Other Fairy Tail Ships That I Like
Considering how I've been attached to Fairy Tail lately, the fact that there are SO MANY PAIRINGS, and that I've covered the Big 4, I figured I better talk about the rest of the ships in Fairy Tail. So here are all the other ships in Fairy Tail that I like!
_______________________________
•Elfman Strauss x Evergreen (Elfgreen)
Intro: Behold, the ship that is just as popular as the Big 4 are.
Proof: Aside from the first meeting, every scene you see these two together is proof. At every turn, these two deny any romantic feelings for the other, only convincing other characters (and us) that Elfman and Evergreen are absolutely smitten with each other. These two are the ultimate tsunderes.
And can we talk about how when Elfman was severely injured during the Grand Magic Games, Evergreen fell asleep on his chest waiting for him to wake up? ...Nah, the scene speaks for itself.
What I think: It is literally impossible for someone not to ship this, or at least laugh at their moments. This ship is just the epitome of "JUST KISS ALREADY!!!". I can't help but like it.

•Alzack Connell x Bisca Mulan-Connell (AlBis)
Intro: Behold, the only ship that Trollshima has allowed to become canon.
Proof: They got married and had a kid named Asuka during the 7 year time skip. I'm pretty sure that's all the proof I need.
What I think: This ship is pretty cool, even if the two are minor characters. Besides, I'm pretty sure Asuka ships Nalu...
Good girl.

•Happy x Carla (Cappy)
Intro: What has this world come to that we now ship cats (well, technically Exceeds, but there's hardly a difference)?
Proof: It's basically reverse Gruvia, if Gruvia were cats. It's safe to say that Happy has been pretty smitten with Carla ever since the Oración Seis Arc.
What I think: I think this is my least favorite of all the pairings that I ship in Fairy Tail. Nothing against it, but it just feels weird to be shipping cats, so... yeah.

•Sting Eucliffe x Yukino Agria (StingYu)
Intro: I won't lie, I wasn't all too aware of this ship at first. Then I became aware of the manga. And I was then hooked.
Proof: There's not a ton of proof for these two, but what we do have is pretty good. Sting was willing to fight Kagura (freaking Kagura!!!) to get Yukino back to Sabertooth.
And then... there was this little gem in the manga when Sting was doubting his role as Sabertooth's master:
Yukino slaps him, and then proceeds to scold him about having doubts. Sting is snapped back into his senses, and then apologized to her for making her hand hurt from slapping him. That is adorable and hilarious at the same time.
And while this is going on, Rogue and Minerva are over here, like:
And I'm like: They know.
What I think: Sting and Yukino are pretty cool characters that have good chemistry when given the chance. It also helps in Sting's case, because he's voiced by Michael Jones, the guy who voices Sun Wukong in RWBY.
Plus, the ship gets extra points when another one of my ships seem to ship it... speaking of which...

•Rogue Cheney x Minerva Orland (Ronerva)
Intro: Well... preparing myself for massive amounts of hatred.
Proof: Okay, I'm gonna be completely honest. I don't know a whole lot about moments between these two. I know that they have some chemistry, since Minerva apparently had a redemption arc. I haven't seen it, but I'm interested.
What I think: Everything for this section is in the proof section.

•Zeref Dragneel x Mavis Vermilion (Zervis)
Intro: Well... this ship is kinda dead... sorta... I guess... I mean, Mavis is dead, but she still roams around like a ghost and can only be seen by members of Fairy Tail... with Zeref as the only exception.
Proof: People who have not watched Fairy Tail would look at this ship at first glance and go, "Aw, that's cute. What's wrong with this?" and then I will inform them that Zeref is the main villain of the franchise. Yes, that precious nugget who must be protected is the main antagonist. Though, he's not like any antagonist we've seen before.
*Spoilers for those unaware of Zeref's origins*
Zeref Dragneel had a family once, including his parents and his younger brother, Natsu. However, his family was massacred and Zeref took the loss HARD. So what did he do? Using black magic, he revived his brother as a dormant demon. But because he committed a taboo, he was stricken with a curse; a death curse to be more precise. He became immortal, but the curse had an... interesting way of working.
See, the curse activates at random times, and the more the accursed wants to kill, the less the curse works. But the less the afflicted wants to kill, the more the curse works. And since Zeref doesn't want to harm anybody, the curse hits harder than ever. Any living thing within the vicinity dies instantly; animals, plants, trees, people, everything.
But things became a bit brighter for Zeref once he met Mavis, who was trying to make a new guild, soon to be named "Fairy Tail". Mavis stumbled upon Zeref while he was taking a bath (Fairy Tail, ladies and gentlemen!) and befriended him after a few minutes, despite his warnings. Zeref taught her and her team magic before leaving.
They meet again approximately ten years later, and since then, the Fairy Tail Guild had been founded and Mavis had been cursed with a similar curse that had been given to Zeref. She and Zeref have a light conversation before he revealed to her who he was: The Black Wizard.
While normally someone would be scared and possibly run away, Mavis just kinda... didn't care. She said that the stories she heard about him didn't seem true now, even though Zeref tried to convince her otherwise. Though after more talking, Zeref managed to scare her off, no doubt only wanting anyone he cared about away from him.
After a close friend of Mavis died, Mavis blamed herself for it and ran off, bumping into Zeref yet again a year later. Mavis was thinking some pretty dark/suicidal thoughts, asking Zeref to kill her, but he said he couldn't because of their curses. He starts detailing his "evil plan", but Mavis sees right past all of that. She sees him for who he really is. And she feels a relatable sadness torwards his suffering, helping bring her out of her own.
Mavis breaks down, crying in his arms, promising that they will stay together. A teary eyed Zeref admitted how he had never loved anyone this much before, and the two share a kiss. Unfortunately... they underestimated the curse.
Mavis dies. Their kiss killed her. This act of love between the two wizards with the curse was the highest contradiction of its power. This caused the effects of the curse to grow far more potent in light of this love, able to take away even the immortal life it granted. Though Mavis was supposed to be unable to die, she seemingly perished, leaving Zeref to cry over her body.
Mavis's ghost/spirit became a concept and the two reunited after the Grand Magic Games... but it wasn't a pleasant reunion.
What I think: And that's pretty much as far as I've gotten with these two in Fairy Tail! Protect these two at all costs.
All Zeref wants to do is die. That's the entire reason he commits villainous acts; because he hopes that something will get Natsu mad enough to kill Zeref. News flash! If you want Natsu to kill you, go after Lucy. That'll get him pretty ticked off.

And that's pretty much all I can think of right now! Till next time guys!
