I was sitting on the lovesac with doe in his hairball form on my lap and Belphie hugging one of my arms as he naps. I was scrolling through tumblr when I got a message from ender asking me how its been. I smiled and messaged back

"It's been good. got a couple new roommates. What about you?"

She texted back saying she got new roommates as well and she then asked if she could come tomorrow. Her reason being is because it was going to bennett's birthday and she thought that he and nagito should be able to spend the day together since they became such close friends. I loved the idea! So I texted back.

"Of course you can come! I'll tell my roommates. See you tomorrow!"

She texted back see you tomorrow. I put my phone down and got up. Much to doe's and belphie's dismay

"Nooooo...come back...cuddle..."

I chuckled at Belphie's sleepy mumbles. I sent out a mass text to everyone to come to the living room for an important meeting.

One by one the roommates began to gather in the living room.

"L-lexa can this be quick. I was in the middle of the raid."

"Don't worry lev. This will be quick. I'm just letting you all know that the ender household is coming for a visit."

Some roommates were excited while other not so much.

"Oh? And who might the ender household be Lexi?"

Kafka asked

"Well you see my friend ender has roommates from games and anime just like us. Once in a while they'll come over for a visit. We're setting up a visit for tomorrow because tomorrow is one of the roommates birthday, his name is Bennett and-"

Nagito interrupted me when he heard that.

"Wait! Bennett's birthday is tomorrow?! Oh no! I totally forgot it's a leap year! I'm completely unprepared! I haven't even gotten a present yet!"

I then calmed nagito

"Don't worry Nagito. We'll go out and get Bennett a present. Let me just finish explaining this to Kafka, blade, and March okay? How about you go think about what you want to get Bennett."

Nagito nodded and started thinking of what to get Bennett.

"Okay back to what I was saying. I'll tell you about the roommates she has so you can be prepared. So firstly there is monika. She is pretty normal except like how doe is with me, just not as intense. Just be nice to her and ender and you shouldn't have any problem with her. Next is maki, she pretty quiet and reserved, she is an assassin but she's isn't mean or anything unless you're mean to her, any other time she is actually quite polite. Then there's Flowey...Flowey to put it simply an evil talking flower. Then there's sanemi he's from the same world as mitsuri and rengoku, he has a short temper so I'd suggest you don't socialize with him or bother him. And that includes teasing Kafka.

Kafka giggled a bit while I then gave her a stern look.

"Don't worry Lexi~ I'll be on my best behavior."

"Riiiight. Then there's Isabelle and villager, they are short little creatures, or we'll Isabelle is a dog and villager is...villager. Isabelle can talk but villager not so much, he also tends to have a habit of stealing so I'd say you better watch your stuff. Then there's aether, from what I saw aether is really nice and polite so you shouldn't have a problem with him. Then there's aether's emergency food-"

Some of the roommates started snickering at me, referring to paimon as aether's emergency food.

"Paimon. She a...actually I don't know what she is but she is a little flying something. Who eats a lot and is nice to people who treat her nice. But if you're mean to her she'll give you a ugly nickname. Then there's Bennett. He's a lot like Nagito except instead of being very lucky he has the opposite; he is very unlucky. He also isn't obsessed with hope like Nagito is. He's actually quite positive and is very nice. Who else...oh then there's Xiangling she a chef and a very good one too. She'll probably be in the kitchen most of the time while she's here but she's nice to chat with...then there's kokichi."

Zack groaned very loudly.

"He's...how do I put it...a bit of a troublemaker."

"How so?"

Blade asked

"He is a conical liar and you never know if he's telling the truth or lying. He's that good of an actor, he'll cause problems or annoy you just so he gets a reaction. Who else..oh there's wanderer. He's mostly reserved and isn't really the nicest person to talk to, he'll mostly hang around another roommate named Nahida or Zack. Then there's Tartaglia or Childe as most people call him.

"Um, why is he called Child? Is he like a kid?"

March asked

"Well I'm not entirely sure but I remember ender telling me it's because he's the youngest of a group he apart of. But anyway Childe is generally a nice guy and very friendly. Though he's a fighter and is willing to fight anyone or anything. He loves to spare and is constantly wanting to get stronger. So don't be surprised if he asks you to spar."

