Jungkook's POV:-

My body becomes numb, as soon as I saw her lifeless body laying there. Her face was pale as if she struggled to be saved. As if she hoped that we'll come and take her out of the darkness, but none of us was there for her. I was lost in my daze until I hear Jimin hyung's voice.

"Ari!" He screams in agony and runs to her. Taking her body in his arms, he gasps audibly.

"Call an ambulance. She's dead cold. Hurry!" Yoongi hyung immediately took his phone out and call for an ambulance. While Jin hyung and Hobi hyung was trying to calm Jimin hyung. But I can't move. Even though I want so bad to go to her and keep her safe in my embrace, but my body was betraying me. Moments later, Yoongi hyung came in and informed us about the arrival of the ambulance. I, Jimin hyung and Jin hyung went with Ari, while the others come in a car as there were not too many people can sit inside the ambulance.

She had been taken to the emergency ward immediately as her condition wasn't well. Jimin hyung is calm now but still having an issue with his sobs. Everyone was silently sitting outside the ward until Namjoon hyung decided to speak.

"I'm sorry guys. All this happens because of me. I shouldn't have sent her in there in the first place." He said it to everyone but look at Jimin hyung, who take a deep breath and stand up, before standing in front of Joonie hyung. And I know each one of us silently started to pray that he don't lose his temper.

"No hyung, you did nothing to be sorry. I should be sorry for letting my emotions take over me and lay my hands on you. I should've thought that you didn't know about it. No one knows about it except me. I should be careful in the first place." He said, taking a seat while holding his head. We remain silent, letting him take his time and speak.

"It was when we were 15 years old. She wasn't Nyctophobic back then. She was good and healthy. But everything goes wrong when the 3 of us, me, Ari and Damien were playing hide and seek. Damien was Ari's father side cousin who stayed with her family along with his father as his mother died when he was 5 years old. Since then Ari's mother was taking care of him as if he's her son. So, I and Ari were hiding and Damien was seeking. While searching for a good place to hide, she went inside Damien's father's room. It was dark there so she didn't know that he was inside. Damien find me but after searching for a long time, we didn't found Ari. While passing through the doors, suddenly we hear faint crying sounds from Damien's father's room. We call uncle and aunt but it was too late. Uncle opened the door and caught Damien's father there and they told me to check on Ari as the uncle was taking the culprit and aunt was taking care of Damien as he broke down seeing his father like this. As I walk inside, I found Ari laying there, naked, unconscious. And the worst thing is, there's... there's a vibrator inside her at its full speed." He can't continue as he hides his face in his hands and started to sob. Our heart was turning so bad at the story but we know Jimin hyung have to take it out to calm himself so we just sit there. After a second, he sniff and started again.

"We took her to the doctor. He said that she wasn't sexually molested but he did torture her insides with the speed of the vibrator. And also she hurt her throat too as she was screaming too loud but unfortunately, he was holding her mouth to not let the sound reach us. She wakes up after 5 hours but she was badly mentally traumatized. Seeing dark places can cause her panic attacks so she never turned off her room's light and never close the door when she's alone in a room. After that incident, Damien's father was sentenced to lifetime jail and Damien left to stay in a hostel as he doesn't want to stay where his father caused a big crime. But now she's again standing in front of her biggest fear, and we can't do anything about it." As soon as he finished his words, the doctor come outside in a hurry.

"How's Ari, doctor?" Hobi hyung asks, unable to control his fears.

"If you want me to be honest, then her condition is not good. Her brain was in lack of oxygen for almost 5-10 minutes as she wasn't stably breathing at that time and panic attacks makes it worse. Thanks to God you found her soon otherwise we couldn't save her. Her heartbeat is sinking as each second passes by. We have to do something to make her heartbeat stable otherwise her chances of getting into a coma is high. Pray for her so she could survive." The doctor pats Jin hyung's shoulder and walks towards the ICU ward. That's when the realisation hit me that if anything goes wrong, then I won't be able to see my love smiling again. I'm going to lose her. She's dying slowly. No! She can't die. She can't leave me like this. Thinking about this stuff, I slowly break into sobs. Hyungs around me come closer and give the embrace to cry. But the way each of them is shaking, I could tell that they're scared too.

