinks that would be going a bit overboard, and plus it would take up way too much energy so it wouldn't last for long, and it would probably hurt her if she tried to keep doing that for longer than a minute or 2

I might come up with some more designs for her, with different colours for different routes and personalities, but idk, I like these so far, and it might be easier to just stick to 3 designs and see where that gets me. If I do come up with any more designs for you though, I will definitely post them

Also I drew some comics, and I really wanna share them, especially a couple wholesome ones (cough my current favourite rwby quote and another wholesome rwby quote that I love cause they both suit her so well cough) but at the same time I might have revealed a bit too much about her in those comics(especially since they have her slightly outdated design that heavily implies at a lot more about her than what I've said so far, cause when I drew those I thought I was gonna say that about her but now I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep that a secret for a while or if it's gonna be common knowledge at the start, and I want the option to at least keep it a surprise), so I guess instead I'll just say I drew some comics of her and make you wonder what happens in those comics :)
