Soren's Outfit

As I rummage through my clothes, I see a cute flannel shirt that I hadn't worn in ages. I grab that and a black crop tee and some Jean shorts. I run into the bathroom of my dorm and hurry to change because I have only a few minutes left because Soren will be here in a moment to pick me up.

Since I don't have an afternoon class, I can spend the rest of the day with Soren. I rush out the door and down to the sidewalk in front of the dorm. I see Soren's car pull up and I hope in. I turn to see him grinning at me and we roll the windows down.

"So..... Change of plans. We head to see a movie and then maybe go to the park?" He questions.

"Oh.... Okay."

The rest of the car ride is quiet except for the radio playing softly.
When we finally arrive at the theater, we get out and I go to the counter and look at the available movies.

The Prodigy 12:30 pm

Ralph Breaks The Internet 1:30 pm

The Lego Movie 2 12:40 pm

Escape Room 12:20 pm

I decide to go with Escape Room, which starts in about 20 minutes. When I turn around, Soren looks ghostly pale as he glances at what I've picked to watch.

"W-why did you p-pick-k that?"

I smirk at him.

"What? Are you scared?"

"Maybe. But I know you'll protect me."

"Mhmm. Sure. We'll see."

As we exit the theater, I have to drag out a shocked Soren.

"Are you able to drive or do you need me to?"

He shivers slightly. "No, no. I'll be fine."

When we get to the to the exit for the park, Soren drives past it.

"Ummm, you missed the exit for the park." I warily glance at him.

"Yeah, well I lied. We aren't going to the park."

As he says that, we pull into the dirt parking lot of the Carnival. I squeal in excitement. I've always loved the carnival.

I start jumping around, in excitement.

"Okay, settle down. We haven't even left the parking lot. Let's go buy tickets."

I run up to the ticket booth and ask for two tickets. When I go to reach for my purse, I see Soren pull out a twenty dollar bill.

"Are you sure?" I ask him.

"Of course. I'll do almost anything for you." He replies.

"Aww thank you. I love you big bro."
