Next day morning

Gauri was sitting in the corridor reading book. Omru comes. Om was walking to canteen. He sees Tia.

O: haan Tia bolo

T: vo  college day keliye tum

O: arre haan I forgot to say, it would be better if you find a back up for anchoring

Gauri frowns and looks at them. Tia wide eye.

Om smiles

O: matlab if I am lucky enough toh I will get a partner.

Gauri looks surprised.

T: kya

Om shrugs his shoulders.

O: surprise hein dear

Om pats on Tia's shoulder. Om sees Gauri looking.

G: (rule of checking out, if he sees you ,dont immediately avert your gaze, just behave as looking behind him lost. )

Om frowns and looks behind him and then waves at Gauri. Gauri looks at him. He smiles and waves. Gauri too waves. Om goes.

G: itna confidence?

Gauri walks to canteen. Om goes after having tea. Rudy comes to her.

Ru: kya ho raha hein hmm? Shopping and all haan, abhi se trying to make my friend's bank balance zero

Gauri rolls her eyes: I repaid him

Rudy smiles.

Ru: kyun repay kiya, its the right of a girlfriend to make boyfriend spend. Abhi se start practicing

Gauri looks at him raising eyebrow. Rudy smiles.

G: girlfriend aur hum?kuch bhi?

Ru: vaise did you say Shivay about it.

Gauri sighs: pata nahi, I didn't feel like saying that through phone, he will be tensed and science meet will be oh my mata

Ru: hmm acha hi hein, let's surprise him,when he comes back you and O will be together. Maza aayega na

Gauri rolls her eyes and gets up to go.

G: yesterday Omkara was saying there is nothing common between you two, he is wrong

Rudy frowns.

G: you both have over expectations. Vo hein ki I will be having a partner in the party aur tum ho ki girlfriend pata nahi kya kya.

Ru: you think he wont recognize you

G: recognize kiya bhi do you think he will like me

Rudy rolls his eyes.

Gauri smirks.

G: whenever I think positive and expect na result will be.always negative. Toh no expectations no disappointment.

Rudy looks at her not knowing what to say.

G: tell him I will be wearing a white gown tomorrow.

Rudy nods. Gauri goes to class and sees Om sitting with Svetlana, Tia , Soumya

Gauri frowns.

G: (what are these two doing here)

Gauri sits in front of them.

Sv: good morning Gauri

Gauri smiles and nods.

Sv: hey Gauri, did you know Om  has got a girlfriend and not saying us, tum bolo na to say

Gauri looks at him surprised.

O:,arre she didn't say her lover's name toh why should I say her

Om shrugs his shoulders. Gauri looks at front.

G: (what is he doing? Dintora peet raha hein kya. As if he know who is it (shocked) kahin sach mein , no no )

So: at least say me Om. I am your best friends girlfriend na

Om smiles.

O: okay I will say about her.

Gauri stiffened and listens to them without looking back. They three lean excited. He says

Om smiles saying the shayari. Gauri surprised.

G: (yeh toh uss din)

So: shayari? uff I thought

T: tum bhi na,

Om chuckles.

Sv: that was a very deep shayari haan, strong feelings.

Om smiles looking down. Gauri raise her eyebrow hearing.

T: deep? Did you understand what he said

Sv:,obviously, his wait for her, but you already found her na then why wait

The bell rings.

O: go to your classes girls.

Soumya and Tia goes.

Sv: arre I forgot my bag on first row, ek minute.

Svetlana goes. Om leans to Gauri's chair.

O: how was the shayari.

G: aise pooch rahe ho as if you wrote it, it was in that book na

Om sighs.

O: but only you know na, I was asking about the feel.

G: feel? Are you sure this feel remain same forever?

Om's smile fades hearing the question.

G: I I dont know, just asking, vo aaj kal toh relationship is like a game or something for everyone na, nobody is serious, so just asked.

Gauri shrugs her shoulders: how do I know

Svetlana comes and sits beside Gauri. Om doesn't say anything.

O: (why was so depth in her words. Did she break up with her lover? Was she crying coz, no she was saying about some girl na, she gave the gift phir. She is little mysterious yaar )

Afternoon

Sv: lets have lunch

G: Svetlana I have literary club meeting, I will join you.

Sv: ok

Gauri walks to the club room and see Om sitting in the science club room writing something. He then hit his head with pen thinking and then writes. Gauri smiles seeing his cuteness. She sees Bhavya coming and walks to the literary club room. Hardly 10,people. They all were reading books after greeting.

Abhay: hi Gauri

G: hi

Dandi comes to the class who is the Secretary of the group.

Da: good afternoon.

Everyone looks at him.

Da:,my dear introverts, there is a complaint against us .

