Well I hope everyone of you is doing all right in this pandemic, doing social distancing and all the requirements to prevent Covid. So without further ado let's start the chapter.

(Y/n) POV

After retrieving the relics and bringing them back Ozpin then gave out the team order in which how the teams were paired Team JNPR, and Team RBWY. For us however we were a special case since we were two extras so we decided to be a team of two. After that we were all assigned to our rooms and when we got there Nero looked around and just placed his hand on my shoulder and wrote down what he thought of the room.

Nero: (This room sucks.)

(Y/n): Really I think this room is alright.

Nero: (No it's not taking a look around this room you'd mostly feel more like you're in a one room bedroom. )

I looked around and to be honest he's not joking there's little space between the beds and the room isn't spacious enough and we have a small bathroom.

(Y/n): I see what you're getting at.

Nero: (Come back in two hours and you'll see something completely different.)

(Y/n): How are you gonna change this entire room?

It was then he gave me the most menacing glare which sent chills down my spine.

Nero: (You'll see now get out and leave your stuff here come back in two hours.)

It was then I left the room and I heard the door lock behind me.

(Y/n): (Don't tell me he just tricked me did he?...Hopefully he didn't otherwise I would break this door down and get him. Well what's the time...5 I gotta wait till 7 okay then. Time to explore.

After 2 hours of exploring Beacon were up I went back to my room and knocked on the door. I heard a click and the door opened and holy snap did the room change from a single room into what appears to be the size of a one story house complete with a living room, kitchen, big bathroom with a jacuzzi, two bedrooms with one of the same beds in the bedroom.

On the doors were labeled which room belonged to who and I walked into Nero's bedroom there was a lot of gadgets and different gun parts as Nero was on his chair doing gun maintenance at his maintenance station. He looked to his right and noticed me and raised one eyebrow. After a bit of silence he wrote down on his notepad.

Nero: (Need something?)

(Y/n): Need something?! Dude you just changed this one small room into a fricking house!!!

He only wrote one word.

Nero: (And?)

(Y/n): And?! Dude don't you realize what you've done?

Nero: (Yes I've altered this room to be more of a comfortable living space for us.)

(Y/n): You act as if though you've done this a billion times.

He lowered his brow and wrote more.

Nero: (This isn't the first time I've done this, I've given the homeless a place to go when they don't have any and it's all fully functioning. I feel like by doing this it justs gives me a strange feeling within me it feels rather pleasant.)

(Y/n): That's because you feel genuine happiness within you that you were able to give someone in need something of great necessity.

Nero: (Happiness is that so? I see then that's a nice feeling to have even if it's just a fleeting moment.)

(Y/n): Wait you're telling me you can't express emotions?

Nero: (I can only express disgust or anger but anything from that it's just whatever.)

(Y/n): I see.

Nero: (If you want food help yourself to the fridge in the kitchen.)

(Y/n): Thanks but how did you create all of this?

Nero: (I used my old invention S.E.C.)

(Y/n): S.E.C?

Nero: (Anagram for Space Expansion Cube it allows me to expand and distort the confines of whatever I desire as long as the cube is placed on a surface. From there expanding rooms is just child's play and to make more rooms I just use a different one from there I change it's settings to accommodate the living facilities and that's it. Since we're teammates in this scenario I decided to go all out. If you're worried about anything about this whole thing don't be I've talen all precautions necessary. Now please if you'll excuse me I need to get back on my weapon maintenance. Also your stuff is in your room.)

It was then a beeping sound could be heard from his armor. With a push of his finger on the armor a screen appeared with a blonde haired girl on the other side her sounded calm yet very soothing.

(Y/n): (Woah she's cute.)

???: Hello.

Nero: (Good evening)

It was then her tone became a bit melancholic

???: So you still haven't gotten used to it yet.

Nero: (No...my apologies.)

After that brief exchange she went back to her calm tone

???: It's fine I can't really force you to speak it's when you feel like it.

Nero: (Indeed thank you. So has there been any news as of late?)

???: Mmm...not as of yet...hm? Oh pardon me I didn't notice you there how do you do?

(Y/n): Uh fine how're you?

???: Great so far thank you for asking.

(Y/n): Nero who is she?

Nero: (Meet Noa a genius inventor who also taught me all that there is to know about technology and science. She's my mentor, my caretaker and my information dealer. She helps me out with assigning my bounty hunt missions despite both of us being 3 years apart.)

(Y/n): How old are you Nero?