"She's losing her heartbeat. Charge it to 180." The doctor's voice rings in the room as he presses the electrodes on her chest. Her body rise from the shock and again fell on the bed. Still no sign of life in her.

"This is our last hope. Do it to 200." The doctor takes a deep breath as he looks at our hopeful faces outside the room. And then again give her a shock. This time her body jolts up a little higher, and then rest on the bed, and her left hand fell aside, signalling her lifelessness. The doctor looks at his watch and shows the nurse two fingers before coming out of the room. I didn't want to do it, but still went to him and ask.

"Doc?" He sighs and then holds my shoulder.

"People's heartbeat can return in between 20 minutes after their death. And she isn't dead yet. Just we can't stop her heartbeat from slowing down and it keeps sinking. So we decided to watch for the next 20 minutes... If we get some improvement, then it's good. Otherwise, I have to say we tried our best." I slowly nod my head at him and he walks past me. I turn my head to look at her, my love, laying there without any movement. Suddenly Yoongi hyung pushes everyone and runs inside the room. We look at each other and then follow him before he could create any mess. But he just pushed the nurse aside and grab Ari by her shoulder.

"Yah! You idiot! How can you be so irresponsible? If you're thinking of escaping while leaving your husbands and boyfriend behind then you're fucking wrong. Cause we won't let you go. Do you hear me? We. Won't. Let. You. Go! Now wake up and take care of Jin hyung. Or else I'll make him angry again. Wake up, Ari. You have to. You have to wake up for me, for us." He stops for a second and makes eye contact with me, before turning at her again.

"For Jungkook. For your Jungkook. You can't just love him and then leave him hanging like that. Don't you want to marry him? Have kids with your love? Wake up Aria. Look Jungkook is waiting for you. Please wake up. You have to wake up my love. You have to..." He can't continue because of his hard sobs. I walk over and hold on to his shoulder. He looks up at me before hugging me real tight.

"She loves you Jungkook. Tell her to wake up. I know she'll listen to you. She's not listening to me. Please tell her to wake up. Please." He can't even speak properly as he was crying too hard. He must be badly hurt as Tae hyung told me that he never saw Yoongi hyung expressing his emotions. The nurse was standing there, unable to understand what to do.

"G-guys!" I turn to Joon hyung, who was looking at the bed with widened eyes. Seeing his expression my heart suddenly stopped. What happened to her now? I slowly look at the bed, hoping for the good. But what I saw was seriously the gift of God if I could explain it like that. Aria's fingers were moving a little. And then she gasps out, trying to take a breath but was unable as her heart was lacking oxygen. The nurse immediately runs out and a second later return with the doctor.

"Can you all please go out and wait until we could try to keep her heartbeat in a stable state?" We didn't have to tell twice as we almost run out of the room. Yoongi hyung denying at first but then he followed us for the sake of Ari. We sit on the bench outside and started to pray internally. All we want is her back. All I want is her alive, even if she'll be mine or not.

"Congratulations. She's safe. But we can't tell when she'll get back her consciousness. She isn't in a coma though. Her brain is just can't take the shock and slow down its functioning. So don't worry, she'll wake up soon. It could take more than a week but remember that she's alive and breathing. You can take her home today just make sure to clean herself and she gets her glucose through the saline. In short, her saline should continue 24/7." The doctor said, making us almost jump in excitement but we calm ourselves as the hospital isn't a good place to make noise. The doctor prepares her discharge papers and we finally get our way back home. We're still not happy but relieved that she's alive, that at any moment she'll wake up and giggle like a baby she is or scold us if we tease her or make any mistakes. I take a relived breathe, that I can take my love in my arms and make her mine someday.
