My Hero Academia is, without any worry of backlash, a fantastic show. The plot is consistently interesting, almost all of the characters have their own unique powers/Quirks and personalities, and the ships that I'm into are glorious. Even though I've already talked about my two favorites, I feel the need to further talk about them again, as well as the multitude of others I ship. So without further ado, let's see what new things I have to say!

Izuku Midoriya x Ochako Uraraka (Izuocha)

Ah, the main pairing itself. This ship is so freaking sweet, I often feel the need to brush my teeth. You don't really need to look far to see any moments. They were almost immediate friends (even with Midoriya's embarrassment), and it's not until Season 2 where a crush is revealed. And you know what? That part is interesting too, because Uraraka is the one with the crush. After everything that's been going down, the typical thing would've been for Midoriya to have a crush on Uraraka, and for her to be hopelessly oblivious. But since this show's actually interesting, the roles are reversed.

Uraraka's crush on Deku is one of the most adorable things I have ever witnessed in anime, right up there with Hinata's crush on Naruto. I know a lot of people don't ship it, as they see the concept as "too cliche", since it's a main hero x main heroine ship, but unfortunately for them, I am a sucker for that cliche. There's no doubt that it's endgame, so I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy it until then. But it's only my second favorite ship in the show. This is my favorite.

Shoto Todoroki x Momo Yaoyorozu (Todomomo)

Ah yes, Todomomo, the ship that's constantly praised by the fanbase and rejected by the fanbase at the same time. But keep in mind, probably the only reason it's rejected is because it's a straight ship for Todoroki. It's also one of those ships where you have to squint to see it for the most part, but it's freaking great, and a lot of fans ship it. Especially me, since I'm also a sucker for subtlety in romance. It wasn't until Season 2 Episode 22 that we finally got a legitimately good moment for the two, where it was revealed that Todoroki was the only person who voted for her in the class president election. Aaaaaand there hasn't exactly been a major moment since then.

Luckily, the mangaka, Kohei Horikoshi, seems to like it as well. Since the two are often described as "aesthetically pleasing", Horikoshi seems to have a slight condition which I call the "Ichiruki Tite Kubo Effect", where the mangaka just loves to draw the two characters together. Look up any kind of advertising/merchandise for the show with multiple characters, and you will most likely see Todoroki and Momo right next to each other. Plus, from the way things seem to look in the manga currently, the two might actually get another major moment. They have to eventually.

Oh, and the anime knows people love these two as well, since there are more of these small moments in the show, like more dialogue exchanges and the infamous disguises stuff. I just love this ship to death.

Denki Kaminari x Kyoka Jiro (Kamijiro)

Oh, these two. Yet another situation in which I'm a sucker for: an insult-based relationship. There's not a whole lot I can say about this one, so I'll keep it brief. It's one of those situations where the smart girl falls for the lovable idiot. Usually when Kaminari acts up, it's Jiro who either puts him in his place or just flat out laughs at him, mainly when he discharges too much electricity. Other than that, the two get along well and don't seem to dislike each other. It's just another aesthetically pleasing ship that's really popular.

Eijiro Kirishima x Mina Ashido (Kirimina)

Ooooh, you know I'm in trouble with the fandom when I bring this one up. But hey, let's just ignore them and enjoy this ship. Now, normally I don't really ship these two's dynamic, aka the "childhood friends" dynamic. I don't know why, that kind of thing usually doesn't appeal to me. But this is one of the rare exceptions. Kirishima wasn't always the manly character we see now; he used to be rather timid until he met Mina. And once she helped raise his spirits, they became best friends, or, as they call themselves, Horn Buddies.

While these two don't have a lot of moments outside of their origin story, it's still pretty cute. Plus, I always seem to be a sucker for the "red and pink" dynamic. First Power Rangers, then Voltron, now My Hero Academia?! Geez, what's next? But oh well. Bottom line, this ship is adorable and needs more positive attention.

