Let's get on with the story!

The sound of your phone interrupted your walk. Pallet was nearly in sight.
You pick up the phone:
"Hello?"
"Sweetie! It's so good to hear your voice!"
It was mom.
"Oh hi mom! How are you?"
"Fine, but that doesn't matter! How are yóú?"
"Everything is going amazing!"
"And how is Lillie? Is she alright?"
"She can tell you herself, she's listening!"
"Alright, but first: did you have any problems there?"
I'm not going to tell her.
"No, everything is fine! And Alola? Any problems there?"
She laughs:
"No! Hau is doing great as "Champion"! He's unbeaten, and he managed to change Team Skull a bit! They're doing no one harm and even help people sometimes!"
You laugh:
"Really?! Well, that's crispy news!"
"Also, there's news of a rich, famous guy, visiting Aether Paradise and Miss Lusamine! He's called James or something."
"Hmmm... never heard of him. Report the news to me if anything happens, okay?"
"Of course, darling! Have fun there, alright? Can I talk with Lillie now?"
You laugh again:
"Wellwell, I'm not needed any longer? Fine!" You say joking, "goodbye, mom, love you!"
You hand over the phone to Lillie:
"G'luck!"
She smiles:
"Hello? Hi, mom! How are you? I'm doing fine, thanks! So... uhm... okaaay?"
She walks away from you, giving a wink, and talks on. You stay where you are.
Probably discussing girly things. Oh mom...
After a few minutes, Lillie came back:
"Haha, sorry Y/n! Your mother asked me if I could talk with her in private!"
You smile:
"It's nothing. What was it she wanted to talk with you about?"
She blushes and smiles:
"Well, she wanted to know everything about you, about me, how I'm feeling, and about you and m-"
"About me aaaand?"
She blushes even harder:
"About you."
"Well, mothers can be too worried sometimes... often... always." You correct yourself, laughing.

You reached Pallet Town and ate all together in Blue's house.
You have something on your mind:
"Alright guys, I have an idea..."
Gladion nods:
"Go on."
"Well, tonight's the party, and I was thinking... perhaps we could leave a bit earlier, and go to the Sevii islands for the rest of the night. We can relax, swim..."
Blue sighs:
"But I like partying!"
You smile:
"I'm not really a party guy..."
Gladion stands up:
"I think it's a great idea. I've always wanted to see the islands, and I don't think we'll ever go there otherwise. Who's in?"
Everyone raised their hand, and finely Blue did too:
"Alright, you got me! Let's pack our swimming gear then."

You were ready packing, and you go sit outside. You release your Pokémon and give them some food:
"Here you go, guys! Enjoy!"
Suddenly, a Metapod approaches you and the food. You smile:
"Hello there, buddy! Hungry too, aren't you? Guys, make some space, and let Metapod eat."
Raichu steps aside, Metapod makes a rather cute, happy sound and begins to eat.
A Metapod in my team would be OK, actually... Butterfrees can be really strong and sweaty!
"Hey, Metapod? Would you like to join my team?"
It shakes it's body, in what appears to be a nod. You pick up a Pokéball, and it jumps against it. Triple jiggle, and caught! You send it out again:
"That's the spirit, Metapod!"
He makes that one sound again.
Perhaps I can give it to Lillie...
You send everyone back into their Pokéballs, take back the food and go back inside. Everyone was chatting with each other: Gladion and Cynthia were talking about the Sevii Islands, Ash and Dawn were having another discussion about their relationship while Daisy was listening to Red and Blue, who were having a heated discussion about meatballs. Yes, Red was talking because he felt he could win the discussion.
You raise your voice, which you don't do often:
"Alright, guys! Ready to go to the party?"
Everyone looks at you:
"Yeah!"
You don't see Lillie:
"Wait... where's Lillie?"
"Here I am!"
She comes down the stairs, looking like a goddess. She's wearing the dress you bought her back in Alola:
"Lillie... you look stunning!" You say, bending your knee, "my ice princess! I'm at your command!" You exclaim, laughing.
