scene: miyaku (utau)'s house

"oh my gosh miyaku, your not seriously gonna wear that on your first day of school are you? you have to look your best for the first day." my best friend konoko megiri stated. shes the girl one out of all of our friends, and the major fashion fanista. you can never get by her without her outfit approval.

"konoko we don't have time to constantly change." my other bestfriend misuki haranawa informed. konoko hung her head at hearing this, even though she was well aware of the time. every year we seem to be almost late to the first day of school. this would be our second year at chirimiko high; an all girl school. right next to our school is an all boys school; cheshire high. ( yes cheshire i love that cat.) these 2 school are very different from your average school, instead of constently taking notes and doing work sheets, we compose music and write lyrics, or even act or dance. we do have some learning and taking notes and work sheets and we do learn some normal subjects like math and stuff, but we kind of need those subjects to do real world things we can't just rely on the entertainment industry to make money because if we aren't good enough we're gonna need a backup plan.

"come on girls we're gonna be late." misuki rushed. she's the oldest she was held back by her parents one year for some bully issue and ow her parents regret it but she's glad she was held back because now she has us.

"ok fine but please put on this out fit miyaku, youcan't be allowed to wear the same outfit for the first day of school 2 years in a row." konoko whined, making me laugh a little. misuki came and pulled her out of my room so she'd stop bothering me with my outfit and let me finish getting dress, but what kind of person would i be to turn down fashion advice from a fashionista. i put on the outfit and rushed out to my friend who were waiting on my couch. there sat konoko the girl fashonista, that is 2 months older then me, misuki who is 16 and wears glasses, and katsumi who loves video games and dressing like a little girl,who is 3 weeks older then me. we all rushed into the kitchen grabbed a peice of toast misuki made early this morning when she came over for us, and rushed out the door me kicking my toes against the ground to get my shoes on all the way and hopping in the passanger side of misuki's red comaroe. konoko and katsumi in the back. misuki's comaroe had the top down so the wind was blowing crazy through our hair. as soon as the gt to school we jumped out and misuki went around back and parked the car then rushed back to meet us we all ran into school we were 2 minute before the bell so we rushed in and headed to class. misuki the advanced composer's class, me and konoko adverage second years singers and composers class, and katsumi second years dancer class. we all ran our seperate ways and failed to beat the bell into class. as soon as me and konoko were about to open the door to class  the bell rang and the teacher; a beautiful blonde model turned and tapped her desk in annoyance at the sight of me and konoko comming in late again on the first day. we have the same teachers the first 2 years so i had her last year too. the singer and composers class isn't nessasaraly singing its also playing music on instruments, but each one of our class projects requires us to partner up with some thats taking the opposite course of ours, for example i'm a singer and player so i have to partner with a composer and konoko is a composer so she has to partner up with a singer or player. oh and if your wondering we do have a music history class. ( the composer and singer partnership idea comes from prince-sama).

" ok class today and the next 2 days we will be listening to everyone player or singer something they've come up with. i'm sure each and everyone of you has some dabbled of lyrics or sheet music in your musicisial notebooks you were all given last year so i would like each and everyone of you to pick one of your songs and sing a part of it. it does not need to be finish and if you don't have any dabbles in your music journals shame on you and come up with something or ask to barrow a dabble from a friend. now miyaku you go first." the teacher; haruka-sensai said and i nodded and rose from my desk at the back of the class and walked up to the front of the classroom up onto the mini-stage in front of he teachers desk, my notebook in hand and began to she the words on the first page of my journal.

" class these next few day we'll be listening to everyone one of you sing or play something you all have in your journals, im sure you all have smething and it doesn't have to be complete you just have to sing or play a part of it, and if you dont have anything then go home tonight and write something or barrow something from a friend. now kenji ( riku) would you go first." hisashi-sensai informed, i nodded and walked up to the front of the class my journal open in hand, i began to sing. " all students and teachers please exit the school and wait in front of the school, i have important news for you all." head mistress makuri said on the anouncements.

scene: cheshire high, first period. after song

" students and teachers, please exit the school through the front and wait, there is news o be shared with you all." head master sakura announced on the announcements. once we all exited the school we all noticed the girls school was outside too. i became confused, i wonder what the news could be.

" dear students this is head mistress of chirimiko high me and head master sakura would like to share some news with you all." the head mistress announced.

