Waking up again, but not as good as always, because you had a dream, or better: A nightmare. Of Giovanni. But you didn't mind: You were going to Kanto, together with Lillie! And you will get the chance to get to know Red and Blue! You packed up: Your cap, your bag, and the only Pokémon you took with you were Nebby and Incineroar. The others were in the PC box, for real problems. You took 500.000 Pokédollars with you too, just in case. You practised some guitar and went training, no Pokémon training, just fitness. Your mother greeted you, and she went to the baker this time, to your surprise:
"Goodmorning, Y/n! Want some pastries?"
You smiled:
"Yeah, I'm down to clown! Wow, so many! We are never going to eat it all! But we'll wait 'till Lillie is up too."
She nodded, said:"Of course!" and asked:
"And, what do you think about your journey?"
"I think it's one of the best ideas ever! I only fear one thing: It's Kanto, the place where Team Rocket's base was..."
She lays a hand on your shoulder:
"Y/n, don't worry about them. You're way better than any of them, and there is a big chance you'll never even see a single grunt there!"
You nod, you're beginning to sound like a coward now, you think for yourself:
"You're right... I have my Pokémon by my side."
"And you have your friends! Lillie and those Red and Blue guys."
"When do we leave?"
You hear a voice from behind you:
"In a few hours already, goodmorning!"
You feel a hug, and see Lillie's face next to yours.
"Goodmorning, Lillie!"
"Ready for the journey, Y/n? I am at least! We just need to say goodbye to Gladion and mom, Hau and Hala, and to Kukui, and we'll be gone!"
Your mom smiles:
"Well, you can wish them goodbye all at once! I've arranged a kind of little goodbye party!"
Lillie exclaims:
"That's amazing! I love it! When do they come?"
"Well, they come-"
Ding dong
"That would be the door" You say ironicly. You sat up and walked towards the door, when suddenly the door nearly touched your face! A happy man walked in:
"Alola, cousin!!! Oh sorry, I just walked in, as usual!"
"Alola, Kukui. That's allright! And where's Burnet?"
A voice from behind the door answered:
"I'm here! Alola!"
And a lot of other voices yelled all together:
"Alola!!!"
It were all your friends!
You ate breakfast all together: Lusamine and Gladion, Kukui and Burnet, Hau and Hala, Mallow, Lana and Kiawe were there, and even Samson Oak had been invited!"
You gave a little speech while you were all eating together just for fun:
"Friends, I'm glad you did all come today. All thanks to my mom, 'cause without her, you wouldn't be here now. Lillie and I are leaving to Kanto soon, but I wouldn't have left without saying goodbye to you guys! I just wish to thank you all for coming, and for being there for me when I needed you. So, thank you!"
It was a pretty bad speech, but you never gave one before, and you didn't mind it was bad: The message came through, and that was most important. You had breakfast for a very long time, it was amazing. But the clock ticks on, time passes, and soon the 'party' was over. Lillie and you had to leave for the ferry. You kissed your mom goodbye:
"I'll be back as soon as possible."
She nodded:
"I know, son. Now go and make me proud! And don't leave Lillie alone, never."
"Never! Goodbye mom."
"Goodbye, Y/n."
You turned over to Lillie to see if she was ready, and of course she was!
"Let's go then! Goodbye mom, thanks for letting me stay here!" She said to your mom.
She even said "mom"!
She smiled:
"You're always welcome here, Lillie, you know that. Byebye!"
With those words, Lillie and you left for the marina, where you found Red and Blue, and the last one greeted you immediately:
"Y/n! We're glad you're coming with us too! We're also proud of the fact that such a kind person will be staying in our humble abode!" He joked and continued:
"But all joking aside, I'm glad to have you by our side. Team Rocket seems to be a threat once again, so we need all the trainers we can get! And you're really kind too! We're glad to help you and Lillie on your journey, isn't that right, Red?"
"....."
"Will you ever say something, mate? ... Anyways, let us leave this beautiful region then!"
Lillie grabs your hand:
"Come on, Y/n, let's get going!"
You turn around for one second, to see your beloved Alola just once again, and prayed to Arceus that nothing bad would happen to it while you were away. Then you let Lillie lead you to the boat, sat down next to her and Blue and prepared for long waiting. You were talking with Lillie, chitchatting really, and suddenly you remembered your question for Blue (and Red, but he doesn't answer much anyway):
"Hey Blue, I might be mistaken, but aren't you the Kanto champion?"
"I am, actually! And Red here is-"
You finish his words:
"The one who beat team Rocket the first time!"
"He is!"
"I knew it! Well, I'm honored then, being able to travel with such legends!"
He smirks:
"You're not the only one who should be honored, for I am sitting next to a colleague!"
You are surprised:
"How did you know?"
"I was sitting in a bar, next to an Alolan native. He was very kind and I kinda telled my story and all, and he asked me if I were ever going back to Kanto. I said I was soon, with Red, Y/n and Lillie. When I mentioned your name, he jumped up and said with cheer: "That's our champion!", so yeah... It was a village elder , from Seafolk Village."
You smile:
"Oh yeah, Lillie and I met him on our journey!"
"Oooh journeys, I love journeys! Tell me everything!"
You smiled and began your story, which took long, but so did the boat trip anyway.

