Just now I saw the ipkknd parivaar awards. Happy and delighted getting the Ultimate author award. Being a struggling, amateur writer it was like a recognition for me. And knowing I have few set of peoples who love me for my writings, I have no words to describe. It's like I achieved something with my horrible writings. I want to share few more words but don't wish to torture you all with my paragraph when you're eager to read this update. So without further ado, here's the update.

Before that there was a surprise waiting for you all, for that you need to reach the end of this part.

Khushi Pov

My eyes filled with tears seeing the surprise Arnav gave me. My fingers grazed the soft fabric. The feel of it beneath my fingers reminded me of the time of our marriage when I shrugged all the beautiful things away.

"How did you get it here?" I asked him raising my eyes.

"It's not a big deal" He shrugged his shoulders. True that, it's not a tough job for him to bring our reception dress here. The same A&K engraved gown was now in my arms waiting for me to grace it with my presence in it.

"Don't get emotional now. Get ready baby.." I smiled at him as he wiped the corner of the eyes where water drops are ready to spill out.

Pouting I took it and left for washroom. Slipping into the gown, I admired myself on the full length mirror. Devoid of make up the dress enhanced my natural look. Probably after long time I am admiring myself. Getting out, I almost ignored my delicious husband. Yup, delicious enough to gobble him down both by his looks and the love shining eyes.

"Don't eat me with your eyes" I palmed his eyes not able to refrain myself from blushing, shying and what not.

"Say it yourself too" He retorted pushing my palms down.

What? I frowned at him.

"Do you think I have no idea about your thoughts?"

Strangely my heart beats in nervousness. I couldn't dechiper what he meant by his words.

"What do you mean?" I asked cautiously.

In reply his arms came captivated me between his torso pulling me towards him "Haven't once you thought to bite and gobble me down through your throat"

My cheeks begin to burn in shyness. How did he know? Not once, but many times I thought to lick him like my favourite icecream. My body shuddered at my thoughts. What the heck, I should be arguing with him than accepting my shameless thoughts.

"You look gorgeous. I never knew you would blush cutely" He flicked my nose giving a quick peck. Fortunately, he left the earlier topic.

"Aren't we getting late?" I raised the question not wanting him to get reminded of earlier question else I would die out of embarrassment.

"Yeah.. Our talks are not yet finished" He added rasing my heart beat.

Averting my eyes, I broke our embrace.

"I have to get ready"

He nodded giving me needed space. At the exact next half an hour I was ready. Ready to be again his, willingly.

Opening the door, I saw him sitting on the couch showing his back "Arnavvvv.."

He stood up abruptly showing his eagerness. Flashing his heart warming smile he extended his palm. Taking slow steps I slipped mine into his.

"Shall we?"

I shook my head as yes. A wave of excitement and nervousness burst in my system.

"Nervous?" I was brought back from my thoughts when he palmed my cheeks. I looked at him not knowing what to tell.

He gave a comfort hug "It's just a ritual nothing else. Calm down baby.."

Taking a deep breath, I gripped his palms tight, stepping outside our room.

The drive went in silence whereas I laid my head on his shoulders enjoying the ride.

"I feel like we're having run away marriage" I looked up hearing his words and chuckle.

"While we're getting ready, mom called me and asked about our whereabouts. I was about to spill our marriage details but fortunately I remembered it somehow" He heaved a sigh and this time it's my turn to chuckle.

"It's partially true" I laughed at his thoughts. Certainly how true his words are. Hiding from the family indeed we're having run away marriage away from our homeland.

"This is the only temple in this surroundings" He said pulling me gently inside the temple.

Noticing the surroundings, I circled my arms around his walking beside him.

The day has come. The time has come.

The temple was not much crowded. On the right side there was a set up for marriage. Probably for us. Like my guess, he guided me towards the temporary mandap.

He pressed my palm in a soothing way before making me sit beside him. With that lengthy gown it took hell five minutes to sit properly.

"Here take this garland"

We looked each other at the same time. He blinked his eyes taking the garland. I took mine smiling from end to end.

