Intro: Speaking of canon ships that killed a popular ship, here's Kataang! And by the killed ship, I mean Zutara. Please understand, unlike Korrasami, I have no issue with Zutara. I might actually ship it if I didn't like this one so much.

Proof: As said before, this ship is canon. Aang began crushing on Katara sometime in Book 1 and his feelings only grew. And they officially get together at the end of Book 3. Just the fact that it's canon is proof enough.

What I think: When I first watched the show, I didn't really think much about this relationship. But looking back on it, I really started to like it. And even though I have no issue with Zutara, I'm happy this ship came instead.

(Fun Fact: The writers of the show actually debated on whether they should go with Kataang or Zutara. Just goes to show that Zutara did not go down without a fight.)