I then took a deep breath as I continued

"Okay now onto the last of the roommates. First let's start with nahida. I mentioned her before, nahida is very kind and sweet. She's also very intelligent and she likes socializing, I'm sure you three will like her a lot. Then there venti, venti is generally very chill going and friendly though he is an alcoholic and when he gets drunk he can be a bit much."

"Yeah no kidding, when we did a Skype call and he got drunk he was loud and I think he broke something."

L mentioned which I then nervously laughed

"Then there's zhongli, he's a very refined and older gentleman but he's like Mammon when it comes to money. The last two are the shogun and ei. The shogun is a puppet of ei's she probably won't do much from what ender told me she will most likely patrol around the house and will try and keep peace. Then there's ei, she's a very respectable women who likes sweets. And I think that's oh...I almost forget shuichi...again...he's a lot like L he's a detective and very quiet he's also from a similar world like nagito just a different version, same goes for maki and kokichi. Okay now I think that's it!"

I breathed kinda out of breath since it was a lot of explaining.

"Okay now that's settled. nagito, do you know what you want to get Bennett? We have a few hours to get some things."

I told him while getting my keys and my wallet. I first checked to see if I had my card...nope.

"Mammon. Please give me my card."

"Hey! Why do ya instantly assume I have it? Can't you think I'm a bit better than that. I'm your first man!"

I raised my eyebrow at him. Then he sighs and hands me my card.

"Thank you. Alright nagito let's go, we'll find something for you to give to Bennett for his birthday."

"Wow! lexa your so kind for helping human trash like me and I know I'm probably overstepping my bounds but can we also get stuff to make Bennett a birthday cake I don't know what flavor he likes but we can ask and maybe have xiangling make it."

Me and nagito went to the store and nagito told me what he wanted to do for Bennett's birthday and it was the cutest idea that I almost started crying. It was so pure and wholesome! I did not hesitate to get everything Nagito asked for, it was for a good reason, and Nagito doesn't ask much, and it was for Bennett!

Then when we returned home I put the groceries away and then I helped nagito set up his idea for Bennett. Then after that I went to bed.

6 hours later at about 7 am I got up and started tidying up the house and then Mitsuri came in and we started making breakfast for when the ender household arrives since they'll most likely be hungry from the long drive.

At about 9:45 most of the roommates were awake and ready for the day except Zack, dabi, and leviathan who were still asleep. But I knew ender would be arriving very soon so I unfortunately had to wake dabi and Zack. Zack wasn't as reluctant when I told him he'd be seeing wanderer and nahida again but dabi said to give him a while and he'll be up. I let leviathan keep sleeping because he wasn't going to interact with anyone from the other household so it didn't even matter.

At about 10 I got a text from ender that she was here.

"Alright everyone! They're here! All of you are to be polite and on your best behavior!"

I then walk over to the door and open it.

Ender smiled and waved at Lexa.

"Hi Lexa! So good to see you! How have you been?"

"Hi! It's good to see you too! Honestly things have been really good lately."

Lexa moved out the way so everyone could walk in

"Please everyone come in."

They all began coming in, politely thanking Lexa (or flat out ignoring her-). Then, Furina came up and looked at Lexa.

"Um...You're Lexa, right?"

Lexa nodded

"Yup. That's me! It's nice to meet you furina!"

Furina blinked and began smiling nervously but trying to keep a confident look.

"O-Oh! S-so you do already know who I am, huh?"

"Of course. While I don't play the game, Ender does and I follow the story of genshin."

Furina then breathed and put her hands on her hips and said confidently.

"Ah, well. It is such a pleasure to be meeting you, caretaker of the 'Lexa household'."

Furina took a dramatic bow, pretending like Lexa was some sort of important figure.

Lexa giggle

"There is no need to be so formal. I hope we can all get along and have a fun time!"

"Hm...a fun time...yes, that sounds splendid!"

Furina smiled and moved along.

"Well, I must go to where my companions are. Toodles!"

Before Lexa could say anything, Neuvillette came in and hummed to himself before looking at Lexa.