" we got married this summer so we are head master and head mistress sakura, but thats not the big big new. the big news is we decided to combined the schools i'm pretty sure you were all wondering why there was the giant brown sheet over the previous space where our schools used to be separated. well it the part that was constructed during the summer that combines our to school it is now a co-ed school. the schedules you all had for today are not your real class schedules so make sure to visit the tables along the side. each table is labeled with a letter make sure you visit the table with the first letter of your first name to get your new schedules. oh ok then i'll go to K.

"name?" the teacher asked not even looking up at me.

"kenji, kenji naki" i answered, she then began to flip through her flip chart of many pages.

"kenji naki, ok. heres your schedule." she stated handing it to me again not looking up at me.

i walked up to the M table and told the woman at the table my name.

" i'm miyaku, otori " i said.

" miyaku, check heres your schedule." she said handing me my schedule. i then heard another teach speaking on a mic shout for all students who already got there schedules to meet in the middle of the large square of tables and sit on the provided bleachers the couches brought out. i sat down in the middle on the first level of the bleachers. the bleachers were pretty crowded considering they only just started giving out the schedules.

" hey babe wanna hang with us, you'll have the time of your life." a gang of dude dressed like alley trash said to me. the one who seemed to be there leader put his hands on my shoulders and the others pulling my arms.

" s-stop it! leave me alone!" i shouted, but of course there was no teachers to see or hear because there was to much noise and all the teachers were working.

" hey duchebag! you don't treat girls like that!" i then heard a male voice shout the voice quickly coming closer.

"u-uh kenji we just wanted to hangout." they  said seeming to back off.

" i don't give a fuck! you dont treat a girl that way expecially the cute ones, no matter how fucking cute they are." the boy shouted.

" b-but kenji we're sorry. we're still in the guild though right?" the group of guys said, shaking out of the skin.

" like hell! if you think your allowed back in the guild after treating someone like that then your fucking stupid!" i shouted, i'm no hero and i know i'm not mr. perfect, and i know that i've done some pretty bad things and even treated a girl less then she is, but no one should treat a girl like this.

" b-but kenji we're sorry." they continued.

" no!" i shouted.

"fine then we'll ask kaito to let us back in." they threatened.

" have you forgotten who the master of the guild is?" i stated, raising and eyebrow at them.

"... f-fine we'll start our own guild and it will be way better then yours." they spat.

" ok then. but now that your not in the guild anymore." i said i erased there guild marks then punched each of them in the face.

"hey are you ok?" i asked, turning back to the girl after the guys scurried off.

"u-uh yea, heh heh um uh." she replied, moving her hair out of her face.

" was that... an indircect complement back there?" she continued. i then sat next to her.

"what?" i asked not sure of what she was talking about.

" when you said ' expecially the cute ones'," she answered.

" oh haha you caught that?" i asked, nervously scratching the back of my neck.

"yea. thanks for the complement your cute yourself." she commented. and i looked at her shocked.

" wow your blunt." i chuckled. and she laughed t little with me.

"hey why dont i show you my guild. i'm not much of a rebel who skips school, but wanna skip school with me? you can bring your friend too if you want." i asked, i dont wanna seem like your stereotypical bad boy skater so i invited her firends.

" no nevermine let me ask the head masters what the plan is." i stated. running off tup to the head masters.

" can we all just leave it's clear that his is gonna take all day." i  said, and he nodded.

" attention students after you get your schedule you are free to leave and head home." head master sakura said.

" there now we're free to leave." i commented, back by the girl.

" hey konoko, katsumi, misuki come on we're gonna go check out a guild." i waved over, inviting my friends who just got there schedules.

" haha and so your gonna leave with a random guy?" misuki teased.

" hey he saved me from a gang of loser." i replied.

" haha thats what they want you to think." she retorted.

" hmpf fine if you dont wanna come just say so." i commented.

" hey! i do wanna come!" she shouted running over with the girls.

" so who are you stranger man." katsumi, asked poking the guy. and circling him as we walked.

" yea who are you?" i urged, and we all laughed.

" damn kenji got 4 girls with him." i heard a male voice say from behind us. we all stopped and turned around.

" i have to say never thought kenji could get a girl he to awkward." the dude said, he seemed to be the same age if not older thenthe kenji guy.

" hey zen" kenji stated.

" hey kenji. so uh you heading to the guild?" he asked, and kenji nodded.

once we got to the guild i showed the girl and her friends around.

"we're a competition guild. we challange other guilds to a performace battle or dance off. its a guild with people of all skills to challange others with the same skill to a masters of skills challange. and the winners win money. once you've beaten many challanged you can get recognized, or even get into the entertainment industry or if you good a ice skating or something then you could get into the olympics. so its a guild to show of your skills as a start to make a profession from it or even just for fun." i explained to the girls, and they nodded.

