——Thursday 1 week without Jungkook and the guys——

It had been 1 week since the talent show , and 1 week since Jungkook and the others left to go to Seoul.

Yuna and the girls hung out loads since then, either in college or at Jisoos house after hours. Of course Yuna missed the boys terribly , but hoped they were settling in to their new life in Seoul.

The 4 girls were all sat at a table in the canteen, enjoying each other's company.
"So has miss Hwang heard anything from YG?" Lisa asked. Yuna just lightly smiled and shook her head , "no but don't worry. We just have to be more patient"

"Yuna" Jennie sighed. "It's been over a week"

"Yes so it's still early days. I say after 2 weeks we start worrying"

——2 weeks later——

The same place as last week.

"Yeah Miss Hwang still hasn't heard anything from YG" Yuna spoke , sitting her tray down at the table. "However Yerim did get a call"

"Yerim ? Are you kidding me ?"

"No. She actually got the call 2 days after the show" Yuna sighed at Jennie. "I guess YG didn't like our different approach to the performance. Classic music really is just preferred"

"Bullshit" Jennie snapped. "We brought something new to that show. We were the only ones to do an original song with original choreography"

"Jennie-."

"No it's not fair. We did choreography that allowed us to do more then just tap our feet and move our wrists in circles Yuna. We deserve a call from YG"

"I agree with her" Lisa spoke. "Out of everyone , including Yerim we stayed back the most after college and practiced and practiced. You even had to put blister plasters on your feet before the show"

"I'm not saying we don't deserve to become trainees. I'm just saying it's not our fault YG hasn't called" Yuna spoke , "YG just didn't like our style of music"

"Because it's too different" Jisoo huffed. "Not classy enough"

"Well Blackpink aren't a classy group" Lisa spoke. "They are bad ass with a passion for performing. If YG don't like that then I don't want to work for a company like that"

The others started talking about how hard they worked , but Yuna found her self zoned out. Sure it was discouraging not getting a call back from YG , but that didn't make her not want to be part of the company. In fact. Any company would be fine for her. As long as she was able to get the chance to perform as a career , she would be happy.

Singing class

"So" Miss Hwang spoke. "As you already know 3 of our students from this class have left to become trainees. Now I don't want you to feel jealous , because you all have the talent to do the same. Some people are just more lucky to have their chance earlier"

Yuna just smiled at Miss Hwang , knowing she was talking about her. But she wasn't jealous of the guys and was happy for them. She just missed them terribly , especially Jungkook.

"Now we are focusing on soft melodies this week. So I want you to all choose a song to perform on video , and email it to me this weekend"

Jisoo held her hand up. "Miss , can we pair up ?"

"No Jisoo this will be a solo project. Now class is dismissed"

Jisoo sighed , letting her hand fall back down before turning to Yuna. "Have you got a song in mind ?"

"I know a song called Let It Go on guitar"

"Huh ! From Frozen ??"

"No silly" she chuckled , packing away her bag. "James Bay"

"Never heard of him"

"He's an English singer and songwriter. His songs are really beautiful in his language"

"Your song will be English ?"

Yuna just nodded and stood up. "I like singing in English really. I find it gives me longer notes"

"I'm just gonna accept the fact that you will be our groups translator"
Jisoo laughed , walking down the steps of the stands with her. "That is if we ever make it as a group"

"We will one day. Like I said we just need to be patient"

They both entered the corridor , heading towards Yunas locker where Jennie was waiting. Once they reached her , they saw that she held a leaflet in her hands.

"Look. Cube entertainment are holding auditions here at Busan Arts ! Let's audition!"

"Where did you get this ?" Jisoo asked , snatching the leaflet out of Jennie's hand. Yuna leaned over , reading the same information.

"I found it near one of the bins outside. Someone must have dropped it"

"Oh my god. The auditions are tomorrow! How could Miss Hwang not mention this to us ?" Yuna questioned.

"That's not important. What's important is that we have to audition!" Jisoo spoke.

"But it says for solo acts only" Yuna spoke

"What ?" Jennie spoke , taking the leaflet back. "Where does it say that I don't see it it says it right there ok wow"

"Solo acts?"Yuna questioned. "But ..we want to be a group don't we ?"