Nero: (18)

(Y/n): (So same thing as me 2 years apart.)

Noa: I can see you've mastered the S.E.C and further improved it great job.

Nero: (Thank you.)

Noa: Also happy early birthday and send!

From his table something glowed and appeared a little robot.

Noa: This little guy will handle housework and serve you think of it as your own personal butler but it only responds to you Nero. Cause knowing you you'd most likely forget to eat and drink when you're really focused. In order for it to know what you want just place your hand over it's head and transmit your needs there.

Nero: (I appreciate the help thank you.)

He placed his hand over the little robot's head and it functioned. It automatically turned itself on and quickly floated out.

Noa: Hm? Oh got some new intel of White Fang vandalism near the docks. Bounty is 2,000 lien do you want to acce-nevermind seeing as how you're already putting the gun together.

*ca-chak*

Nero: (Thanks Noa, speak to you soon.)

Noa: Take care little brother.

Nero: (We aren't related.)

Noa: I know but I just wanted to say it at least once.

Nero: (All right then talk to you later big sister.)

Noa: Okay see you soon.

After that communications were over and he got his gear together.

Nero: (Do you want to come along? I'll split the bounty 50/50.)

(Y/n): Uh sure I'll take the job.

I quickly went to my room and got my stuff and began to head out with Nero.

Nero: (Let's take to the skies. We can get there quicker.)

(Y/n): How're we gonna get there?

Nero: (Hold on tight)

I gripped onto his armor and with one leap we began to fly how I looked to where his feet where at and it was jet powered boots.

(Y/n): (Holy snap don't look down! Don't Look Down!) Dude what can your armor not do?!

Nero: (That's what I would like to find out so I can fix the error.)

After about 10 minutes we arrived to the docks and saw Team RWBY fighting the White Fang and as Team RWBY was about to win reinforcements arrived along with Roman Torchwick. I heard about this guy before he's bad news with a huge bounty on his head. It was then I saw the White Fang group pull out guns and began to open fire on the girls.

(Y/n): We have to help them.

Nero: (Remember be cautious of the girl in red.)

(Y/n): Right!

We rushed in and fended off the white fang while Nero incapacitated Roman's leg with a bullet that made him fall while looking like he got electrocuted. As the numbers were soon thinning out I saw a group of get behind Ruby and were aiming for her head.

(Y/n): No!

I quickly jumped and threw my blade making it puncture the ground and shielded Ruby from the bullets that were about to take her life.

(Y/n): Made it!

Ruby's POV

At the beginning this was nothing but as the fight dragged on there was way too many to fight and we were almost exhausted until backup arrived in the form of a two boys one being armored in white with red highlight trimmings. While the other appeared in regular clothing my knight.

Ruby: (He sensed that I was in danger he came! He truly, truly came for me!)

I kept holding on to make myself look good in front of him but we must've gotten seperated and I heard the sound of guns being ready as I looked back I saw a blade pierce onto the ground as the bullets were fired shielding me from the blast I looked to my right and found my knight jumping towards my rescue. As I saw looked and saw the rest of the White Fang goons being taken down by our team members.

(Y/n): You okay?

Ruby: Yeah I'm fine now that you're here.

(Y/n): Great.

He turned around and looked at his teammate and his teammate signaled him over.

(Y/n): Gotta go see ya back at school.

Ruby: Okay bye (Y/n)!

Ruby: (He will be mine I'll make sure of that and that armor why isn't my knight wearing one but that other one is? He should at least give my knight his own armor so he can save me next time I'm in trouble.)

Yang: Ruby come on let's get going.

Ruby: Okay!

With that we quickly left the area.

———-Meanwhile (Y/n) POV

I said goodbye to Ruby and headed in Nero's direction we turned in the White Fang members and Roman Torchwick and received a huge pay for it. As promised he split it 50/50 and we headed back home to relax in our new rooms. Where the little bot was waiting for us with a menu in which I chose tea Nero picking coffee.

Nero: (I've gotta stop picking up her coffee drinking habits. Speaking of coffee drinking I'll be making the report so please don't disturb me while I'm writing.)

(Y/n): Sure.

I headed to the bathroom to enjoy a good hot shower before turning on the TV watching some shows after that I turned it off and finally slept for a new day tomorrow.

(A/n): There chapter done not much has happened this time around but hopefully next chapter I can do more on terms of action and buildup and other stuff. As for Noa would you want her to be the love interest?