" so anyways i don't believe you told me what your name is yet." i pointed out, addressin the  blonde with 2 pigtails.

" o-oh my names miyaku." she replied. staring at the people in the guild.

" this place is huge how do you hide such a tall building in such a small city?" the tall girl with glasses asked, the question being retorical but i answered anyways.

" by being well known. people are aware of its location. everyone knows about guilds and this is the guild for all the cities near here including this city. everyone knows what there all about and how extreamly hard it is to get into a popular one, and how extreamly hard you have to work to even become half as good as all the people in the suckiest guild much less the big more famous guild. only a few haven't heard of guilds you 4 being part of that few." i stated factually.

" wait... whats the name of this guild?" the girl with glasses asked.

" scarlet twilight why?" i answered, with a ending question.

"  THE twilight guild?!" the girl with glasses shouted in shock.

"yea," i answered

" OMG this place is famous. arent you like one of the top guilds?" she asked and i nodded.

" ooooh whos the master? i wanna meet them." the girl with glasses again shouted. zen the pointed to me.

"wait YOUR the master?!" she shouted. and i nodded once again.

" OMG so cool!!!!" she shouted fangirling.

"this is sooo cool!" miyaku squeeled, looking around like a kid in a candy store.

" hey kenji i'm in the mood for an old backstreet boys song what do you say come sing with me?" zen asked, and nodded him pulling on my shirt really hard. i grabbed miyaku's hand to pull myself back but instead he just let go so me and miyaku when tumbling.

".....wow" was all i could say, miyaku fell on top of me her hands by my head holding herself up.

" u-uh what?" she asked flustered, not looking me in the eye,pushing her hair behind her ears.

"...your beautiful." i answered, not realizing that i just spook my thoughts out loud.

" wait did i just say that out loud?!" i asked, embaressed, finally snapping out of my trance.

" ...y-y-yea," miyaku answered getting off of me.

"l-lets go sing now zen" i said standing up, still flustered.

" how about we sing an n sync song instead." zen suggested. and i nodded. we both jumped onto the stage at the front of the guild.

" ryuta, kyoya come on." i shouted across the guild my nerves now calm again.

we all danced in sync with each other and rocked out like a boy band. i could see miyaku and her friends smile like crazy. i then jumped of the stage and fixed mt beanie.

" hey kenji lets show them the skate room." zen suggested and i nodde, waving for the girls to follow me.

" this is the skate room entirely for skate...well theres blachers on the sides for people who wanna watch." i informed.

" hey kenji lets skates." zen said hitting my arm then jumping onto the skate ramp in his inline roller blades.

" fine oh and go around this way and try not to fall onto the ramps, and if you wanna try it you can use some of those skates over there on the rack and then theres a ramp over there for the beginners so you dont get run over." i informed the girls. then jumped on the ramps with my skateboard. doing ollie shiftys and stuff, being the best out of everyone skating i felt bad though doing things i like and not asking what miyaku wants to see and do. thats when i stopped and walked over to miyaku and the girls.

"is there anything you'd like to see?" i asked, them. miyaku spoke up.

" do you have a dance room?" she asked and i nodded, then lead them to it and there were people dancing some in pairs and some alone. then miyaku ran out and started to dance, she was amazing and clearly the best there. everyone else dancing seemed to stop and watch she then ran to the stereo and put on some hiphop musicthen started dancing to it everyone around copying her move including me, until we were a big dance group. then soulja boy came on and i started doing the dance, she laughed at me.

" hahahaha i think your soulja boy dance is cute, but let the professionals show you how its done." she stated then her and the girl started dancing simultaniously. wow shes cute, and really good. she then stuck her tongue out at me.

"oh haha your so cute." i said joking as a reaction to her sticking her tongue out.

"oh dang its 10pm i need to go i gotta get to school tomarrow. bye everyone." i informed, turning to rush out of the room.

"wait.. kenji thanks for today." miyaku said making it kind of sound like we went on a date. i then ran home.

"welcome students to chesiko high, hope you all enjoy your new co-ed school year." the head mistress said. i then looked at my schedule. i have some new teacher must be some of the guy teachers. times for first period, i rushed off to class. my first period is now hisashi-sensai.

scene chesiko high, with kenji. four months

everyday miyaku would visit the guild with her friends she ended up being my best friends and we'd hangout everyday. and of course we just happened to never get a project together.