"Thank you for allowing such a large group of people come in your home. I apologize if it gets cramped."

"Oh. I don't mind at all! The more the merrier!"

Neuvillette hums and nods.

"...Hm...you have my gratitude, and my thanks."

Neuvillette smiled gently at Lexa.

"My pleasure! I hope you're able to have a nice time here!"

"I will try-"

Just then, sneezing noises were heard in the kitchen. Ender blinked before recognizing.

"...Ohhh....uh...is Satan in the kitchen?"

Lexa closed the door once everyone was in and nodded

"Yeah he was getting some tea and frostbite was on his shoulder."

"...I forgot to remind you of Venti's extreme cat allergies, didn't I?"

"Yeah...but I should've remembered. I'll go get them out of the kitchen."

Lexa then walked in and got frostbite out of the kitchen with Satan following her with his cup of tea.

As they left, meanwhile in the kitchen, Venti's sneezing lowered down. He sighed and rubbed his nose, trying not to sneeze again.

"Sorry, cat allergies...argh..."

Mitsuri handed venti a tissue box

"It's quite alright. It's not like it's something you can control."

"Thanks."

Venti chuckled and accepted the tissue box. He blew his nose and wiped it before throwing it away. He then smiled.

"Ahhh, that's better!-oh! Apples!"

Venti immediately grabbed an apple when he saw it in a bowl.

"Oh right. Everyone! We have some food for you all! Come eat."

Everyone then headed towards the kitchen.

Everyone then began eating...except Furina. Nahida looked over at her.

"What's with the hesitation, Focalors?"

"Ahh...just...I already ate cake in the van...I'm sorry...had I had known that they would spend time making food for our arrival, I would've saved my hunger."

Furina sighed.

"It's okay. Whatever is left over beel will probably eat. So you don't need to feel bad."

Said L as he came down from his room to join mostly to see the new roommates Ender had brought.

Furina nodded.

"I see. Well, at least I don't need to feel entirely bad...um..."

Furina looked at L.

"What is your name?"

"I go by L. Your furina correct?"

Furina blinked...how did he know? Her eyes drifted over to the traveler. She then looked forward. She had to convince the traveler she was the god of justice when he reached that timeline, so...just for now...

Furina put her hands on her hips and smiled confidently.

"Hmm, that is correct! Although, I am also Focalors, the God of justice and ruler all over Fontaine!"

Furina hummed.

"Though...I suppose you can just call me Furina if you just want to go by something easier."

L nodded and slightly bow his head

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm someone who is all about Justice."

Furina blinked.

"Oh-um-w-well of course! I can see that you are someone who believes in justice and must fulfill it to the brink. No criminal can go unjustified when it comes to you, oh great detective."

Furina said confidently with a smirk. She was kinda just saying a bunch of nonsense, she held a confident smile but she was freaking out because she didn't remember whether or not Ender said L was the detective but she made a guess.

"That's right, as a detective it's my job to bring criminals to justice and have them punished for their misdeeds. Even if I do it in secret."

Furina chuckled.

"Ahh, so you must be the kind of detective who refuses to show his face to the world. For good reason, I presume? After all, if people knew whose face the great detective belonged to, I'm sure that you most definitely...wouldn't be left alone to focus on cases too long. Not only that, but assassins and criminals could use such information against you, I presume I am correct, right?"

Furina confidently placed her hands on her hips.

"That is definitely a reason. But I'd be also putting not just myself but everyone else in danger as well. I'm not sure if you're aware but we try to keep the fact that we're from different dimensions a secret from the world."

"Oh...you must have misunderstood."

Furina shook her head before speaking in a soft and somewhat drained voice.

"Obviously, we don't want people to know we're from different universes here, that would lead to...things that I would rather not discuss. No, I was talking about the reasons you keep your face hidden in your world...unless I got something mixed up?"

"Oh...that is correct. But there's another reason besides just people trying to find me or criminals coming after me. You see where I'm from there was a killer that could kill someone with just a name and a face."

"J-Just a name and a face?!"

Furina asked, a little too fast. She was surprised, but once she realized her mistake of being talking too fast, sounding somewhat scared, she cleared her throat.