The girls just sighed , realizing the truth that they weren't gonna be able to perform as a group again anytime soon.

"Hey girls" Lisa smiled , wrapping an arm around Yuna. "What are we talking about?"

"Auditions for Cube Entertainment" Jennie spoke , leaning her back against the locker.

"Here?"

She just nodded , passing Lisa the leaflet. "But it's for solo acts only"

"Well. We will all still audition"
Lisa spoke , making the girls eyes widen.

"You wanna still audition ?" Yuna questioned. "But what about Blackpink?"

Lisa just looked at her. "Yuna I love our group as much as you do. But if it's been 2 weeks and YG still haven't called back. We have to take any chance we can get"

"But ..I love performing with you guys" Yuna spoke.

Jisoo and Jennie just smiled at her , feeling the same way. Lisa just returned the smile. "I do too. But like I said..we have to take any chance we can get"

"She's right" Jisoo spoke. "I don't want to not take this chance"

"Me neither" Lisa spoke. "I'm sorry we can't perform together . But if we all get accepted , at least we will be under the same company"

"True" Yuna spoke. "It just won't be the same as Blackpink"

"Blackpink made me perform out on that stage" Jennie spoke. "There is no way I would have done that performance as a solo act"

"Me neither. You girls made me love dancing ..and I'm terrible at it" Yuna laughed. "I don't wanna audition as a solo artist...If it means I won't enjoy it as much as I would performing with you three"

"I'm not auditioning" Jennie spoke. "Not if it means the end of Blackpink"

"Jisoo?" Yuna spoke. Looking at her with eyes of plead. Plead for her to want to fight for Blackpink to stay together.

"Yeah ok fine" she spoke . "Blackpink means too much to me I guess". Yuna just smiled at her , linking her by the arm.

"Lisa?" Jennie asked , seeing Lisa just stare down at the leaflet. "Blackpink ..or a solo ?"

"My dream is to perform no matter what"

"So..what does that mean ?"

"I want to perform for the rest of my life" she spoke , crumpling the leaflet up into a ball. "But not without you three"

"Yes !" Yuna smiled , pulling the girls into a group hug. "This is cringey but I don't care" she laughed , jumping on her feet as they all hugged.

"Yuna you are just cheesy and cringey in general" Jisoo laughed, wrapping an arm around Yunas shoulder.

Yuna was now at home and in her bedroom, practicing some chords on her guitar. She kept glancing over at her phone , waiting for a text from the groupchat that hadn't been used in over a week.

No midnight messages from Jin. Or selfies from Jungkook. No bickering between Hoseok and Yoongi. She missed all of her boys.

She decided to start her homework for Miss Hwangs class , grabbing her phone and turning on the camera to video record her self. She placed the phone on the ground and sat in front of it with her guitar , hitting record.

*PING PING PING*

She swiped off her camera and straight onto the video call from Jungkook straight away. The moment his face appeared she felt her lips curve into a smile , holding her phone so close to her face. "Hi baby !" She smiled , waving at him all exited.

"Hey" he smiled. "I haven't spoken to you in so long I'm sorry. We have all been busy with vocal training and dance training"

"No it's ok I understand. I've missed you so much ! Your hair has gone lighter !"

"Yeah. We've been out in the sun a lot lately when ever we get a break"

"It looks nice. I'm glad you are getting breaks outside too"

"Yeah. We get about 3 hours a day

"I see you are wearing all black again" she smiled at him, seeing him wearing a dark leather jacket.

"It's Namjoons but I think I'm gonna keep it" he laughed. "I've been stealing the guys clothes a lot recently"

"Hey at least it's not me stealing yours"

"Yeah true" he chuckled , looking away for a few seconds before turning back to face her. "You know ..it's not the same without you with us. I miss you"

Yuna just lightly smiled at him , trying her best not to ball out and pour out how much she had missed him this past week.
"Yeh..I miss you all a lot"

"Jungkookie is that Yuna ?" Jimins voice was heard , making Yuna smile more. Seconds later Jimin and Hoseoks faces popped in front of Jungkooks,their faces lighting up with smiles.