 "ok class pick a person near that is of the opposite gender, they will be your partner. it doesn't mattter weather the parrings are singer and singer, or composer and composer, or composer and singer. this will be your partner. 2 singer, then write lyrics together a song together, 2 composers, write sheet music together, singer and composer then do what we normally do. or even be creative if your 2 singers and one can play there one play and the other sing" hisashi-sensai ordered, giving us our new class project. the minute he released us to pick partners some guy picked miyaku and a ton of girls ran over to me. sadly the rules were we couldn't refuse someone so they were our partners. i ended up getting kazuko since she was the first to rush over to my desk.

" so um uh i'll uh come over to your house a-and we can work on our project." kazuko said, blushing at the ground and rubbing her hands together, most likely out of nervousness.

"hmm ok heres my address." i stated, handing her a peice of paper with my address and stree name on it. she nodded and headed back to her desk i looked over tot see miyaki still dealing with her partners. geez class is so boring.

"ok lets get to making music." kazuko shouted clapping her hands together.

" i invited kagimasa to compose, since we're allowed to have accompaniment on this song." she informed, and i simply nodded. i had no insperation so kazuko offered to write the music.

" look kazuko i'm not into singing those kind of songs, i don't even like pop or hip hop or whatever it is." i stated, she looked down upset. i hate that i hurt her feelings but i really dont like those songs or type of music so i wasn't going to sing it. (note: i changed the time so this is 4 months after they met.)

"lets just ask mr. hisashi for a new partnership tommarrow." i suggested and she nodded and headed home.

" hisashi-sensai, me and my partner don't like the same music. he likes screamo and i like hiphop and alternative, can i get a new partner?" i asked the teacher and he turned to me and gave me a serious look.

" ok fine but your gonna have to wait until another group wants to switch." he informed and i nodded about to go to my desk when i heard kenji call hisashi-sensai's name.

" hisashi-sensai, can i get a new partner, you see i like alternative but she likes that girly sing about boys hiphop, you know the kind about breakups and dates and stuff. i'm ok with hiphop but i like alternative, so can i get a new partner?" he asked the teacher.

" well were in luck miyaku wants to switch too, you 2 will be partners and the other 2 will be partners." he informed and we nodded.

scene: kenji's house

" WAIT YOU CAN PLAY GUITAR?!!" i shouted, in shock when miyaku told me. she nodded and suggested that she would play guitar and i would sing and we agree.

"ok so you come up with some lyrics and sing them for me once in the beat you want to go with it and i'll compose the  music that fits with my guitar." she informed but i shook my head.

" no just play a tone on the guitar and i'll write lyrics to it." i stated and she nodded.

" oh but we wont get to practice together i have to get home, i'll just record the guitar part on yourphone and you can practice, does that sound good?" she informed the last part a suggestion, i answered with a simple yes and she played what she had for the guitar part and it was perfect for alternative so we agree that, that would be the guitar part. man she is beautiful i'm gonna ask her out tomarrow withthe song, if she gets it. its an indirect way of asking her out, by addressing her as if she was my girlfriend already.

scene: tomarrow in class, time for the performance.

" ok miyaku hit it." i ordered and she nodded begining to play. i then began to sing the lyric i wrote of course i practiced them so much i had them memorized. ( hiphop chick : by forever the sickest kids)

after i finish everyone clapped and hisashi-sensai nodded widely. me and miyaku then went back to our seats and the next group went up.

" hey kenji were you trying to-......" miyaku asked, her face super red.

" ask you out indirectly?... yea" i finished she then looked up at me in shock her face 10 times redder then before. (if even possible.)

"so uh.... will you be my girlfriend?" i asked, looking away with a flushed face sratching the back of my neck nervously.

" yea" she answered, she was smiling but looking away trying not to let me see her flushed face and her big goofy smile.

" hisashi-sensai can i go to the bathroom? i then asked, after the group was done, they were gonna be the last group for the day. he nodded i then ran out the door. into the hall way and started jumping  like an idiot.

" YEEEES, HAHA WOOHOO," i shouted while i jumped, i then began to sing.

" i got the girrrl, i got the girrl, i got the girrl." while doing a dorky dance, i was aware that everyone in the classroom could heard but i didn't care, i could hear them laughing in the classroom. i then re-enter the class.

" did you have fun mr. naki?" hisash-sensai asked laughing still laughing a little after the laughter cut off when i opened the door. i nodded and smiled like a dork, and everyone laughed. well i'm your average class clown.

after school me and miyaku sat on the roof of the school and had a picnic looking at the stars and watching the fireworks go off for new years. right at mid-night i kissed her.

 love is pretty strange, and all i can say is i really love her.
