Song Hye Min's P.O.V.

When Mark left my room, there was some blank space filling in the room as well as in my heart. The wedding day is nearing and I have no idea why I'm like this. I should be actually happy for marrying my boyfriend for more than a decade but I'm feeling the opposite. My heart says no to this marriage but my mind says it is the best option. I'm torn into two right now.

After my day got finished I went home. I craved for some drinks so I bought some drinks while heading home. I want to clear my mind but after drinking it only made it more complicated.

My total mind and heart was conquered by Mark Lee. I started banging my head on my dining table. It just hurts.

"Ow Ouch!!" I hissed in pain. Some flashes of memory replayed in my mind. I remembered everything that happened that night. My mouth gasped in shock. Next second I felt betrayed. That Mark didn't say me the truth. The anger that was boiling in my heart made me call Mark,

"Hello" He answered the call.

"YAHHHH!!" I shouted from this end.

"Mr.Song are you alright?" He asked in a concerned tone.

"How can you do this to me?" I said.

"What?" He asked confused.

"How could you hide this big fat truth from me?" I said still in a angry tone.

The line went silent for a moment.

Mark's P.O.V.

"How could you hide this big fat truth from me?" She asked. So finally she opened my gift?

While I was thinking here, she shouted from the other end,

"Yah I'm talking here.."

"Minnie Noona, I'm sorry I should have said this to you already, but I thought you will remember by yourself" I said remembering the nickname I gave to her when were young.

"Yah don't call me Minnie Noona, only Minhyung can call me that" She said making me all confused. But I'm that Minhyung.

"Ms.Song what are you talking about?" I asked her.

"How can you hide that truth that nothing happened to us that night?" She said in a slurry tone. So she remembered that only now? I just laughed at her ignorance. But what about the gift I gave her. She haven't opened it yet?

"Oh that.. I just want you to feel guilty for using me" I said. I was shocked at myself for answering like that.

"You evil bastard. I hate you" She said and kept the phone.

I must be insane to talk like that to her. She used me? It was more like I took advantage of a drunk lady.

Next day...

"Mr.Lee can I see you in my office for a second?" She called me when she arrived. I was sure that I'm going to be fired. I knocked the door and went in. My eyes met her but she wasn't angry but more like she was sad. 

"I'm really sorry Mr.Lee. Please forgive me." She said which shocked me more.

"I shouldn't have acted like that with you. I promise you that it won't happen ever again" She said. I just gasped in shock.

"No no, Ms.Song I'm the one at fault. Please forgive me for my behavior" I said.

"It's my fault first. So I'm sorry. End of argument" She said and finished the argument. I jsut sighed.

"Since the issue is solved, can we go out for a coffee?" She asked with her beautiful smile.

"But you have meeting at 11:30AM Ms.Song" I reminded her the schedule.

"Oh yeah then we will go for lunch" She said and got ready for the meeting.

The meeting went quite long and Hye Min did a impressive job like everyday. The board of directors were surprised by her ideas. Including me, even though I have seen her in meetings almost for 4 years, it still feels her ideas are new and refreshing.

It was almost 1:00PM when the meeting ended. Everyone left the meeting room, only I and Hye Min was remaining. I typed the meeting minutes and stored it in the computer. I turned to see Hye Min was still in her seat looking at me.

"Ms.Song, everyone left. Why are you still here?" I asked her.

"Waiting for my secretary to complete his job" She said and smiled.

"Oh" I said and remembered that I was her secretary. I looked straight up in her eyes. I she waiting for me? But why? I gave her a confused look.

"If you are finished then can we go for lunch?" She asked sternly looking at me.

"Oh yeah yeah. It's almost finished." I said and closed the laptop.

"Let's go Ms.Song" I opened the door and let her leave first.

I went to the office to leave my laptop there and she was in her office. Once I was finished I went to her room.

"Let's go Ms.Song" I said. When we were about to exit the room, a familiar figure came in. None other than her soon to be husband Choi Minki. I greeted him politely.

"Oh baby are you going out for lunch? Did you forget what day is today?" He asked while hugging Hye Min. I felt my rage raising in my head. Actually Minki is a great guy but I just don't like him. I don't like him for stealing what is mine. Even while hugging that guy, I could feel Hye Min's eyes on me. I just turned to exit the room so that I don't watch that disgusting romance.

"Today our wedding outfits are arriving Hyemin-ah. Mom said to check it out today." I heard it while exiting the room. So I got no room in her heart anymore. This is reality Mark just accept it.

I sat on my chair. I called my best friend Yebin who is currently doing her studies in Canada.

"Hey yo No jams" She cooed in my ears.

"Yebin-ah" I said gloomily.

"Did you get rejected by your first love?" 

This girl knows everything about me.

"I should have a chance to get rejected but I was not in the frame from the start" I sighed.

"Aww Markiee don't be sad. Me and my boyfriend will come soon to Korea so that you won't be lonely." She said cheering me up. I really need some friends right now. I was happy that she is coming here.

"No one can save Korea from you anymore." I teased her a little.

"Haha I know you and Korea misses me. Don't worry sweetheart I will be there soon. I love you and my homeland the most" She said making me laugh.

"I love you too Yebin-ah" I said and laughed a little. That's when I noticed two people standing before my desk. I looked up to see those two. My eyes met her for a moment.

"Who is it Mr.Lee? Girlfriend?" That annoying jerk Minki said and smirked. I just maintained my smile. They soon left. I noticed that Hye Min's eyes were fixated on me the whole way.

I shook my head and reminded that Yebin was still on the phone,

"Hello!!!!" She was shouting.

"Hey hey I'm sorry" 

"Who's that?" She asked.

"Choi Minki. Her fiance" I said.

"Oh" She remained silent.

"How's my brother doing?" I asked as a change of topic.

"He is doing very bad because her girlfriend takes care of you more than your brother." It was my brother shouting at the phone.

"Hyung... I miss you" I said and whined a little.

"Miss you too dongseng. We will be back soon there." He said.

"Yah Lee Taeyong, give me my phone back." I heard Yebin shout at the back.

"Ssss, It's Oppa for you" He said and returned the phone to Yebin. We talked for few minutes and I kept the phone.

I lost my appetite after that Minki's arrival so I just had some coffee from the vendor machine and started to organize the files.
