Soren's Point of View

As Kyra fell unconscious, I grab a sewing needle out of the first aid kit and made my way down to the kitchen, where I threw the needle into a pot of water and set it to boil on the stove. As it was boiling, I went to go get bandages and some cloth and towels to help with the process of fixing up Kyra.

Once the needle is done being sterilized, I grab it and head back upstairs to the room where I left Kyra. I put the tea towel over her mouth in preparation for her screams and put another towel under her arm where the wound is. I put the self dissolving thread through the eye of the needle and pour more vodka over her wound as I do so, she jumps awake and I have to put my hand out to stop her from moving. I carefully grip her arm with one hand and move the needle to her skin with my other.

Tears come to Kyra's eyes and she starts to cry when the needle presses through her flesh and I pull it through.

Once I get Kyra's wound dressed properly, I grab her opposite hand and pull her into a sitting position.

"Stay here for a moment and rest. I need to go find Alejandro and see if I can get a doctor up here to help with an IV drip," I quietly say to Kyra. She nods and closes her eyes.

When I come back upstairs with      Dr. Evans, the gang's doctor, I find Kyra curled up on the bed sleeping. She made sure not to lay on the side with her arm wound.

I go to her and tap her side lightly.

She slowly comes to and smiles at me. Then she frowns. I pull Dr. Evans forward and introduce him to her.

"Hello, Kyra. I am here to see about an IV drip for you. Can please lay out straight on the side of the bed, while I go find a bag of morphine and a hose, please? It would help very much to have you ready so that we can get you immediately put on to the fluids," Dr. Evans turns to me. "Can you find a couple more blankets for her? Her body temperature will start to drop once the morphine is in her bloodstream."

"Of course."