She blushes:
"That's kind of you to say, Y/n!"
She helps you to get up and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek:
"Come on, my knight! Take me to the party!"
You give her your arm, both laughing. Gladion smiles, and you all left to the party.

Lillie pulls your arm and shows you a poster:
"Look Y/n!!! Our very own DJ Leo is here! I love that guy and his Dugtrio!"
Gladion sighs:
"I hate that guy and his Dugtrio. Let's go to the Sevii Islands already..."
That made everyone laugh.
You go inside and you all dance for a while. DJ Leo was pretty good, and even Gladion got the beat. You ordered drinks for everyone and paid them all.
You and Lillie sit down for a moment with your drinks. Lillie sighs:
"I love this party, Y/n! It's everything I hoped it'd be!"
"I love it too, although I can't wait to chill on the Sevii Islands!"
Right as you're saying that, Leo sets in a slow.
Lillie grabs your hand and locks eyes:
"C'mon, Y/n! Let's dance!"
You wait a second:
"Lillie... I'm sorry, but... I'm not a dancer..."
She smiles:
"I'll teach you! Let me lead you!"
You laugh and let her lead you towards the dance floor:
"Now, Y/n, you have to stand like this... yes, and then put your hand around me, like that, yeah, and then..."
You got the hang of it, and it was actually pretty nice! Lillie's body felt warm, and you liked the feeling being so close to Lillie gave you. After a few seconds, she lay her head on your shoulder, and so did you. She sighs:
"This is amazing, I wish this would last forever, Y/n..."
It felt like forever, although it was only a few minutes. When Leo starts his DJ music again, Lillie sighs:
"Thanks, Leo, that was awesome! Thank you too, Y/n!" She says, giving you a rather long kiss on your cheek. You smile and blush:
"No, I have to thank yóú! It was amazing, and you learned me how to slow!"
You both laugh and get back to your seats, where Ash was standing, alone...
"Ash! What's wrong?" You ask him.
He sighs:
"Well... Dawn asked me for a slow, but... when I declined, she asked me why. Then I told her how I felt, and that I made a mistake starting a relation with her, and that I still loved Serena, and..."
You sigh:
"Well done, lad. Where's Dawn now?"
He looks down to the ground:
"Outside."
"Where?"
He shakes his head:
"I don't know..."
You turn over to Lillie:
"Would you excuse me? I have to search Dawn. Could you stay here with Ash?"
She gives you a quick hug:
"Of course. Stay safe, you never know, with Team Rocket around. Find her, Y/n."
You hug her back, and then run outside:
"DAWN?"
"Y-yes? Y/n, is that you?"
Dawn was sitting on a small bench, under a large tree, covered in the dark.
"Dawn, what happened?" You say, walking over to her, "can I sit next to you?"
"Of course." She says, and she lays her head on your shoulder, which honestly, you didn't like.
But I can't make her even more sad now, can I?
"Y/n, it's terrible... you know that Serena I told you about, well... Ash said me that he still loves her, and that he made a big mistake starting a relationship with me. The jerk..."
You put your hand on her shoulder:
"Heey, c'mon. Ash is not a jerk! Think about all those amazing moments you spent together!"
She begins to cry.
Well, Y/n, well done! That was really smooth!
"I know you like him, Y/n... you'd never hurt a woman like that, would you?"
You were sure about this one:
"I wouldn't have the balls, no."
She smiles sadly:
"Perhaps... perhaps I chose the wrong person to love as well. There was a far better lover, one more kind..." She says, as she brings her head closer to yours slowly.
You back out, also slowly:
"Dawn, calm down, you're not yourself."
She smiles:
"I am." She whispers, still bringing her head closer.
You shake your head:
"No, you're not. But I understand. You've been through much in a short time. And thereby, Dawn, you know I cannot do what you want."
A tear falls on the ground:
"What does she have that I don't have?"
You smile and think:
"We've been through much together. I probably wouldn't have finished my Alolan journey without her. I wouldn't be anyone without her."