*Timeskip*

Lillie made some suggestions now and then, and finally the story was over:
"And it all ends when Lillie goes to Kanto! That's it I guess!"

He smiled and looked deeply into your eyes, thinking:
I see a lot of grief in his eyes...
"That was a thrilling story, very thrilling indeed! Even Red and I didn't have an adventure like that!"
You blush and feel honoured: such an important and famous person just said you were like... as important and famous as him!
"Mmmh I don't think so! Anyways, tell me about your adventures and about Kanto!"
Blue began to tell, and Lillie and you listened attentively...

*Timeskip*

A loud sound nearly blows up your ear: The boat let you know you've arrived! Lillie grabs your hand:
"Come on, Y/n, let me bring you back to your homeland!"
A woman walks up to you two and greets you:
"Welcome to Kanto, young ones! I do always like to see arriving young couples here! Do you want a map of Kanto?"
Lillie blushes and says a little bit irritated:
"We're not a couple! But yeah, I'd like a map, thank you!"
"Oh, I'm sorry! And you're welcome!"
You hear Blue laughing behind you:
"I thought they were a couple too first, haha!"
The woman recognized him and Red:
"

Holy Arceus! Mr. Red and Blue! It is an honour to have you both here!"
He laughs again:
"One of that couple is a Champion too!" He says pointing at you two.
The woman hesitates:
"The blonde girl?"
Now it's your time to laugh:
"Haha, no, it's me, although she would probably be able to beat me with an even team!"
You walk off, laughing and still talking about Kanto.
Blue thought it was time to go home:
"Let's fly over to Pallet Town, where our house is! You and Lillie can fly on Charizard!"
And so you did, with Lillie's arms around you again.
You arrived at Pallet Town, which changed in the space of time you were away, and wasn't the same as you remembered: It has become bigger, and it has expanded with 10 houses or such since then. Blue jumps off his Pidgeot:
"I present to you: my house!"
Blue's house was pretty smal for a Champion, but that factor made it so amazingly cosy! It was very well decorated.
Blue continues, and gives you a house tour:
"So this is the fireplace, you can use it whenever you want... And now, let's go upstairs!"
This house had stairs, which yours didn't have.
"This is the bathroom, there's a bath and a shower. And this is your room, you've got to sleep together in one room 'cause we've not got many rooms, I hope it's not a problem?"
He looks at you, but you look at Lillie, and she decides:
"It is not, or is it, Y/n?"
You shake your head:
"It is not a problem indeed!"
Blue smiles:
"Great! Now, I've got to go to my league, have fun! I'll be back this evening, and I'll make supper!"
You felt like you were on holidays:
"Awesome! And Red?"
"Red stays with you, of course! He's very chatty!" He winks.
"Ok, we'll chill a bit here! Best of luck!"
"Thanks!" And he went off with this word.
Lillie lays a hand on your shoulder:
"Y/n, can you believe it? We're officialy in Kanto, safe and well! Those gym leaders won't stand a chance!"
You nod:
"They won't, not against me, nor against you! Perhaps there are some Pokémon here to catch, shall we go seeking?"
Lillie nods, and Red came along too.
You were exploring Pallet Town, when you hear a strange male voice next to you:
"We can go to the right to Oak's lab to get your starter, Y/n."
Surprisingly, it was Red who spoke.
"Red?! I thought you didn't speak!"
He laughs:
"I'm just teasing Blue a bit! It is true that I don't often speak, only with people I really trust, like you guys, and Blue, but it's just funny to hear him say that I don't speak much."
His voice was very deep and male, you liked it. You arrived at Oak's lab:
"Who's there?" A weird voice. Suddenly Oak approaches you:
"AH, if it isn't Y/n and Lillie! Samson told me about you and your journey. I would be glad to be of any help! I've already got the chance to meet and help this beautiful friend of yours, Lillie, but we haven't met before! Do you want a Charmander or a Bulbasaur?"
You smile, the rhyme Oak used in his last sentence amused you, and it reminded you of his brother.
"Hello, Professor, I'm glad to meet you! And I'll go with Bulbasaur, thank you very much!"
He laughs, a weird sound:
"No thanks, it has been an honour to meet you! Now go train a bit with your new friend and complete the Kanto Pokédex!"
"I will, thank you, Professor."
Red stayed with Oak, because he hasn't seen him in a long time. As you walk outside to a training spot, you come across 2 other people: also a boy and a girl. The boy had black hair and a Pikachu on his shoulder, the girl had blue hair and a white cap. When you passed by, the boy spoke to you:
"Hey, are you trainers?"
The girl next to him quiets him:
"Ash, don't ask that to random strangers! Let's move on."
But you wanted to answer the boy, apparently called Ash:
"We are! We are on our way to go training somewhere, do you know a good spot perhaps?"
He smiles:
"I do, just walk straight on, 'till the crossroads, and then to the right, there are flat fields!"
"Thank you very much!"
You shake hands, and he introduces himself and his... girlfriend?
"I'm Ash, and this is Dawn" He says. She walks a bit forward, and he puts his arm around her. You shake her hand:
"Nice to meet you, ... ?" She says.
"Y/n, and this here is Lillie. We're from Alola. Nice to meet you too, Dawn! May I ask, are you a couple?"
Dawn begins to blush instantly, which was cute:
"We are, are you?"
This time it is Lillie who answers:
"We aren't! You're a nice couple, though! You match perfectly!"
"Thank you!" Dawn's still blushing.
Ash takes over:
"And this is Pikachu, he is the best friend ever!"
You greet it, and he continues:
"Hey, we are going home, but could we meet again tomorrow , at noon perhaps?"
A strange proposal, but you accepted:
"Yeah sure, why not!"
"Awesome! See you tomorrow, Lillie and Y/n!"
You said goodbye, and so did Lillie. You went training the whole evening, 'till 11 PM.

