You had a bad dream that night: you dreamt about thát one day, the day when Lillie left. But when you woke up, you were partly glad too, because you knew those days without Lillie were over. Everyone was still sleeping, but you already went outside. You were excited for the journey that was about to begin. This is why you came to Kanto.
And for Lillie, of course, and for Lillie. A few Pidgeys were sitting in front of the door, so you fed them. A voice from behind suddenly surprises you:
"How are things going? Ready for the journey?"
You turn around: it was Gladion.
"I am! Are you?"
"I am ready too, I'm longing for a journey! I heard you were awake, so I decided to get up as well! How are things going with Lillie, you know...?" He asks with a wink.
You smile and shrug:
"Well, I feel like-"
A question interrupts you:
"I heard my name?" Lillie says smiling, standing behind Gladion. Gladion keeps his chill air and answers cool:
"I was just asking Y/n how your arm was doing, goodmorning."
Lillie nods:
"My arm is fine. Goodmorning, Gladion!" She says and hugs Gladion, and then walks towards you:
"Goodmorning, Y/n!" She says sweetly, and gives you a hug and even a kiss on your cheek! Gladion gave a grin, and you winked back. After a few seconds, she let go and asks:
"And, captain, when are we leaving?"
"In a few hours..." You say, thinking, to add a moment later:
"You know you woke up pretty early, right?"
She smiles and winks:
"I just wanted to be with you, Y/n!"
Gladion seizes his chance:
"Cuties!"
Lillie blushes and turns around:
"Excuse me, what did you say?"
He laughs:
"I said: CUTIES!"
He runs away with Lillie following him, in playful anger. You stare at the two and smile:
They really are brother and sister!
They were back in a minute. You smile at Lillie:
"Every problem solved?"
They nod, but Gladion can not resist to give you another wink. But this time, Lillie noticed it and gives Gladion a slap, saying "What was that good for?"
You all laugh together, sit down in the grass and watch the dawn.
You stand up:
"Let's wake everyone up."
Lillie grabs your hand:
"Really? I wanted to sit here for a little longer!"
You give her a warm smile:
"Okay, I'll wake everyone up."
She turns sad:
"But I want to stay here, and with you!"
"You made me 'the captain'." You say winking, "but I'll be back in a minute!"
You go to Daisy's room first. She was still sleeping, and you hear her soft breathing. You touch her shoulder softly a few times:
"Daisy? Could you wake up, please?"
She takes your hand:
"What time is it?"
You shrug:
"I don't know, but the sun is here, and I don't want to stay any longer. Could you wake up Blue and Red?"
She turns her back to you, still holding your hand:
"I want to sleep..."
You place a hand on her shoulder:
"Keep sleeping then. Are you a sleepwalker, by any chance?"
"No."
"That's unfortunate. Otherwise you could perhaps wake them up while you're sleeping." You say, walking away, after releasing her hand, "I thought you'd do it, for me..."
You hear stumbling behind you:
"I'll go, I'll go!"
You give her a wink.
Lots of winking today!
"I knew you would. Thanks!"
You walk back to Lillie:
"Here I am!"
She turns around, sees you and smiles:
"I talked with Gladion, he had rather interesting things to say!"
Really, Gladion? Really? Thanks, man!
"About?" You say as calm as possible.
She takes your hand:
"You remember when you catched a Ponyta for me?"
You nod. That was one of your favourite moments in Kanto so far!
"Of course!"
She smiles again, a bit shy:
"Well, remember you said: "You can catch anything for me if you want to?""
You got the clue:
"Where did you catch it?"
That question surprised her, but she quickly answers:
"Over there, near the training grounds, while you were packing. Gladion said it will be very strong when it evolves, and that it is the perfect gift for you!"
She hands over a Pokéball. You give it back:
"If it could be a great addition to my team, then it could also be the same to your team."
She laughs and gives it back too:
"No! This is my gift for yóú! You've given me loads of things, now I want to give yóú something. You only have Bulbasaur!"
You shrug:
"Alright... I'd like to name it, whatever it is. I'd like to name it Midos."