"A-Apologies, that just uh...caught me off guard... a person with that kind of power must be scary to be in a world like that...uh-f-fortunately for me, I am a God so I have no need to worry about that!"

L then decided to reassure her

"There is no reason to be scared as far as I'm aware nobody in this world has that power. So rest assured you are as safe as you could be."

Futons then blushed with embarrassment and crossed her arms and turned her head away.

"I-I was not scared! I-I was...um...s-simply concerned for your world's safety, I-is all!"

Mitsuri then came over

"You three should try and get some food before beels eats it all."

Before L or Furina could answer, Neuvillette came over. Neuvillette looked at Furina.

"It is quite delicious, Lady Furina. You should try it."

"I told you, I already ate cake in the van and I am no longer hungry...and what did you even get? Did you just drink water?"

"No, I also ate some food. The four cups of water is simply and added bonus to it. The filtered water here truly has a magnificent taste."

Neuvillette stated.

"Well even if you aren't hungry you can still join us at the table so you can socialize with everyone. Oh! Maybe you could also drink some tea. Satan made a pot earlier and there still some left over."

Mitsuri suggested.

Furina looked down as if she were a little nervous.

"I...erm...I just..."

"If you wish, I could accompany you if you are still unsure about the people here, Lady Fu-"

"I-I'm not nervous! Pfft, what kind of God would be-uh-nervous! No, no no! Not nervous, at all! See! I'm going in!"

Furina said fast. Before Neuvillette could answer, Furina dashed past him and ran into the kitchen. Neuvillette sighed.

"...did I perhaps pressure her into joining us? I really hope not! I-I just didn't want her to feel left out!"

Mitsuri said, hoping she didn't do that.

Neuvillette looked at Misturi.

"No need to feel bad. Furina may act like a confident being, but when it comes to making friends she tends to be more on the shy side. She hasn't had any real friends until recently, she is still shy when it comes to making them. Furina may not have necessarily wanted to interact, but she's open to it. However, it may take a little time. If I were to guess, she's probably just sitting near the other archons, as she's uncomfortable towards anyone else. No worries, she was not pressured by you."

Mitsuri sighed in relief

"Oh, I'm glad. Thank you for the reassurance."

"You are quite welcome. You are Misturi, correct?"

Neuvillette then turned to L.

"And you are L, I overheard your name while Lady Furina was talking to you."

Neuvillette then bowed his head to both of them.

"My name is Neuvillette, and I am the chief justice in my world."

"Yup I'm mitsuri kanaroji! The love hashira! I'm from the same world as sanemi. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Mitsuri said excitedly, then L spoke

"I am L, I'm sure you have heard of what I do. As someone else who seeks justice it's nice to make your acquaintance."

Neuvillette smiled lightly.

"A pleasure to meet both of you. Now, shall we go back to eating with the rest of the group?"

Mitsuri nodded excitedly and started dragging L with her to the kitchen.

Neuvillette went with them. They then entered. Just like Neuvillette had guessed, Furina was seated right in between Nahida and Ei. She looked nervous before she spotted Neuvillette.

"Ah-m-my lovely assistant! Farewell friends, I think I just might have to go to my uh-assistant's side!"

Furina then ran over to Neuvillette and went next to him. Neuvillette sighed.

Everyone was at the table talking, getting it know each other. Kafka started talking to ender.

"So. You must be ender I presume?"

"Yep, that's me. Your Kafka."

"Oh? You already know who I am?"

"Of course. I played Honkai star rail before. In fact, I was the one who introduced it to Lexa, along with Genshin because I was too obsessed with it..."

Lexa giggled. Kafka smiled a bit more

"That makes sense. Then I guess I don't have to introduce bladie~"

"Nope, I know who Blade is too. I didn't really expect him to show himself, speaking about how unsocial he is."

Kafka giggled a bit

"Bladie didn't want to join but I convinced him to join us. It's only right to meet our guest."

"That's right. Although, I really doubt he's eating. I'm unsure of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Blade trying to starve himself to death to be one of the attempted deaths he's had."

"Well we can't have that~ bladie~ you should eat some of your food, Lexi and Mitsuri put a lot of work into it~"

Blade groaned and ate some of the food.