"Why didn't you tell us she was on call !?" The boy wined. "Guys !" Jimin ran towards the door , shouting out that Yuna was on call.

Seconds later , Namjoon, Tae , Jin and Yoongi entered Jungkooks bedroom in the dorm. "Yuna!" Taehyung smiled , taking a seat on Jungkooks lap.

"Hi" she smiled , going to sit on her bed so she could rest against the headboard. "How are you all ?"

"Miserable with out you!" Jin pouted. "None of these guys listen to a word I say without you being around"

"Not true. Yuna don't listen to him" Hoseok spoke.

"Ahh Hoseok have you and Yoongi been winding each other up?" She smirked.

"Maybe.."

"And Taehyung. I bet you've been leaving your junk all over the place"

"He has !" Jimin whined. "Always in my room"

"Yuna we need you here !" Jin whined. "I hate being so far from you"

"I hate it too"

"How has college been?" Jungkook asked, still having Taehyung sat on his lap. "Yerim hasn't bothered you has she ?"

"No. She's gonna be  soon. YG excepted her as a trainee"

"You're kidding"

"Nope" she shrugged. "2 days after the talent show she got a call"

"And you didn't?"

"No. Me and the girls were gonna audition for Cube Entertainment, but we didn't want to split as a group and they were only doing solo auditions"

"That's a shame" Namjoon spoke. "Company's should be willing to take on groups as well as solo acts"

"Saying that though. Big Hit haven't taken on any female artists yet" Hoseok spoke.

"Really ?" Yuna questioned. "None of the female auditions passed?"

"Nope. Not a single one" the boy replied.

"Wow. Well I don't know what me and the girls are planning on doing now. We are hoping we will have another chance at an audition some where"

"Just keep trying your best at college" Jin smiled. "That's all you can do right now"

"I know. It's just worrying me because I'm 18 now. I should be starting my trainee years sooner then later at this age like you guys"

"Age doesn't matter babe" Jungkook spoke. "Jin and Yoongi Hyung are 19 and they are starting their first year as trainees"

"Exactly" Yoongi spoke. "Don't get your self all worked up over your age. You will just stress too much"

"I know. But you know how worked up I got my self over the last audition"

"Yeah well you are too much of a perfectionist that's why" Taehyung laughed.

"True" she smiled.

"So how has your week been?" Jungkook asked. "What have you been up to?"

"Just singing classes mainly. I've been focusing on vocals more then dance and English. I've just finished a homework task right now"

"Which was ?"

"We had to sing a soft melody song for Miss Hwang and video it. I sang one by an English artist"

"Yeah we won't know him" Yoongi chuckled , crossing his arms as he leaned against the wall near the phone.
"Go on say the name"

"James Bay"

"I know him !" Hoseok gasped. "Nah just kidding" . The others including Yuna just chuckled.

"I knew it was too good to be true. The day Hoseok knows who James Bay is , will be the day I can dance like Jason Derulo"

"Who ?" Hoseok questioned. Yuna just face palmed her face , "oh my god you uncultured swines" she groaned , making the others laugh.

Yuna continued talking to the boys for another hour , just talking about their daily schedules and anything really.

"Look guys I've loved talking to you. But it's now 9:00pm and I'm up early so I'll have to love you and leave you"

"Get some sleep Noona" Jungkook spoke, pushing Taehyung off of his lap to grab his phone. He smiled , holding it near his face. "Forever" he spoke , confusing the others.

"Forever" she smiled back , waving at the screen to the others. "Night guys"

"Night"
"Bye byeeee"
Night night Sunshine"
"Adios"
"Night"
All different replies came out of them all as they waved from behind Jungkook. She ended the call before she felt her self her tear up, feeling her heart ache with how much she missed them.

That had been the first time in a whole week that she had spoken to any of them. Even Jungkook.

With their tight schedule of practices and training, theywere always exhausted , making them rarely go on their phones anymore.

*knock knock*

"Come in"

Opening the door , Chanri popped her head around the corner. Her hair was up in space buns , a large burgundy shirt covering her body. "Hey Yun" she spoke.

