Intro: When it comes to anime, Sword Art Online has become iconic for reasons beyond my comprehension. Insert rant about how SAO sucks here. There's literally nothing else I can say that hasn't been said before about how SAO is a terrible series. The first arc was at least a little bit okay, but still had many, many flaws. And it all went downhill from there.

Luckily, then along came a little abridged series called SAO Abridged by Something Witty Entertainment, who not only made a hilarious series, but also fixed the series and made it overall better than the original series, something they didn't have to do, but they did it.

Proof: SAO Abridged made Kirisuna, which, to the show's credit, was at least a somewhat a good romance, into the perfect example of a real teenage romance, which is what the characters are supposed to be representing.

Abridged Kirito is a complete and total douchebag. On the first day of the game's release, he doesn't spend the day leveling or questing, no, he spends it mocking BallsDeep69 for not being able to kill a boar.

Abridged Asuna is a disguised yandere. She pretends like she's nice to people, mainly due to the fact that everyone gets very terrified of her when she shows her true self... except for Kirito.

These two are perfect for each other, as weird as that sounds. It's a freaking abridged series, but it somehow made a relationship more believable that in the original. And Yui... dear Lord, Yui... Episode 10 hit us in the feels so hard.