Ender chuckled.

"Hm...anyways, it's great to meet you in person!"

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well! You're so nice and polite. I see why you and Lexi are friends!"

"Oh-thanks."

Ender chuckled, as she didn't know what else to say to that. Kafka decided to help

"I should probably let you get back to eating your food. It is delicious."

Ender then nodded.

"O-Oh. Ok, see you later!"

Kafka then left to go sit next to Blade. Just then, Childe ran right up to Lexa.

"Hey, Lexa! Lexa! Lexa! I'm done eating! Once Rengoku and Misturi are done eating, can we spar???"

Lexa swallowed the food she was eating before she spoke

"if mitsuri and rengoku are fine with it. But you three need to go to the backyard and do it far away from the house."

"Got it! Thanks girlie! Don't worry about us, we'll be fine and we won't be caught!"

Childe winked before walking away. He walked towards Mitsuri and Rengoku. He looked down at them, waved and winked.

"Heya, Comrades. How have you been?"

Rengoku and mitsuri smiled brightly at him. Rengoku then spoke in a joyful loud voice

"We have been well! We are doing especially well since we have so many friends here on such a fine day!"

Mitsuri nodded along

"It's all so exciting my heart just might burst from my chest!"

"Aha! That's all good comrades, glad you are enjoying yourselves! Anyways, I was thinking, once we all got our fill of food, why not spar a bit? I already asked Lexa and she said it was fine as long as we don't draw too much attention and we have to do it in the backyard. Other than that we're free to spar. What do you say?"

Rengoku laughed joyously

"What a fantastic idea! It has been awhile since I have spared against a new person! This will be great training and a good learning experience!"

Mitsuri squealed

"You're right! I can't wait to see how well of a fighter you are!"

Childe chuckled.

"Great! Tell me once you're done, then we can go and spar!"

Rengoku and Mitsuri nodded, as they ate their food a little bit quicker.

After a bit, they finished. Childe smiled as they finished.

"Anything else before we spar?"

Mitsuri thought a bit

"Maybe we should digest our food before fighting? And maybe while we wait, we should implement some rules like how we do this so no one gets seriously hurt."

Childe hummed.

"I see...that's a very good point, comrade. Alright. Here are my ground rules for me, they don't apply to either of you. Ok, so I'm ok with hitting, punching, kicking, stabbing...hm...breathing styles are ok too."

Mitsuri and Rengoku nodded

"Well we are generally fine with those things as well you can use those swords you made on that call to fight or whatever else you can make. Though we should not go to rough. We don't want to accidentally break or bones or make to deep stab wounds. It don't think we should stress lexa and ender out."

"Hm...makes sense, comrade. I see...so, according to this, no stabbing or anything that will cut the skin too deep."

Childe nodded.

"Those seem like good ground rules."

Mitsuri and rengoku also agreed they were good ground rules.

"Well I think I digested my food enough to spar!"

Rengoku said

"Me too! Me too!"

Mitsuri added

Childe chuckled.

"Perfect! Let's go then. Hm...should our sparring be one on one or all at once?"

"I think we should do that one on one. So while two of us spar, another can watch and make sure it isn't getting too rough and or dangerous."

Rengoku answered

Childe nodded.

"Sounds good to me, comrade. So, who wants to face against me first?"

"Rengoku, why don't you go first!"

Mitsuri suggested

Rengoku then nodded

"Very well! I shall go first!"

Childe smirked

"Alright then, come on, let's go! Show me what you got!"

They then went outside. After choosing a specific area, Childe smirked as he went on one side.

"Let's start on opposite sides. I feel like it'll be more intense that way."

"Alright!"

Rengoku then unsheathed his katana

Childe chuckled. He raised his arms and when he pulled them down fast, two water spears appeared.

"Alright then, bring it on!"

Rengoku then dashed towards Childe while doing his first flame breathing form: unknowing fire.

Childe chuckled and managed to dodge. He laughed as he was finally going to fulfill his hunger of fighting.

Childe quickly jumped up and quickly switched from his spears to his bow, turning before shooting down a charged hydro arrow at Rengoku, aiming to hit his sword.