*Just a note: I chose the name with random name generator*

She laughs:
"It is a boy, so yes, it's called Midos, then!"
You take a deep breath:
"Alright, Midos, I choose you!" You say, and throw the Pokéball.
It was a Riolu!
You freak out hard:
"OH MY ARCEUS!!! How did you know?!"
She's obviously glad you liked it:
"Know what?"
You pick up the Riolu:
"That Lucario is my favourite Pokémon?!"
She shrugged:
"To be honest, I didn't know!" She says laughing.
You stroke Midos on it's head and hug him, and he makes such cute sounds:
"Did you know that Riolu is capable of making long journeys on foot in a short time?"
Lillie nods, smiling:
"I read it once, that's why I caught it. As a symbol. A symbol of an unexpected journey."
You grab her hands:
"You don't know how much this means to me... as a child, I've always dreamt of having a Riolu or a Lucario. I've never caught one myself. I had them both for a second to complete the Pokédex from a friend, but I had to give them back to him afterwards..."
She puts her arm around you:
"I'm glad you like it. Did you know Riolu has something called 'aura'? Perhaps I have 'aura' too, and then I can communicate with it!" She says joking.
"I knew Riolu had it, I didn't know you had it as well! I think talking with it would be weird, actually!" You answer, laughing.
Perhaps this is the right moment!
You place a hand on her cheek:
"Lillie... I... you know, you didn't have to do this, but you did, and that's so sweet. I am sure there is no other person in the world who is so kind... I... I don't know how you do what you do to me, and I-"
"HEEEY, PEEPS! We're leaving! Woah, a wild Riolu! Red, Red! Catch it!" Blue suddenly appears and rubs through your hair.
Seriously, Blue?! You... ah man! Never lucky...
You sigh and quickly stand up:
"No, it's mine. Lillie gave it to me."
Blue and Red then turned over to Lillie, who blushed, and Gladion and Daisy were watching too.
"Really? To him?! Why not to me? You know how cool that Pokémon is?" Blue says, pretending to be upset.
He turns back to you:
"Now you'll have to give her a really, really cool Pokémon too, Y/n!"
You pick up your bag:
"I will."
And I still need to find a good moment to declare my love, man!
When everyone was ready, and Dawn and Ash joined you, you decided to leave the house and Pallet.

You honestly don't know where to go, so you ask Blue:
"Blue, do you know where to go to?"
He thinks it through:
"Lillie and you already have one badge, so I would like to go to Cerulean City. The second gym is situated there."
You got excited by the thought of the next gym:
"Alright! It's going to be far, isn't it?"
"A bit, yeah. We'll sleep in Pewter and then go on."
You walked to Pewter with Lillie and Midos by your side, talking with her the whole time.

Arriving at Pewter City was... strange, but fun! Many people, including many children, saw Red and Blue and gathered around your group. Blue then took your hand:
"This guy here next to me is also the Alolan Champion!"
Everyone gasped and took photos of the three of you and your "fellowship", as Blue still likes to call it. After satisfying all the fans, you walk inside the hotel. An old butler approaches Blue:
"Sir Blue. Welcome. I'm your butler, George."
What a majestic hotel is this? It must be very expensive!
The hall you entered was enormous!
Blue handled the financial matters, and soon he came back to you:
"So, who's going to sleep where?"
Ash answers first:
"I'll sleep with Dawn."
Blue nods:
"I'll sleep with Red. And that's settled then! We have 5 bedrooms: Y/n sleeps with Lillie, because they're used to that by now, and Gladion and Daisy have their own room! Simple and smooth!"
You look at Lillie. She smiles and nods, so you smile back. A few minutes later, you go to your room. You drop all your luggage and go back to the lounge. You and your friends ate together, it was much fun, but you were tired and you went back to your room soon.  You fell asleep at once in your bed.

The sound of footsteps awoke you. You opened your eyes and saw Lillie unpacking her stuff. She saw you woke up:
"Oh, Y/n, I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you up!"
You sit up and immediately answer:
"It's nothing. Anything interesting happened while I was abscent?"
"No, I just talked with Gladion. Nothing interesting."
"Alright."
You turn around and try to fall asleep again.
"Y/n?"
"What did you want to say to me this morning when Blue interrupted you?"
Well, actually...
You thought, but you decide to keep it cool:
"Nothing special."
She sounds a bit... disappointed by your answer:
"Oh... alright."
You remembered Midos:
"Thank you again for the Riolu, I-"
"It's no problem, Y/n! I've said that many times. You've given me so much, I just had to give you something!" She said laughing.
I'll give you something great, though, like Blue said, someday!
"Still though, thanks!"
"No problem!"
She sees you're trying to sleep: "Goodnight, Y/n! See you tomorrow!" She says, as she lays down in her bed as well.
"Goodnight, Lillie."
Which Pokémon do I give her? Skitty? No, it has to be a really amazing one! I really don't know...

Chapter 15, done! I've broken my once a week upload schedule, decided to upload it today! ^_^ About time, some of you'd probably say XD
Summer holidays are coming, this Friday, that is! About time, I'd say! I can't wait! I'll try to upload as much as I can, thank you guys for your amazing support, I honestly never thought that this story would ever reach 1k reads, but hey, here we are, at 2.6k reads!
