It's been a long time
Seeing your name pop up on my phone
Snapchat still thinks we're besties
But we're very far from that

And I don't mean that in a bad way
I've learned to live without seeing your face
Not that I don't care at all
It's because I once cared too much

Wish we could meet up soon
A lot of shit happened since we said adieu
I don't even know how to say hi anymore
Not gonna lie I'm kinda scared

Haven't wrote a single poem in these past few weeks
Maybe I'm going through a writer's block
Maybe I'm just an artist who has lost her art
Whatever this is, I hope it passes soon

'Cause I miss writing more than I miss you
I miss those sleepless nights writing
When words would flow throughout me like blood
But now it's hard to even think what's possible