When Childe shot his arrow, rengoku changed his breathing form and performed his second breathing form: rising scorching sun to deflect the arrow.

Childe noticed and quickly slammed his feet onto the ground, switching to his daggers once more before running at Rengoku and colliding one of his daggers into Rengoku's sword.

"You're mine!"

Childe smirked as he put more pressure onto Rengoku's sword.

Rengoku held his ground and pushed back against Childe's blade and was able to break the struggle and went for a swing.

Childe bounced back and luckily missed most of the swing, but a bit sliced his arm creating a bleeding scratch.

"Not bad. Not bad at all!"

Childe laughed before quickly turning his blade and slashing a huge hydro wave at Rengoku.

Rengoku swung his blade and performed his fourth form: blooming flame undulation. To evade the attack

Luckily, he did evade the attack, however, he noticed Childe was gone. Childe then quickly came behind Rengoku and quickly sliced at him-but not too hard as to be a fatal wound would it hit him.

Rengoku jumped back and laughed

"You got me! You are far exceeding my expectations!"

Rengoku gripped his blade tighter, getting more fired up. He then perform his fifth form: flame tiger

Childe chuckled as he then launched a hydro wave. However, instead of aiming to hit the angle of the sword, he sliced towards Rengoku's hand. He was hoping by hitting at the handle of where Rengoku was holding, rengoku might've dropped his sword by accident which would both cancel out the attack and would also give Childe a way of advantaging the battle.

But rengoku was quicker and dodged the attack and went to his his first form again.

Childe's smirk faltered before he laughed. He stretched his arm and walked slightly forward

"You're such a strong opponent. It's been a while since I last had fun like this."

"I think the same! You're a worthy opponent! Your style is like nothing I've ever seen and you're fast! I bet if you became a demon slayer you'd be a hashira in no time!"

Rengoku then went in for another attack.

Childe laughed and dodged the attack. Before Rengoku got to move, Childe swiftly went up and managed to make a hydro slash at Rengoku at his hand, and managed to get Rengoku to drop his sword, at that Childe smirked and ran up to slide at Rengoku before he could grab his sword again.

Rengoku was moving around. Dodging Childe attacks until he saw an open and quickly got close punch Childe in the stomach.

Childe stepped back but mostly held strong on his ground. Childe chuckled before running out at Rengoku. Even though it was expected to be an attack, Childe quickly went down and drop-kicked him before swiftly getting up and pointing a hydro dagger literally less than an inch to his throat, in fact, it was touching his throat slightly.

Rengoku smiled while putting up his hand

"It looks like I've been defeated."

Childe chuckled and in a swift movement his daggers disappeared.

"Ah, you have. But can I just say that you have been a great opponent? This was quite fun and I had a great time fighting you, comrade."

Childe chuckled and held out his hand to help Rengoku up. Rengoku grabbed it and got up

"You have as well! This has been a great experience! You're an excellent fighter."

Childe chuckled.

"Thanks a lot, comrade!"

Childe then looked over at Mitsuri. Childe then pointed at her and winked with his usual charismatic way.

"Alright then, now it's your turn, girlie~!"

Mitsuri got red in her cheeks as she ran over to the field. Rengoku went away to give them space to fight and supervise them.

Mitsuri unsheathed her katana which came out looking like a sharp ribbon.

Seeing it just made Childe's smile widen.

"Ahh, I cannot wait to see that in battle!"

Misturi readied her blade with a smile

"I'm ready whenever you are!"

"Alright! I'll let you take the first move."

Childe chuckled..

Mitsuri swung her blade a certain way as she ran towards Childe

"Love breathing. First form: shivers of First Love."

Childe noticed the long katana was supposed to wrap around him. So, swiftly, he quickly jumped up, successfully avoiding the attack, and then noticed where the tip of the katana was at. He quickly went down and stepped on top of the tip of the katana.

But that didn't stop Mitsuri when she got close enough she jumped over him and wrapped the rest of her blade around and used her second form.

"Love breathing. Second form: love pangs"

Although Childe tried to dodge it, he didn't fully escape this one like the first.

Childe groaned as he wiped his mouth from the pain, though he still held his smirk.