Yuna just smiled at her , wiping her eye with the back of her hand. "Hey what's up?"

"You good ?" Chanri raised her brows at Yuna. She just nodded , even though she felt really emotional after her call with the others. "You sure ?"

"Yeah. I guess I just miss the others more then I thought I would that's all. What's up?"

"Ah" Chanri just nodded. "It doesn't matter. I'll ask another time"

"No no im fine honestly. What's up ?"

Chanri could tell how much Yuna missed Jungkook, but knew if she tried talking about him with her she would only get more upset. "Well. I need to borrow some money that's all. For some hair dye"

"I can't lend you any sorry. I'm saving up"

"Saving for what ?"

"I want to save up for a train ticket. Me and mum were talking about me visiting the guys for a weekend. I just need to save money first"

"Ah. Well your birthday will be coming up soon. Please I really need this hair dye , I swear my roots are turning grey !"

"Chanri you are in your twenties . You can't be going grey-."

"Please Yuna" Chanri held her hands together, begging. "I promise I'll give you loads of birthday money , you can save up for a train ticket with that money"

"Chanri if you had loads of money to give me , you would just buy your own hair dye"

"Yuna please"

"Channy..no. This visit is too important I'm sorry"

"Ugh Fine. I knew I wouldn't persuade you"

"And anyway you still owe me money for you last two packs of cigarettes"

Chanri just awkwardly looked at her sister , realizing she was already in debt to her for the last hundred times she borrowed money. "Well ..I better get to sleep goodnight!" She spoke before quickly closing the door behind her.

Yuna just shook her head before checking her phone for any messages.
None.

I miss you guys :(

Meanwhile Jungkook was nearly passing out at his desk in his bedroom , feeling his eyes become heavier.

"Jungkook" Jimin nudged him by the shoulders. "If you are sleepy go to bed. We are all going now"

"I need ..I need to read the schedule for tomorrow" he spoke , rubbing his eyes as he attempted to read out the schedule papers in front of him.

Jimin took them out of his hands. "I know the schedule. Dance training at 6-10am . Then we are going to the new vocal trainers for 2 hours after . Then break. Then we have one more dance training class and then back to the dorm"

Jungkook just nodded , yawning as he stretched back. Today was an exhausting day , but all he could think about was Yuna. How if she saw him so exhausted , she would make him sit down straight away and cuddle him to sleep. He missed her, and so did the others. She was the member of the group that would keep everyone laughing and in high spirits.

"Get some sleep kookie" Jimin sighed , patting the boys back and leaving the room.

Friday

Yuna and the girls were in the dance studio, kept company from the sound of dripping water and the occasional fly that flew past. The heating had completely broke , making it a lot colder in there.

But Lisa was adamant that they should be practicing some more dance skills , in case any sudden auditions came up. They learnt that the dance to As If Its Your Last wasn't what people were looking for , so they decided to learn a more cutesy dance.

"Lisa I'm not feeling this" Jennie spoke. "I mean , Twice TT .."

"It's cute . Fresh and what people seem to be looking for" Lisa replied. "We learnt from our first mistake, and that is that sassy isn't wanted"

"Not true Lis" Yuna spoke. "Mamamoo are both cute and sassy, which was what our style was. I don't want to abandon our that"

"Yeah it's stupid" Jennie added , "we are Blackpink ..our name literally stands for a contrast between cute and sassy"

"We would be going against our own name Lisa" Jisoo spoke. "I do get what she means though guys. If YG didn't like our style , then we have to think of other styles"

"Jisoo no" Jennie spoke. "Our style is literally who we all are, it represents us. I don't wanna fake it"

"I say we learn a dance that isn't Twice. Come on Lis you can't say you prefer cutesy dances rather then sassy right ?"

"Well ..no. But I'm just tired of hearing other people getting chosen to become trainees , and here we are dancing in this dump"

"We just have to keep working hard though" Yuna spoke , placing a hand on Lisa's shoulder. "We will have our chance . It's just taking longer then we want but we have to keep working for it"

Lisa just nodded , running her fingers through her hair. "And just think" Yuna added , "our dance and song is all college have been talking about ..we must have been good"

Lisa smiled."Ok then . Let try out some new choreography then. So"

The girls all started practicing new dance moves to songs they had heard before , making the most of their time they had at the dance studio.

