The next day piper woken up and got into her swim suite then realised the bruises were still visible "well shit" she mumbled as she put her clothes on top and grabbed her bike then started the ride to the quarry. Along the way she met Beverly and they rode the rest of the way together "so you & stan ay?" Bev says with a smirk and piper blushes "what can I say, I'm in love with the boy" she says and they soon arrived. They slowly started to undress and piper ignored bevs stared as she ran past the boys and jumped in the water "holy shit" she hear richie yell and she could feel stan's eyes on her at all the times. A second later bev joined her and soon the boys did too, they started splashing each other and playing chicken with Beverley on Bill's shoulder and piper on stan's. Piper had never had so much fun in her life and it was defeated a feeling she never wanted to forget about it, after they had a little swim the boys stared as the girls sunbathed and stan noticed the bruises on piper.

That definitely peaks his worry for her giving how her step mother reacted when he dropped her off, he definitely had to ask her about it another time. As the girls turn to the boys they all looked around and acted like they hadn't just been stearing at them, piper got up and sat next to Stanley. He smiled and put his arm around her making her smile "H-h-h-how long have you two been together then?" Bill asked them "just a couple of days" stan said happily. It was clear to anyone that this boy was head over heels for piper and they definitely had a future together "wait what's this?" Richie asks pulling a folder out of Ben's bag. As they each have a look they noticed it was full of the history of derry "well when I first move here I didn't have anyone to hang out with so I started hanging out in the library" Ben says "you went to the library on purpose?" Richie says. Piper sent a glare richie's way "why is it all murders and missing kids?" Eddie asked "derry isn't like any other town I've been in before, they did a study once and it turns our die or disappear six times the national average" ben says. That sent chills up my spine "you read that?" Beverly says "and that's just grown ups, kids are worse, way way worse" ben added on "I got more stuff at home of you wanna see it" ben says and everyone but eddie wanted to go. They of course went and piper could feel stan taking glances at her as they all rode along, she realized that it probably wouldn't be long till they all found out the truth, she was just so afraid they'd see her weak.