"Are you ready to become mine wifey?" I blushed at his whisper while the pandit also blushed seeing Arnav gesture.

"Double okkk"

Next moment I bit my lips searching for a place to hide. He shared a sound buss on my cheeks followed by putting the garland on my neck.

Rasing my hands, I extended it and put garland around his. My heart picked it's pace beating erratically. There's no stopping henceforth. There's nothing going to hold me back from getting love from him giving my love in return. There's no past demons in my life. It was going to be only, love.

"Khushi" I raised my eyes and met with questioning eyes of his. Lowering my pupils down I saw him having mangalsutra in his hands waiting for my permission.

What fortune did I done in my previous birth that I am getting all this love from this man? Even after my confession he's still asking my permission before clasping the mangalsutra. I cannot be more lucky than this.

My eyes misted involuntarily. He shook his head in negative. I gave him a beaming smile simultaneously shaking my head back and forth giving him the permission. Permission to make me as his better half. Permission to take rights over me as a husband, giving me the rights over him in return.

The misted eyes spilled the tears out of its sockets when his arms goes behind my nape clasping the mangalsutra. My eyelids closed in content. Instead of shivers, I felt over the moon when his lips touched where my mangalsutra laid proudly.

"Open your eyes" His voice came out as whisper. I opened it instantly obliging. He took Sindoor and rubbed it on my partition.

"It's time for pheras"

He looked at the pandit and then got up extending his palms for me to raise myself on my feet.

With difficulty and his help, I got up. Clasping my palms into his, he walked around the fire dragging me gently.

"You will offer me food and be helpful in every way. I will cherish you and provide for the welfare and happiness of you and our children" He recited the vow.

When my turn comes I raised my eyes with a smile "I'll always love you"

He looked at me surprised and continued to recite further "Together we will protect our house and children"

"I'll always love you"

"May we grow wealthy and prosperous, strive for the education of our children. May our children live long"

"I'll always love you"

"You have brought sacredness into my life, and have completed me. May we be blessed with noble, obedient children. May our children live long"

"I'll always love you"

"What the!" He shrieked astounded.

I hit him on his arms "That was not a vow" He raised his brows.

As per pandit guidance, I preceded him walking forward.

"You are my best friend, and staunchest well-wisher. You have come into my life, and have enriched it. God bless you"

"I'll always love you"

"May you be filled with joy and peace"

"I'll always love you"

"We are now husband and wife, and are one. You are mine and I am yours for all time"

"As God is witness, I am now your wife. We will love, honour and cherish each other forever" I finished the vow with fluttering smile.

He embraced me in his arms. "Seems like Khushi Singh Raizada wrote a new vows?" I felt goosebumps hearing my name.

I raised my eyelids and met his directly "You already fulfilled the vows you promised in our marriage. It was me who was against this marriage. It was me who failed the vows. It was me who rejected your love. It was me who mercilessly thrown your care and affection away. Today I want to rectify all of my mistakes. All my being was to love you Arnav. By loving you the actual vows will automatically fell in place. Why to recite the whole lengthy sentence when I have short and crisp vow"

I winked as he stood with awestruck expression.

"You grew your brain by staying with me"

I pouted pushing his fingers which was tapping my head.

"But, you are not much intelligent as you're showing" He said after a brief pause. I frowned looking at him.

Not minding about the surroundings he bend down towards my ear "You're wrong. I didn't fulfilled one vow"

What is he saying? As usual my brain failed to grasp the meaning of his words. I think, I need to take tutions for understanding his words.

"I promised about our child which was still in queue. So technically I didn't fulfilled my vows"

I couldn't refrain the warmness spreading across my cheeks. Taking a fistful of his sherwani I laid my head on his chest shying away. He chuckled and then pecked my partition. I closed my eyes in content.

Life was such a wonder. Thinking Siddharth was my life, my love I wasted my whole four years of life. Even then I never believed in love nor in Arnav and in my relationship with him. But it did changed. Changed from thinking arnav would be my second Love to Arnav was my Life.  Now I cannot imagine a life without him. Finally like he wished, Arnav-Khushi Hamesha!!!
