No one's POV:

"Get out of bed."

"No."

Lexa was trying to get dabi out of bed. She wanted to start driving as soon as possible and it was 6:30 in the morning.

"You can sleep when we get into the car."

"Go away."

"Fine. you leave me no choice. RENGOKU!"

"No-"

"Yes! Do you need my assistance?"

"Alright. alright. I'm up. I'm up."

She knew that would work. He'd rather get up and walk to the car himself than have rengoku pick him up and put him in the car

"Nevermind!"

When dabi got into the car he fixed up his chair so he can fall back asleep.

"Try to be carful when driving. I get motion sick."

"I'll be sure to be careful."

Dabi then fell back asleep

Lexa started driving back home.

The first couple of hours were okay. Dabi stayed asleep, L was just being quiet and looking out the window. While rengoku chatted with lexa asking about her home and family.

She occasionally stopped for gas and so the boys could stretch their legs and maybe get some drinks and snacks.

Lexa got herself some energy drinks for when It would get late so she could keep driving.

At night when dabi was awake he chatted with lexa while rengoku slept peacefully.

At one point during the night she had to take a break and get at least 30 minutes of sleep.

So she pulled over near a gas station and got into the very back of her car and laid down to sleep.

{45 minutes later}

She slept a bit longer than intended but whatever she thought it wasn't that big a deal. So she climbed back to the front of the car and started driving again.

She was apparently very lucky cause for most of the drive there has been little to no traffic.

Soon enough that had reached her home

"Finally home sweet home!"

They all carry their luggage into the house. Just then a dog came over and started trying to attack the three men.

But luckily lexa stopped it, it bared its teeth while barking at them

"Shhh. Merida. It's okay girl. Shhh."

It called down once it realized that they weren't a threat. Then it started panting excitedly and licking lexa

"Hahahaha. I missed you too mer!"

"You have a dog?"

Dabi said

"Yup this is my dog Merida! She's a big sweetheart when she isn't trying to bite your face off."

Lexa giggled while petting her dog

After she stopped petting her. Merida ran over to the new people and started sniffing them, and started jumping onto them

"Ow. Her nails."

L said

"Yeah, she probably needs be taken to the groomer. I'll do that later."

Lexa said knowing she's probably going to forget.

"She does seem like a very sweet dog!"

Rengoku said excitedly. He never had a pet before because his father never wanted pets.

Dabi just silently petted her

Lexa put their stuff away and then showed them the rooms each of them could stay in.

She was laying down in her own bed with her dog

When rengoku knocked on her door

She opened it

"Lexa I have made dinner for us!"

Lexa blinked in surprise

"You made dinner?"

He nodded his head, he then grabbed her hand and started leading her down stairs

When she saw the dinner down stairs and she just saw a bunch of baked sweet potatoes.

'Eh. It's probably a good thing he cooked those. I honestly forgot I had them'

"Thank you rengoku it looks delicious."

Lexa said sitting down and began to eat some. She got through two and then she was full. Dabi came down and had one. L just took some chocolate from the cupboard. Rengoku ate the rest.

"Thank you for the food rengoku. It was delicious."

"Eh it was okay."

Lexa then elbowed dabi in the stomach

"As long as it was tasty and was enough to fill up your stomachs! Then I'm glad!"

Lexa then smiled

"Well your all free to do what you want but I'm going to get some sleep. Night dabi, night rengoku."

"Goodnight lexa."

Dabi just looked at her as she walked off to her room

She entered the room got into pajamas then jumped into her bed. Her dog jumped up and snuggling next to her.

The next morning she woke up to loud barking from her dog

It wasn't in her room but coming from down stairs. So she put on her slippers and saw her dog barking at her...hall closet door?

"Merbear. What are you barking at girl? Something in there?"

Then dabi came down with an annoyed look

"Can you get your dog to shut up?"

Lexa rolled her eyes

"I can't control my dog when she's barking at something potentially dangerous."

Then rengoku came downstairs to see why Merida was barking

"Did Merida perhaps find anything interesting and wants us to see?"

"She wouldn't bark much less bark this viciously if she just wanted to show us something. She isn't that type of that dog. She only barks at intruders or strangers."

Just then there was a knock on the closet door, that made all of you move back, and made Merida even louder and more viciously

Somebody was in there?!