Gauri frowns: complaint

Da: haan that stupid daksh complained to principal our club is just good for magazine articles nothing else. We didn't even attend the college day last year which is true. As you all know day after tomorrow is the college day. I assured the principal we will help in cleaning and decoration

Ab: decoration dandi bhaiya?

Da:,arre we are good at paintings, words and even hand writings toh kyun nahin I found only that job with less communication. Toh tomorrow ie Sunday you all should be here for the duty. Any problem guys

Everyone nods no.

Da: lets show then power of the introverts.

Gauri control her smile.

Da: meeting dispersed

They all come out. Bhavya meets Gauri.

B: ohhh introverts meeting.aaj kya meeting hui, about the new book read? Or how to be more introvert.

G: why should I say you. Its our secret.

Bhavya rolls her eyes: please haan. I dont want to know too. Zarur about skipping the function na. Who appoints a person like dandi the Secretary. He talks as if he is bahubali and you all are his soldiers. Jai mahishmathi dear introverts.

Gauri chuckles: shut up

Night

Anika and Shivay goes to have dinner. They take the food and sit. Anika grins.

Shi: so happy?

A: aloo poori Shivay

Shi: kya?you can be happy seeing aloo poori and calling me weird when I got star wars book before Gauri.

A: after coming to Mumbai I am eating it for the first time

Shi: really

A: haan vahan nobody make, oily hein na

Shi,: one sec , what do you mean by after coming to Mumbai. Where were you before that

A:,nainital, with my dadi

Shi: dadi? Toh your parents

A: ummm they died when I was 10 years old, accident tha

Shivay feels sad: ohh

A: after that dadi took care of me, she was everything to me, maa papa sister friend sab. Mama mami also come to visit still she was everything. But four months back she also went leaving me(smiling in tears)

Shivay feels bad and looks at her not knowing what to say.

A: pata hein Shivay, she was the only one who knows my birthday and morning when I come for breakfast she comes with a cake and wish me happy birthday. I don't say my friends coz they will ask treat na, utna paisa toh nahi the,  ab toh none knows. Kabhi kabhi I feel very lonely. Its not that mama mami is not taking care of me, they dont have time to spend with even Soumya toh mein toh.

Shivay don't know why, keeps his hand on her consoling her. Anika looks at him.

A: ek baat bolun

Shivay nods.

A: after dadi you are the person whom I fight with. (Smiling)I feel good,fighting with you

Shivay smiles and shook his head.Anika wipes her tears smiling.

Next day morning

Anika comes to mess for breakfast and search for Shivay.

A: gaya kahan bhagad billa

Shi: subah subah shuru hui?

A: you hate late comers na then why are you late

Shi: late? We didn't fix a time to meet na, then what late

A: acha toh kal why were you angry that I was late

Shi: you came late to the venue Anika, how can you compare this two

A: haan toh I had to go to washroom na

Shi: you didn't say me na

A: ab kya I need to take permission for that

Shi: tumse na baat karna bekaar

A: aur aapke shakkal dekhna hi bekaar hein

Shi: jaao khaana lo please

Anika makes faces and was standing in the queue and taking the dishes ,Shivay behind her.  at last she looks wide eye seeing a strawberry cake with "happy birthday Anika " written.

A: yeh

Everyone in the hall start singing "happy birthday Anika" including Shivay. Anika in tears. Shivay actions to cut. Anika cuts the cake and gives the first piece to Shivay.

Shi: I hope your day started well by arguing with me, like with dadi

Anika smiles and hugs him. Shivay gets surprised that he felt something when she hugged.He feels like bells ringing. Anika smiles saying thank you. Everyone comes and wish her. Anika thanks them.

Shi: yeh kya hua, when Gauri or Svetlana hug I didn't feel like this. Strange. Where was the bell ringing. (Looking at the watch)its only 8 .30 na,bell rings at 9. Aas paas koi temple hein kya

He shrugs his shoulders. Shivay takes one more piece to eat. Anika comes to him smiling.

A: thank you for making my day. For the first time these much people is wishing me.

Shi: you are welcome

A: how did you know my birthday

Shi: I saw your id proof that day.

A: waah chant hein aap

Shi: kya, chant? Ab vo kya word hein?

Anika sees cream on his cheeks.

Shi: hmm?

Anika shows his cheek but he looks back. Anika wipes his cheek. Shivay feels like bells ringing again,   looks lost at Anika.Anika smiles

A: ho gaya, vaise cake kahan se khareeda

Shi: huh?

A: cake?

Shi:,haan cake, strawberry cake

Anika frowns: vo toh pata hein from where did you buy

Shi:,vo a bakery nearby I ordered at night. Chalo bell rang, eat fast

Anika frowns:bell? Kab? I didn't hear

Shi: didn't hear? Of course you will be lost and didn't hear but I

Just then bell rings. Shivay frowns. Anika folds hands on chest.

