Intro: And now for a personal favorite. Pit the angel is the main character from the Kid Icarus series while Viridi is the goddess of nature from Kid Icarus Uprising. These two... I'll just let the proof section explain.

Proof: When the two first met... It was a hate-hate relationship. Viridi, at the time, was bent on destroying humans because they destroy nature. Therefore, Pit began to fight her troops along with the Underworld troops in a three-way war. Then the war became a three-against-one war when the alien Aurum attacked, threatening all of them.

It all started with one little conversation. Pit was being attack by a horde of Aurum troops when The Forces of Nature save him from being swarmed. Then... I'll let the conversation explain itself.

Pit: The Forces of Nature?

Viridi: Don't get the wrong idea, Pit. I'm not here to help you. It's just in my best interest to keep you alive for now.

(The next part of the conversation only happens if you jump on the left grind rail.)

Palutena: Aw, looks like little Miss Flower Pot has a soft spot for Pit.

Pit: Uh, really? 'Cause I don't think you're all that bad either.

Viridi: Shh! Keep your voice down! People are listening! I'm DEFINITELY NOT DOING THIS TO HELP YOU PIT!!

Palutena: Oh really?

Pit: Oh yeah, well... I'm not doing this to help you either! So, there!

Viridi: Ugh! You two are so annoying! This is why I keep trying to kill you!

What I think: I actually got into this because Chuggaaconroy influenced me in his Let's Play of the game, since he ships it. Then I found that conversation while playing the game and I was hooked.