*Timeskip*

"We're home!" You shout as you open the door, and a delicious smell reaches your nose. Blue walks up to you:
"Ah, Lillie and Y/n, what took you so long? Doesn't matter. Anyways, I prepared Köttbullar, a Hoenn recipe! It is delicious, I must say!"
"I must say... that it smells delicious already! Get on with it, I'm down!"
Lillie, Blue, Red and you ate all together, it was loads of fun, Red didn't speak when Blue was present, but he did give you a wink.
Blue kept teasing Lillie whenever he was able to, and when we went to our room, he teased her again:
"Goodnight, cuties!"
You didn't mind he said such things, but Lillie did: She stuck her tongue out to him, and you laughed because of that. She laid down in her bed, and you gave her a kiss on the forehead:
"Goodnight, Lillie."
You walked to your own bed, laid down, and closed your eyes to sleep, but after a minute, you heard her ask:
"Y/n?"
"Yes, Lillie?"
"Do you like Red and Blue?"
A bit of a random question, but you answered it:
"I do! Don't you?"
"I do too... Do you like Kanto?"
Another random question:
"... I surely do! Lillie, what's bothering you?"
She's quiet for a moment, but replies, still quietly:
"I... I thought... that with all these new friends... Red, Blue, Ash and Dawn... We aren't going to spend much time together anymore like before..."
You were surprised by this answer, you didn't expect that out of nowhere... To be honest, you didn't talk with her as much as you used to since seeing Red and Blue.
She apparently dislikes it when you don't talk to her often... A good sign!
You feel bad though, and you search for words:
"Lillie... these friends... they are way less important to me than you are! I will spend more time with you, I promise... That promise starts tomorrow!"
She blushed, which you couldn't see in the darkness:
"That's kind of you to say, Y/n... I..."
You shush her kindly:
"Shhh, you don't have to say anything, get some sleep now, tomorrow is a new day, and we'll be training hard."
She smiled, which you also couldn't see:
"Night night, Y/n."
"Goodnight, Lillie."
You stayed awake for a long time, thinking about Lillie's answer, and about what you just said. But you heard Lillie's breathing in a few minutes, which was also a good thing.
What is going to come next? What about Team Rocket? What about Red and Blue, about Ash and Dawn? What about Lillie and me?
You fell asleep and slept well, untill late in the morning...

So here it is, Chapter 9! I made it an extra long one, because going to Kanto is a special thing! (And I don't want to make 2 chapters about one day, yet XD)
