Yeah, I'm still working on those oc crossover comics, they're a lot of fun
(Edit oof still working on them but not as much as I want to I really wanna continue with them and post them soon but like I said I've been busy so idk when they'll be done)

But I was just going through a cupboard and found an absolute gem

Cause back in 2006/2007  my class made a tea towel together. And by made, I mean all the students had to draw themselves, and those drawings were put on a tea towel with our names on it, and then those tea towels were sold to our parents

But I saw it and I thought "I wonder how much I have improved"

So I decided to do a 15 year comparison art challenge
Ngl it's gonna be hard to improve upon the work of art that I made, but I'm sure as hell gonna give it a a shot

(Definitely didn't just draw this as an excuse to mention the fact that I have already posted a chapter about her with her full design and as much as I can say about her without spoilers but apparently no one saw it, which is fine, it probably just got buried under a bunch of other notifications that day, or maybe the wattpad gods thought that she gains her power through people knowing of her existence, and they decided that she was too powerful already, so they decided to not let anyone know that got posted. Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware that exists though, mostly just because I spent a bit too long trying to figure out how to write about her without giving away major spoilers, and then no one saw it anyway lmao)

Also, the comics aren't done yet, but I decided to show off a few of my favourite panels so far cause why not (mostly just because like I said idk when they're gonna be done so I don't wanna just leave you guys with nothing for ages)

I'll get into it a bit more when the comics come out(not too much though), but just like EP, Xi and Omi can't eat and therefore none of them quite understand how food works

The closest I've got is a straw that goes into heart shaped glasses that I can't even wear because I would have to take off my actual glasses to do that and I literally can't see anything without them lol (I might just get contacts at some point but idk how much they cost and it's not number 1 on my priorities list so that probably won't happen for a while)

Fun fact, remember when I said when introducing her that I made several comics and wanted to post them but couldn't because spoilers. This is a slightly updated version of my favourite non spoiler comic from that

Star can compress her herself to make herself smaller, which she does most of the time just so she can enter buildings and stuff, but this is super uncomfortable for her, and plus she has to be careful not to compress herself too much or she might accidentally create a black hole (the smallest she can be without risk of a blackhole is still around two times as tall as Rose, who is the tallest out of everyone else in naos and most of tcg. I might do a height comparison of everyone at some point, I technically did ages ago for the naos characters, but I was mostly just winging a lot of their proportions, so I'll probably redo it). When Star doesn't alter her height this is an accurate size comparison to Penny, who is the (joint) shortest character in tcg

Also these two would get along really well, I realised while thinking up some interactions how similar I accidentally made them lmao. Penny is a lot more sweet, and Star is a lot more egotistical, but they're both happy, self confident, kind, think highly about those around them (unless they give them a good reason not to like them), they both love the colour yellow, can produce light (Penny can only do this as a firefly, but she still can technically), and they both have the ability to read other people's emotions (Star through seeing and Penny through feeling, but other than how this ability works with both of them, it is still pretty much the same ability)(speaking of their empathy powers, so far this is the only comic I've made with both of them, but I really wanna do more cause in this comic I do a sorta empathy vision thing where you see the world how Star sees it/how Penny feels it, and I really wanna do more things with EV cause it's a fun concept)

In other completely unrelated news, I've recently started a job in subway, so that's fun.

I have to do a thing to help train me for that, which consists of watching these videos and then answering questions on those videos, and let me just say those videos are so bad it's hilarious. I'm not sure which is funnier, how overacted they are, or the fact that the main character in these videos is called Chad (something I noticed 3 seconds into the first video)
I'm not entirely sure if the videos are on YouTube, if I can find them before I next post I will 100% link them though because the world needs to see these videos (I am half tempted to just record them as I watch them and post them myself but I don't wanna do that just in case I get in trouble, but I am definitely looking to see if I can find them on YouTube already)

Also it's  great there cause I get free unlimited drinks too while working, and a 50% discount on food (not that I've bought anything other than cookies since starting there yet though lol)

Also all my coworkers are really nice. One of them, almost as soon as he met me and actually had a chance to talk, the first few questions he asked me were "what fandoms are you in", "have you heard of [insert a bunch of different ships here]" and "do you like anime", so I instantly knew that working here was gonna be great
Another coworker I found out is apparently a wrestler whenever we aren't in lockdown, and I am not entirely sure what to do with this information, especially since I know literally nothing about wrestling so I can't bring it up in a casual conversation
Also one of the other guys looks kinda like a younger Brian Kotch, and couldn't stop thinking about that on my first shift lmao

Not that it matters too much how well I get along with them, cause I signed up to do the night shifts, so I probably won't interact with them too much soon (the only 2 reasons why I'm actually doing day shifts at the moment are because I'm still a trainee so they wanna make sure I know how to do my job before I go onto nights, and because when the first lockdown happened this subway stopped being 24/7 and they're about to bring that back in a week or 2 so until then I'm doing closes instead) (I'm still not entirely sure if it was a mistake signing up for night shifts, on the one hand I'm already nocturnal, and plus there will most likely be less people coming in cause it's night, but on the other hand everyone seems to think I'm crazy the moment I say I signed up for night shifts, so who knows maybe this will be a complete train wreck, let's just wait and see)

The main reason why I made this rather than just waiting until I finish the crossover comics before I post anything is because thanks to my job idk when I'm actually gonna finish them, cause it's taking up a lot of my time. Hopefully they won't take too long to make, but like I said, no clue when they're gonna be done

Also, completely unrelated to all of that, but since I'm posting this now, I might as well say I GOT MY FIRST COVID VAXINE A FEW DAYS AGO 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Not looking forward to my second one cause I fucking hate needles, but Jesus Christ I would be a moron if I let that come in the way of literally saving lives and trying to get everything back to normal, so I'm just gonna get on with that ASAP
(Though there is a chance that I might have to have my second one on my birthday, so that's gonna be fun)
