Beach Trip (Part 2)
Note: Partially inspired by an episode of Beyblade Burst Evolution. Shu and Lui may be OOC.
Kirika and Yuki went to an ice cream shop in the nearest city. Kirika had put on her clothes over her swimsuit so no one would ask questions, though her hair was still damp.
Kirika had a cookies and cream flavoured ice cream with Oreo crumbs while Yuki had lemon and lime ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. The two girls enjoyed the sugary treats.
"This is delicious," said Kirika. "So creamy. I'm totally asking Shu to bring me here."
"I will ask Lui to take me too," said Yuki.
"I thought Lui won't go anywhere where there's people," said Kirika.
"He would do it for me," said Yuki.
Kirika was about to say something, but then she heard a clinging noise. It was a sound she knew too well.

It didn't take long for the teachers to notice Kirika and Yuki's disappearance, and panicked, they called their older brothers. They were not happy.
"What do you mean Yuki is missing!" screamed Lui. "You had one job. To keep her safe!"
"Lui, calm down..." started Shu.
"Calm down? How can I be calm when my little sister is missing?"
"My sister is missing too!" yelled Shu. "You think I'm not worried? I'm just as worried as you are!"
Usually the teachers had to deal with angry parents, not overprotective older brothers. They watched silently as the two Beyblade rivals screamed at each other.

"Where are you going?" asked Yuki. She and Kirika were now in a strange alleyway.
"I heard the sound of a Beyblade," said Kirika.
"Are you sure you weren't hearing things?" asked Yuki.
"I watch people blade every day," said Kirika. "I know what a Beyblade sounds like."
Yuki sighed. "I think you are hearing..."
She leaned against a hidden door and it opened. Yuki fell headfirst, screaming.
"Yuki!" called Kirika. She tried to grab her leg but ended up falling too.
The two girls fell in some underground place. "Ouch!" said Yuki. "That hurt."
"Where are we?" asked Kirika.
The two girls saw a strange blading arena. There were some people training there.
Kirika gasped. "We are... In some secret underground training facility."
"I don't get it," said Yuki. "Why hide themselves?"
"Who are you two?"
The girls turned around to see a middle-aged man looking at them sternly. They suddenly felt frightened.
"Who... Who are you?" asked Kirika.
"Kurt Baratier. I want a word with you."

After the teachers finally calmed down Shu and Lui, they asked them if their sisters had phones. Both of them said no.
"I don't trust Yuki not to control herself with a phone," said Lui.
"Kirika doesn't need a phone," said Shu.
They both looked concerned.
"We have to tell the cops," said Shu.
"No! They will take Yuki away from me!" said Lui.
"No they won't. I will make sure of that," said Shu. "I don't want what happened to me to happen to Kirika."
Lui saw that Shu was serious. "Fine. I hope the girls haven't come to any harm."

"What are your names?" asked Kurt.
"I'm Kirika Kurenai," said Kirika.
"And I'm Miyuki Shirosagi," said Yuki. "Everyone calls me Yuki."
"Oh. Wait a minute. I could have sworn I have heard your surnames before," said Kurt. "Your names sound way too Japanese for you to be local."
The girls were Japanese. They had been conceived and born in Japan, though circumstances had brought them to America.
"Hold on." Kurt looked at Yuki. "You're related to Lui Shirosagi."
Yuki nodded. "He's my big brother."
Kurt took a longer time to examine Kirika. "Hang on. You're related to Red Eye."
"Huh?" asked Kirika. "Red Eye? My brother is Shu Kurenai."
"Oh, so that's his real name," said Kurt. "Thought that his parents hated him for calling him that."
"You're probably confusing him with someone else," said Kirika.
Kurt didn't look convinced. "You really know nothing about your brother, don't you?"
"Mr Baratier, we are so sorry," said Yuki. "Please let us go. We won't trouble you again."
"Wait. Hold on. I'm not finished with..."
But the girls were climbing up the drainpipe they had fallen in.
"Hey! Come back here!" yelled Kurt.
But the girls had seen enough. They were running until they turned a corner and gasped.
Shu and Lui were standing there, looking more furious than they remembered ever seeing them. It was clear that their brothers knew what they had done.
"WHERE ON EARTH HAD YOU BEEN?" yelled Lui. "YUKI, DON'T YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I HAD BEEN?"
"Kirika, you had me worried sick," said Shu. "Don't you know what it's like to receive a call telling me to that you were missing? You could have been kidnapped. Or worse!"
The girls didn't argue. They knew their brothers had every right to be angry. They both bowed. "We're sorry."
"Kirika, you're grounded," said Shu. "I'm taking you home."
"Yuki, don't you ever do that again!" said Lui.
The girls didn't say anything. It wasn't until Shu and Kirika were halfway home that she remembered something Kurt had said.
"Shu, who's Red Eye?"
Shu braked hard and almost crashed. He looked terrified out of his wits. "Why... Why do you ask?"
"I heard about him. This guy... His name was Kurt Baratier and he thought you were him..."
Shu was shaking all over. "Stop! I don't want to talk about it!"
Kirika jumped. She had never seen Shu lose control before. She didn't get why he was so upset.