Katsuki Bakugo x Camie Utsushimi (Bakucamie)

(gasps) A straight ship for Bakugo?!?! How dare I?!?! But yeah, other than Kachako, this is really the only other famous straight ship for him, romantic or platonic. And that's really sad, but let's get into this great ship.

Let's get into the main reason I like it: Camie can actually tolerate him. Their interactions are freaking great, and I happily accept their relationship as of now, aka the BrOTP. I'm just hoping for more in the future. It's one of those ships where I can just go "I honestly don't care if you're endgame at this point, just interact more!!". Luckily, they did seem to get more interactions later on down the line, so it's pretty freaking awesome, or "lit", as Camie might say.

Also, she's the only person who's ever made Bakugo genuinely laugh. That is all.

Mashirao Ojiro x Toru Hagakure (Ojitoru)

Sometimes, it's those background ships you just gotta appreciate. And these two are about as background as the main cast can get.

To most of us, it was pretty obvious that these two had chemistry ever since they were paired up for All Might's Heroes vs. Villains test. And they've continued to act close ever since. Not really too much to say after that, they're background characters after all. I just think they're cute.

Tenya Iida x Mei Hatsume (Iihatsu)

Why this one? Because it's a guilty pleasure. Yes, we'll be extremely lucky if they even get in the same panel or frame together again, but I don't freaking care.

Tokoyami Fumikage x Tsuyu Asui (Tokotsuyu)

This ship also falls into the "I don't care if you're endgame, just interact more" category that I placed Bakucamie in. I honestly think one of the reasons why it shot up in popularity for a bit was because of their team up in the final exam (conveniently in the same episode Todomomo first popped up). Another reason could be because they both became really popular characters, Tsuyu gaining popularity in Season 1, and Tokoyami gaining popularity in Season 2. Plus being the two classmates in Class 1-A with animal traits certainly helps the aesthetic.

Like I said, not totally on board, but I do like these two enough just to want to watch them interact more.

Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu x Itsuka Kendo (Tetsuken)

And now, let's switch from Class 1-A to Class 1-B. These two may not have that many moments... but you can easily become trash for these two, as their first moment popped out of nowhere in Season 3 Episode 5. I honestly half-expected to learn that these two have been close friends since even before UA, seeing as how well they work together (and just to jokingly give Tetsutetsu another parallel to Kirishima), but nope! They just naturally work well together, and it's amazing.

As a side, Tetsutetsu really respects Kendo, and holds her in high regard as the class president. He's practically a Kendo fanboy. I just love this ship to pieces.

Shinji Nishiya/Kamui Woods x Yu Takeyama/Mt. Lady (Mt.Kamui)

Remember when I talked about background ships earlier? Well, here's the more obscure version. I suppose you can blame H20FLAME for giving me the final push into supporting this. These two... did not start out as friends. In fact, it all started with Mt. Lady... "stealing his win", as you might say. But somehow, these two evolved into friends, and then perhaps something more...

Shota Aizawa/Eraserhead x Emi Fukukado/Ms. Joke (Eraserjoke)

You know a ship is gonna be great when a character is introduced in one episode, and the shippers go wild that very same episode. Because that's pretty much what happened when Ms. Joke was added to the cast. Some of her first words in the series, aimed at Aizawa, were "Let's get hitched!". I swear, this woman is amazing. I suppose it's one of those "cheerful character x angsty character" ships. It's usually not something I'm always on board with, but in these two's case, I'm all for it.

Plus, Emi is played by Abridged Android 18 in the dub, so I literally could not hate her if I tried.

Toshinori Yagi/All Might x Inko Midoriya (Toshinko)

I... I can't think of a good enough reason for how I can ship this one... I mean, I really do like it... it's just that... there's one pretty big obstacle in the way of me being fully on board: Izuku's dad. He's practically nonexistent in this series so far, but Horikoshi did say at some point that we'll meet him. And if he's cool, I'm bailing. I think I'm only interested in this ship is because Dad Might...