Shi: but I

A: may be you were waiting for the bell and imagined it ringing

Shi: imagine? Nahi mein toh

A: ab chaliye

Anika goes. Shivay thinking

Shi: but I heard ringing, two times.

Gauri comes to college and see everyone busy doing work.

G:,dandi kahan hein

Someone taps on her shoulder. She turns and see Om.

O: I think you have been fooled

Gauri frowns: fooled?

O:  The door to your first love is closed

O: arre library is closed. Its Sunday

Gauri sighs and shook her head.

G: did you see dandi

O: dandi? Why will he be here? Today there is no class Gauri we came to prepare for

G: college day I know, I am also here for that

Gauri goes to club room and see everyone.

Da: sharp time introverts. Toh lets divide the duties. Gauri and Abhay clean the music room.

G: ok

Ab: lets go

They both go to music room.

G: its so dusty

Ab: haan

He sneezes.

G: I will come with the duster to clean, you wait here

Gauri was coming with the duster and see Om carrying a heavy box alone and Rudy going in front talking in phone say something to Om and goes. The box goes to fall. Gauri runs and hold it from other side. Om sighs

O: thank you

Gauri in anger.

G: is this your helping friend?such a heavy box he didn't feel like lifting with you? Mann karta hein ek.jhaap

O:Gauri please

Gauri looks at him.

O: If you want you can go leaving it, I don't like anyone saying bad about Rudy. We both were lifting it. He got a call and it was urgent. He told me to keep it down, he will call someone else to help, I only said no. Dont blame him

Gauri rolls her eyes.

G: you are spoiling him, always supporting

O: acha,how will you feel, if I say Shivay khadoos

G: ek jhaap pe

O: see.

Gauri rolls her eyes.

O: vaise where were you going

G: going? Huuh abhay is waiting in music room, come fast

O: music room?

G: arre to keep this box

O: why are you getting hyper

Gauri sighs.

G: shall we go

O: haan to store room

O: I didn't know you were in music department

G: coz. I am not

O:,phir music room

G: cleaning

O: ohhh

They walk.

O: toh you are coming for the party na. What did your lover say

Gauri mutters under her breath.

G: dindora peet raha hein

O: dindora?

Gauri looks at him wide eye as he heard.

Om wide eye: is dandi your lover?

G: kya

O:,nahi vo dindora

G:,dindora aur dandi mein kya samand hein

O: bas yun hi

Gauri rolls her eyes.

O: toh kaun abhay?

G: will you stop guessing. How will you feel if I say your girlfriend name

Om excited: batao na. I was asking you from how long. Did you see her that day

G:,hey Shankarji iss chirote ka kuch nahi ho sakta, harharaike chalo ab

They keep the box.

Gauri nods and walks.

She goes to music room.

Abhay smiles: its ok , lets start

G: haan, they start dusting.

Bhavya was walking noting something.Rudy block her way. Bhavya rolls her eyes.

Ru: chalo

B:,kahan

Ru: date par

B: abhi time nahi hein

Bhavya walks.

Ru: ohh free ho tum aati?

Bhavya stops and turns.

B: I told I have work and no time to fight

Ru: I also called for work only..music room. Song selection

Ru: kaho toh I will call Ajay

Bhavya looks wide eye.

Ru: he was here only

Rudy controls his smile.

B: chalo chalo

Bhavya walks hurriedly. Rudy giggles and walks behind

Ruvya goes to music room and see Gauri and Abhay. Om also comes there.

B: hi di, ohh toh this was the discussion haan

Gauri smiles.

They three sit . Rudy connects laptop to the speaker.

Ru: where is the pen drive

Bhavya gives. Rudy plays.

Ru: romantic folder

Bhavya rolls her eyes.

B: aadat nahi jayege tumhari

Ru: thanks for the compliment that I am romantic

B: flirt kheika

Rudy smiles shaking his head. Om looks at both and smiles.Gauri was facing other side dusting the window. Rudy plays shayrana hui song(dawat e ishq). It was so loud. Gauri too sing thinking about Om.none heard. Suddenly laptop get stuck. Without knowing Gauri sings.

G:,kahe jo sakhiyan, sune jo thakiyan, tu he vo kahani. Daude jo naz mein reh na bas mein tu hein vo rawani.

Om looks surprised. Rudy too. Bhavya smiles as she knows Gauri sings. Abhay too smiles as he also knows as she hums in the club.

G: mein jispe fida hoon adaa ban gaya tu, jo sach ho gaya vo dua ban gaya tu, ki haaye re subah bhi fizal ne lagi

Rudy and Om clap  hands . Gauri realises and turns wide eye.

O: wow. What a feel Gauri

Gauri looks down nervous fidgeting her dupatta.

B: ab you sang thinking about whom di

Gauri looks wide eye at Bhavya and then Om. Rudy smirks and looks at Bhavya.

Ru:(wahh, what a question)haan such a feel

Gauri glares at him.