"Heh. Not bad."

Mitsuri got a little concerned, worried she might have gone too far.

"Are you okay? Can you keep going?"

"Nah, don't worry about me, I'm fine."

Childe chuckled as he got up.

"I'm doing great! This has already gotten me so pumped up!"

Childe chuckled. He then swiftly switched to his bow and shot a charged hydro arrow at Mitsuri, before then switching to his daggers and launching upwards before falling down to hit Mitsuri directly.

Mitsuri swung her sword while dodging Childe easily thanks to her flexibility

"Love breathing. Third form: catlove shower."

Childe squinted his eyes and quickly jumped up at her, disappearing his daggers and managing to reach up to grab her before tackling her to the ground where he began wrestling for the katana. He smirked as he winked.

When he winked at her, her face went red and she felt flustered so with her unnatural superhuman strength she kicked him in the stomach a little too hard knocking the wind out of him.

Childe lied on the ground, coughing for a second before immediately getting back up, though he was still smirking, as if excited now.

"*cough* that was harder than I would've expected!"

Mitsuri got up and was even more flustered

"S-sorry I-i didn't mean to kick you so hard. Are you okay? Should we stop?"

Childe chuckled and walked forward.

"Ha. Why stop? The battle's only getting started! Don't feel bad, afterall getting hurt is part of the battle too, isn't it?"

Mitsuri thought for a moment

"Well...I suppose that's true."

Mitsuri got in a stance with a sorta concerned face. She was still worried that she might be going too hard on him.

"If you're still sure you're able to spar I will continue."

Childe chuckled.

"Heh. You're a lot stronger than you look, Girlie. This jus excites me even more to overcome you!"

As Mitsuri and Childe continued to fight Lexa came out with Ender to see how it was going

"Hey! You guys having fun out here?"

Lexa asked

Childe nodded as he went to kick Mitsuri in the stomach.

"Yep!"

Mitsuri jumped back while swinging her blade at Childe's feet

"Yeah! We haven't had a good sparing like this in awhile!"

Childe chuckled as he jumped up and lunged down at Mitsuri, managing to hit her.

"Yep! She's a very good and well trained sparring partner. In fact, if she keeps the good work up, I might even have to go to my final legacy form!"

Lexa looked at ender concerned

"He won't actually do that...right?"

Ender shrugged.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he did. He's willing to do anything to win a battle under...mostly fair circumstances, so it's an 80% chance he means it."

Lexa then sighed as they watch the rest of the fight

"Mitsuri, really is amazing! She's longer than I did! But Childe is exceptional too! He's a very passionate and talented fighter!"

Rengoku remarked as he watched the battle.

Ender sighed.

"A little too much. True, it's good that he's passionate about something he does a lot, but it's probably gonna get him killed one day...especially since he asked two Gods to fight him so that's also not good for him."

Ender scoffed and crossed her arms as she watched Childe dodge another one of Mitsuri's attacks before slashing a hydro slash at her.

"Hmm. That is rather concerning. Well let's just hope he doesn't die. I don't know what he's done or what kind of person he is but from what I've seen so far. I think he's a good person!"

Rengoku said

Ender chuckled.

"Yeah, he is...sometimes."

Ender sighed before looking back at the battle. Childe and Mitsuri both seemed to be pretty exhausted. Ender hummed as she wondered who would win....Mitsuri was pretty capable, she has amazing strength, stamina, speed and ability, but at the same time, Childe is strong and fast, and he is also too stubborn to take defeat as an answer unless she knocks him out.

It was hard to tell who would win. It could very well be mitsuri but Childe also has a fair shot at winning too, especially if he changes into his foul legacy form which makes Lexa hope that mitsuri knocks him out before he gets the chance.

Childe chuckles and jumps up before landing down with an electrical strike current instead of his usual hydro, making electro go around him on the ground before Childe threw a water slash at Mitsuri.

Mitsuri sorta lost her balance and fell landing on her back.

Childe took this opportunity and took his spear before rushing at Mitsuri and quickly kicking her katana away before he pointed the spear at her neck. Childe chuckled and winked.

"Shouldn't let your guard down, but hey, that was pretty good!"