———end of the day

Yuna and the girls were all walking from college , ready to go to their part time jobs. Yuna had been working at convenient store with all three of them , trying to save money for her train ticket.

The girls just wanted to save up some money anyway.

Once they entered the shop , they went to go put on their uniform vests , ready to start a 4 hour shift. Yuna was always in charge of restocking the shelves with Lisa , whilst Jisoo and Jennie managed the tills at the front.

"Yuna" Jennie called from the front. "This woman wants to know if we have any buttercup biscuit snacks left ?"

"Of course" Yuna smiled at the old lady. "Right this way"

"Thankyou dear" the lady smiled , following behind Yuna down the small isle. "I don't have my glasses today and I can't read the labels well"

"Oh it's no problem. I struggle to read clearly sometimes , probably because I'm always on my phone" Yuna spoke , making the woman chuckle. Yuna crouched down , grabbing a packet for the lady.

"Thankyou sweetie" the woman smiled , holding out her hand for the packet.

"Oh no I'll take it to the till for you" she spoke , walking back to the till with the packet. Jennie smiled and scanned it before the lady returned to the front till next to Yuna.

"That will be 2000won please"

The woman searched her purse for any change , but was met with an empty compartment. "Oh..dear. Not again" she whispered , searching each compartment of her purse. "I know I have some"

Yuna just looked at Jennie , feeling sorry for the woman. "Erm ..Miss. There are people waiting behind you" Jennie spoke softly , looking at the 2 men waiting behind Yuna and the old lady.

"Here come to this side" Jisoo smiled near her till , trying to put less pressure on the lady to hurry up.

"I-i brought some pennies out with me today"

"Pennies miss ?" Yuna questioned. "It's 2000won"

The old lady looked at Yuna confused. Yuna just lightly smiled at her , before reaching into her pocket. "Here" she placed some money on the counter, paying for the snacks.

"Oh dear no I can't except that-."

"I've already paid. They are yours now" she smiled , passing the packet to the lady. "Enjoy them".

The old lady just looked at Yuna as if she was going to cry. "Kids these days aren't like you, no longer sweet"

Yuna just smiled , looking at Jennie who smiled back. The old lady bowed , walking out of the door with her biscuit snacks.

"Yuna that was sweet of you" Jennie spoke. "But how do you plan on saving up money if you go treating customers like that"

"I know I know" she sighed , going back to restocking the shelves. Yuna was just less then 10,000 won for her train ticket now. She planned on telling Jungkook about the visit once she was sure she had the money.

2 months later

One by one students from Busan Arts received auditions and calls from companies in Seoul, which just discouraged the girls more and more.

Yuna tried her best to keep them in good spirits as best as she could. But with the absence of the guys, she was finding it hard to lift her own spirits up.

Yuna was sat near the bleachers outside , just scrolling through he phone before lessons started. Her eyes grew wide once she saw a notification on Instagram from Jungkook for a new post.

Yuna couldn't get over how much she missed seeing his face in person. A month was a long time without him and the guys , and she was struggling to cope.

"Yuna !" She heard a familiar voice call. Looking up she saw the girls walking over to her , huge smiles on their faces.

"We have huge news !" Lisa smiled , sitting down next to Yuna. "You aren't gonna believe us but guess what ?"

Yuna just stared at Lisa , unsure as to whether her theory was true.
"D-Did we get a call for an audition ?"

Lisa smiled , shaking her head. "Better"

"What ? Tell me"

"YG called. They are having a contest for new trainees. They got in touch with miss Hwang and asked us to enter with As If Its Your Last !"

"No !"

"Yes!" Jennie smiled , making Yuna look straight at her. "We have another chance to become trainees !!"

Yuna jumped up onto her feet , smiling like a child. "We got another chance ?"

"We got another chance!" Jisoo yelled , jumping up and down with Yuna. They all came together in a group hug, jumping and screaming like children.

"Will they shut up"

"They look like idiots"

"What are they so happy about ?"

Girls spoke as they watched the 4 girls jump and scream. Since the kings of campus left college , the girls were the schools next most popular.

