Chapter 2
He was staring at me. He would glance down and look at my body or look around the room every now and again but otherwise he kept eye contact. I didn't like looking in his eyes so I looked everywhere but them. My instincts were telling me to run and get as far away from him as possible, but I was paralyzed by fear. I was going to say something but then he opened his mouth to talk.
"I am Alpha Alex, I am 18 years old finishing up my senior year at high school. I rule over the Whitefire Pack. You probably have no clue what I am talking about and that is ok, I will bring you up too speed slowly. We need to leave this place, anyone could be listening and my pack is much safer." I nodded my head showing him that I understood. I started to stand up but forgot about my injury to my hip and immediately sat back down on the bed. Within milliseconds Alpha Alex was right by my side supporting some of my weight. "The doctor said that after a few nights of rest you should heal, for now you will get around using a wheelchair." He said pushing one closer to me. He helped me get into a wheelchair by basically picking me up and setting me back down in it. I had one of those stupid hopital gowns on, where they are paper thin and it was slightly cold out but not super cold. I started to shiver more, mostly from the cold and from the frear running through my veins. A black car pulled up and two very big men dressed in suits got out, one held the door open and the other was standing so no one could see inside the car. He nodded at the men before quickly and carefully picked me up and setting me in the car and climbing in next to me. I slided closer to the other door away from Alpha Alex. I must have fallen asleep because I was startled by a car door shutting and the Alpha Alex yelling at someone in a hushed tone. I sat up expecting pain from my hip and leg but didn't really feel anything but a dull ache. Alpha Alex looked over and saw me awake before shooting a glare at another very big and tall handsome man.
"Hello Ivy, I am Mason, the Beta of the Whitefire pack, I help the Alpha make sure the pack training is going good and keeping them safe." He said while bowing a little, which Alpha Alex shot him a glare for. Mason carefully helped me into the wheelchair, while Alfa Jake was talking to someone. I didn't really trust these men but what choice did I have. I mean I have no memory of Alphas, packs and Betas but maybe this is the world I used to live in. But then what happened to my family or pack I guess? "So Ivy we have given you your own room and no one is supposed to be on this floor except the omegas." Mason said as he was wheeling me over to an elevator I think it's called. Its weird I can remember names of things and how to talk but I can't remember my past at all. I nodded my head at Mason as we entered the elevator. It was a short ride and it felt really weird sitting in a wheelchair but the ride was over almost as soon as it started. he wheeled me into a very spacious room. It had a queen size bed, with a love seat right under the bay window as if it was another twin sized bed. Then next to the window was two french doors that i'm sure led into a closet and on the other side of the wall was what I was assuming the bathroom door.
"It beautiful." I whispered and I thought Mason couldn't hear me but apparently he could.
"It sure is, and it's all yours." He said wheeling me over to the bed. "Once you are better Alex will take you shopping, for now here are some of his sisters clothes and a pair of crutches to help you get around. If you need anything Alex's room is right across the hall and mine is next door to the right, don't be afraid to ask." He said laying the crutches on the bed and slowly walking towards the door.
"Thank you." I mumble again, he nodded and walked out the door, shutting it behind him, and now I was left to my thoughts.
