§ Lovey's POV §

I grabbed Jack, Mark and Natasha by the hands and dragged them towards the currently empty Athena cabin. The whole camp was at the amphitheater, having fun, eating marshmallows and singing. And we were going on a quest tomorrow.

After we sat down on a working table, I brought out a map of America and pinned it down on a chart on the wall.

"We must review the prophecy. Anyone remember it?" I asked, grabbing a piece of paper and pen randomly sitting on the table.

"The one that fell by Nobody's hand
Has called his kind to take a stand
Two gods are lost, four half-bloods sail
For Olympus' sake they must not fail
Children of wisdom, ice and bloom
Must save the world from certain doom, " the daughter of Khione recited, frowning as she tried to remember the lines. After writing it down, I stared at it in confusion.

Jack frowned. "Nobody's hand? What does that mean?"

We made eye contact. Nobody...wait a second...

"Nobody. Wasn't it something...didn't Jason fool Polyphemus by saying he was Nobody?" I asked slowly. "And then, when Annabeth Chase, Percy Jackson and Clarisse La Rue appeared on his island again to retrieve the Golden Fleece, didn't Chase use the same trick?"

Tasha nodded, tilting her head slightly and twirling a strand of her hazel hair around her finger. "I am pretty sure yes. But look at the next line. Has called his kind to take a stand. Polyphemus is a Cyclops. If he is the one who fell by Nobody's hand, does that mean..."

"....the Cyclopes are planning to attack Olympus," the red-haired Korean whispered. "Two gods are missing, four half-bloods sail. It's obvious we are the four demigods. The two gods are Athena and Heather Stacy."

Tasha burst into laughter. "It's Hephaestus! If he wasn't abducted, he probably would have turned you into a donkey by now. Careful with names," her smile faded and transformed into a serious face. "Four half-bloods sail. Where should we sail, is the question. I can hardly believe it's Polyphemus' island. They can't arm there. If the Cyclopes abducted the god of forges, that's probably because they want to make weapons."

"Wait..." my grey eyes widened. "This can't be the Cyclopes that obey Poseidon and work underwater. They are strictly controlled and love their jobs. The Cyclopes we are talking about are the wild, evil ones. Their leader may reside in a water forge along with the two gods, but their forces are probably on land."

"And who is the goddess that tracks down and exterminates monsters, always knowing where to find them?" Tasha smirked, getting my point.

"...Artemis." My best friend high-fived me.

Jack looked a little confused, but kind-of understood. "And where can we find this Artemis goddess?" he asked.

Tasha's eyes lit up. "Tomorrow, when the sun is high enough, we will Iris Message Thalia. She will tell us."

Mark cleared his throat. "So the plan is message this Thalia, find Artemis, she will tell us the place of the Cyclopes' main forces, we sneak in, find where the leader resides, kill him and ruin their plan, then free Athena and Heph-something," he choked. "Don't you guys think that's a little dangerous?" the Athenian whispered, unsure.

"Hey, it's okay. Quests are always dangerous. Besides, we're are here with you guys. We will protect you," I reassured him with a soft smile. "This is for the gods of Olympus. We must do it, whether we want to or not."

Jack yawned loudly. "I think it's time to go to sleep, then."

"Yeah." Tasha added. "Come on, I'll show you your cabin. Night." They waved at us and exited.

I grabbed my pajamas and dressed into the bathroom. When I exited, Mark was already cuddled up in an unoccupied bed, lightly snoring. A giggle escaped my lips as I lay down in mine. My eyelids heaved, and my brain turned off, engulfing me in sleep.

In my dream I was in a dark room. My bare legs were freezing, touching the cold stone floor dripping with murky, dirty water. The walls were barely visible. Three of them were thick, hard and grey. Strange symbols ran all over it, emitting a light, misty glow. The wind was whispering around the place, sending chills down my spine.

'Magic,' I thought. The fourth wall in front of me was covered with bars covered with the same magical runes. This wasn't a room, I realized.

   It was a prison cell.

A woman was sitting in the corner of the room cross-legged, despite the water on the floor. She was wearing a simple shirt and jeans. She looked in her 40's, with dark brown hair in a braid and glowing grey eyes. She stared at me patiently and I realized who it was. My mother. The goddess of wisdom. That was Athena, trapped.

I opened my mouth and barely spoke.

"A-Athena?" I stammered.

"There is not that much time to talk," she sighed. "Hello, Amber. I wish I could help you. You have to find me. Those...those disgusting scums are keeping me here. They have casted a magical curse on this cage and the other one. I cannot leave, nor contact the gods. You and your friends have made a plan that might work. It's important to save me. In 6 days Zeus and I were supposed to discuss a lifesaving matter. If that doesn't happen, many creatures will die. Understand?" she asked, surprisingly calm.

I repeated everything in mind to remember it.

"Yes. I understand."

Athena took a deep breath. "They are coming to torture me. They need my wisdom. Hurry," she whispered and the world spun around.

~

I woke up with a start. Sweat dripped down my face and my thoughts raced around my head.
I looked to the side to see a very worried-looking Tasha.

"Come on," she said. "We have to eat before we leave."