She's still crying:
"But I can give you those things too if you want!"
You smile, a sad one:
"That's the problem, Dawn, don't you see? You don't wánt those things... they just... háppen to you."
You wipe away a tear from her cheek:
"Hey, chin up, keep that smile on. Oh, come here! Stop your crying." You say, as you open your arms. She jumps right into them. You go on:
"This is all I can give you, Dawn. Remember that."
She smiles:
"I will."
You laugh:
"That's the spirit!"
You put your arm around her:
"Let's go to the others, we are going to the Sevii Islands!"
You came back inside, and Lillie runs towards you immediately:
"Dawn! I was worried!" She says, hugging her. Gladion appears too, and acted very social for his being:
"Dawn! What happened? Heeey, it's alright!"
He even hugged her, and he took her apart for a minute or two, or three, or more. Lillie hugs you too:
"I'm so glad you found her! And she's so calmed down, how did you do that?"
You smile:
By saying that I loved yóú.
"By only telling the truth."
She laughs:
"Talking in mysteries now, are we?"
You laugh too:
"We are. Let us leave to one of the Sevii Islands. I can't wait."
You gathered everyone and flew to one of the Islands, Lillie and you on Charizard, the others on Red, Blue's, and Gladion's flying Pokémon. They collected a few flying Pokémon at home. Soon the islands appeared in sight.

"Here we are, here we are!" You shout, jumping off Charizard and helping Lillie to get off as well. You found a large beach, with no one in the surroundings. Blue immediately pulls his shirt off:
"Time to splash! Who's coming with me?"
Gladion, Red, Ash and Daisy volunteered. You thought otherwise:
"Uhm, guys? I think that behind that hill there, there's an even more beautiful spot..."
Blue turns around:
"Go and take a look! If you don't come back in an hour, we'll come searching for you!"
You laugh:
"Can't wait!"
He puts his thumb in the air:
"Smell you later!" He shouts, and dives into the cold water. Red, Daisy, Ash and Gladion followed him.
You look at Dawn:
"Is that alright, Dawn?"
She nods:
"Yeah, I'll do some sunbathing."
That makes you laugh:
"Uhm, Dawn, I hate to correct you, but... it's dark. It's night. You can do some moonbathing."
She blushes, but Cynthia jumps in:
"We will do some moonbathing, Y/n! It's alright, you two can go!"
Lillie and you walked away, laughing. As you expected, the place behind the rocks and the hill was amazing! It was a small area, with the sound of the waves echoeing.
Lillie sighs:
"Arceus, this is beautiful!"
You watch the whole place:
"It is."
"Want to have a swim?"
You smile:
"I'm down to clown!"
The water was ice cold, but you like that! Lillie however shriecked with laughter:
"This is cold!"
You laugh too:
"It's... refreshing!"
She splashes water at you:
"Refreshing?! Here, this is refreshing, mister!"
You laugh again:
"It is indeed!"
You began splashing water at each other like little kids.
After a few minutes, you went out of the water, because it was getting a little bit too cold for Lillie.
You lay down in the sand:
"This is life."
Lillie asks, shivering:
"Y-Y/n?"
"Yes, Lillie?"
"It's a bit... cold."
You search for a towel, but soon find out Blue has them.
"I'm not having cold. I could share a bit of my warmth with you, if you'd like."
She sits down in front of you with her back towards you. You want to put your arms around her:
"May I?"
She nods. Her body was very cold, but yours was warm, and after a few minutes her body was warm too. You would have released her, but she lay her head on your chest, so you weren't able to. Not that you wanted to. It just felt a bit weird.
Perhaps this is the moment...
"I'm sorry for the party... it turned out to be a sad party in the end."
"No, it wasn't your fault. It was Ash's. Thereby, this is way better than any party, being here with you, in this place..."
"It is..." You say, and take a deep breath, before saying:
"Lillie, there's something I need to tell you, and it has been on my mind for quite a long time..."
She sits up and turns around, so that she could look you in your Y/c eyes:
"There's something I want to say to you as well... But you first!"