And after their performance, everyone found them selves humming As If Its Your Last around campus. And now that he rumor had spread about the girls being in a competition for YG, everyone was desperately finding ways to get tickets to see them. After all they were kind of representing Busan Arts.

"So when is his competition?" Yuna asked. "Do we have to travel anywhere ?"

"It's here in Busan. But at the music festival grounds .They want the competition to take place some where huge because of all the people who want to buy tickets. Students from all over Korea are coming here to perform in this competition"

"So the competition will be strong" Yuna spoke.

"Yeah. But we just need to practice more now. Make sure we perfect the dance even more"

"We have another chance. Let's not blow it" Jisoo spoke. "Let's just kill it and show them what Blackpink can do when on stage"

"When is the competition?"

"That's the thing .."

Yuna just looked at Jennie , seeing her bite her lip nervously. "It's tonight"

"TONIGHT-."

"But don't worry. I've already sorted our outfits , and we have till 7:00pm to keep practicing. We can do it"

"We have 7 hours" Jisoo added. "We can easily perfect the dance more in 7 hours"

"We can't blow this though" Yuna spoke. "I would have thought we would have had days"

"Hey" Lisa spoke. "If we can make up choreography to an original song..we can slay a performance we've already done once before"

Yuna smiled at Lisa , seeing how much her mood had changed.

"And students from Busan have been streaming our talent show performance on YouTube, so other students will have already heard our song" Jennie added. "And students from here want to come and see us perform , because we are representing Busan Arts!"

"Oh my god" Yuna spoke , covering her mouth in shock. "I can't believe this"

"This is our chance" Jennie spoke. "Thousands of people are gonna see what we can do"

It's finally happening

——Busan Festival Grounds 6:45pm—

"Everyone ok ?" Yuna asked , entering the room where the girls were all sat. "We are on in 15 minutes"

Jennie's eyes widened , looking at a post on instagram. "Have you seen this. It's estimated that over 15,000 people are in the audience"

"No way!" Jisoo spoke , pulling Jennie's phone in front of her. "Holy shit she's right !"

"Ok this is really happening ..it's real and it's happening" Lisa spoke , fanning her face so her makeup would set. "I'm exited but I also feel sick"

"That's the nerves" Yuna spoke , handing Lisa a bottle of water. "I think a boy group is about to perform"

"Check the live stream" Jisoo spoke , getting Jennie to search the YG competition on her phone.

"I've got it" she spoke , signalling Yuna and Lisa to come and look. "They're called TXT from Busan Academy"

"And loads of people knew their song!" Lisa added. "They are all from their school maybe ?"

"No . Other students from other schools have come" Yuna spoke.

"Has anyone from our school come?" Jisoo asked.

"I'm not sure" Yuna spoke. "All I know is that whoever YG prefers tonight, gets a firework towards the end of the performance"

"A firework ?"

"Yeah. It's their big way of letting contestants know whose accepted as a trainee"

"Txt didn't get the firework ?" Lisa spoke.

"I know. But that girl who performed before them did. So she's now a trainee for YG"

"We have to get that firework!" Lisa spoke.

"Ooo another group is about to perform !" Jennie spoke , looking back at her phone screen. "They are called Red Velevt  from Busan Highschool of girls"

"Ok ! Well that's the first girl group of the night and they were amazing but I saw no firework !" Yuna spoke , feeling her nerves grow now. "How are we meant to top that ?"

"Another group !" Jennie spoke. "It's another girl group. From Busan High school of girls as well"

"Blackpink" a woman with a head set spoke , opening the door to their waiting  room. "We are ready for you on stage"

"Oh shit . Oh shit" Yuna spoke, getting all worked up. Jennie took hold of her hand , smiling at her "we've got this. Just like the talent show ok?

"With a load more people" Jisoo laughed, following behind the woman. "Yuna just slay it. We are out there with you"

"I love you girls !" Lisa yelled , walking up the steps to the stage after Jisoo.

The girls exited the stage before jumping together in a group hug.

"We got the firework !!"
Yuna yelled. "We actually got the firework ! We are trainees !!"