You shake your head:
"Ladies first."
She insists:
"No, you first!"
You take a deep breath:
"... When I first came to Alola, I saw the nature, the Pokémon, the sun, the moon.... I was overwhelmed with joy, and I thought that nothing in this world could be more beautiful. That thought ended when I saw a blonde girl standing in front of a bridge. When she turned around, I saw the most beautiful face I've ever seen."
She was blushing hard. A loud voice appeared from behind you:
"Heeeey, guys, I-" It was Blue again, but this time yóú interrupted hím.
You shout back, sending out Nebby:
"Blue, this is the third or the fourth time already! Shut up and go away! Nebby, if Blue is still here in 20 seconds, you may eat him!"
A scream confirmed that Blue ran away. You turn back to Lillie, who was still blushing hard but smiling now:
"...But that's not it. The most beautiful thing in this world is your heart, Lillie. I have only seen 2 regions in my entire life, but I already know that there's no one better than you. I- I'll have to look down soon, because I'm drowning in your eyes... I want to ask 'Do you want to have my heart?', but that would be wrong, because you already have it, from the first time I met you. I want to share my life with you, Lillie, because I found out... when you left to Kanto, I was like a ghost. I wasn't myself. Alola seemed so empty without you, and I never, ever want to lose you again, Lillie! There are three words I want to say to you, and I'm sure you know them: Lillie, I love you... Do you love m-"
A kiss interrupted your monologue. Her lips were soft like the sand you were sitting on. One hand lay on your cheek, the other one lay on your back. You held her tight too. After a few seconds, you released each other for a second, with Lillie saying:
"I love you too, Y/n. Don't you dare ever leave me."
You answered that with another kiss. You couldn't believe what was happening.
After a few minutes of kissing, cuddling and looking each other in the eye, she lay in your arms, both lying in the sand, looking at the moon. Lillie sighed:
"How beautiful is this moon?"
"What moon? The only one that's shining tonight is you!"
She gives you a lovely little slap on your leg:
"You joker!"
You laugh:
"I meant that."
She gives you another kiss:
"You're so sweet! I can't believe... you know, when I first saw you, I even thought you were an Aether Paradise member." She says laughing.
That made you laugh:
"What?! Me, an Aether member?! Well, that must be because of my shady appearance..." You say joking.
"No! I like your face!" She says, giving you a kiss:
"I also like your lips against mine..."
Her green eyes were close to you, and you gave her another kiss:
"Have another one."
She giggles cutely:
"What I was about to say on Exeggutor Island, Y/n-"
"Was that you love me? I guessed that!"
She blushes, and you continue, joking:
"I'm glad you didn't say it, then. I liked my monologue!"
You both laugh.
You suddenly remember something:
"Oh Arceus! Lillie! I forgot something! Wait..." You say, searching your bag, and you give her Metapod's Pokéball:
"Remember what I said just now? True beauty is on the inside! That's why I chose to catch this little fellow! I hope you like it..."
She throws the Pokéball, and out comes Metapod:
"Waw! It's-"
You put your arms around her:
"Do you like it?"
"I love it! I've always loved Metapod! Did you know that Metapods only harden their body when attacked by an enemy, and nothing more?"
Indeed!
"Really?! Waw, I didn't know that!"
She smiles:
"See? Even you can learn some things from me!"
You smile, drowning in her green eyes another time:
"I've learned many things from you, Lillie. Like slowing, and like kissing, for example!"
She laughed:
"And I thought I learned that from you!"
You laugh too:
"We learned it from each other." You say, lifting up her chin, and a long kiss followed, and another one, and another one...

I know you guys were waiting for this moment, Lillie and Y/n being together, that is, and I thought:
"Why not now?"
Also, I stopped with the alliterations in the title, and I thought that this was a good chapter to stop. It's difficult to find a suiting alliteration for a chapter sometimes! A new beginning for Y/n, a new beginning for me! I really loved writing this chapter, and I hope you loved reading this chapter!