Mitsuri giggled

"Yeah. I should've been more aware. That was an amazing battle! You're amazing!"

"Awww! Thanks, girlie! Not too bad yourself, I nearly had to go into my foul legacy form!"

The two walked back to where ender, lexa, and rengoku were.

"Well done you two! You two did great!"

Rengoku praised

Childe chuckled.

"Thanks comrade! Now then, let's go take a break and relax a little, shall we?"

"Yeah! I think we should have some tea! OOO~ and desserts!"

Mitsuri said excitedly

Lexa giggled at Mitsuri's excitement.

Childe chuckled.

"Then let's go, comrades!"

Childe then went inside as Rengoku and Mitsuri followed to have a small break.

Zack was just minding his own business scrolling on his phone and playing genshin impact

Wanderer walked over and went up to Zack, but he didn't say anything. He just stood next to him since he found conversations to be meaningless. Though, he did try and look at what Zack was looking at.

Zack was playing genshin impact at the moment and a few days before, he pulled and got nahida so currently he's playing as her and doing his dailies.

Wanderer blinked and continued watching. He was killing some treasure hoarders at the moment.

After a few minutes Zack went to the event banner. He trying to decide who to pull for rather for xiao or yae miko.

Wanderer hummed, looked a little annoyed at seeing Yae but continued to watch before asking

"Having fun?"

Wanderer suddenly speaking, startled Zack and he almost drops his phone in surprise.

Wanderer chuckled and bent down to pick up Zack's phone.

"Heh. All I say is two words and you're startled that you drop something? Are you that easy to scare?"

"No. You just appeared out of nowhere and startled me!"

Wanderer smirked and chuckled before handing Zack's phone back.

"Whatever you say, bandage."

Zack groaned as he finished up what he was doing and exited out of genshin impact.

Wanderer hummed and just watched Zack while leaning back against the wall.

Zack felt like he had to start a conversation because now it was kinda awkward. But he didn't know what to say.

Wanderer noticed Zack wanting to start a conversation. Not that he cared, but he just started one because awkwardness was rather...well, he didn't know what humans would explain it as. Since Wanderer never got awkward a lot.

"...So...how has it been?"

That's what most humans say to start a simple conversation, right?

"I've been...good I guess. How about you?"

Zack answered

"...Guess it's also been good, when Tartaglia isn't constantly annoying me to fight him to check on 'how good he's gotten'."

Wanderer shrugged.

Zack for a moment

"You mean that ginger with the scarf right?"

"Yeah, him. He's Childe, the 11th of the fatui harbingers, though his official name in the fatui rankings is Tartaglia. He's rather annoying, which would make sense considering he's the youngest of the fatui harbingers, but still."

Zack shrugged

"I kinda get it. He seems really smug and cocky. It honestly p!sses me off."

Wanderer shrugged.

"Yeah. He's often overconfident of his abilities. A little too much."

Wanderer then chuckled with a smirk.

"But then again, who in the fatui isn't?...anyways, I'd just avoid fighting him if I were you. You'd get beaten in an instant."

Zack got a little mad

"Hey! Don't underestimate me, puppet! I'm a lot stronger than I look! If I had my scythe I'd tear him apart!"

Wanderer chuckled.

"One puny weapon doesn't make up for body strength or resistance."

"It is not puny! I have killed many with it!"

"That's because they were probably weak and pathetic. They probably haven't fought anyone or trained in their life, Tartaglia, however, has trained since he was 14, and spent much time in the abyss in my information. Based on that alone, he could very much withstand your attacks."

Zack then calmed down and just rolled his eyes

"Well whatever. Doesn't matter anyway, Lexa won't give me back my scythe no matter what and there's no use bothering doe about it. He doesn't listen to anyone who isn't lexa not even our new roommate Kafka."

"I would guess so. Doe looks obsessed with Lexa. Too obsessed. I'm not surprised."

Wanderer shrugged.

Suddenly Kafka came up behind Zack putting her hands on his shoulder

"Zackery~! Who's your little friend?"

Zack sighed angrily

"Stop calling me that!"

"Why~?"

"It's stupid!"

"I don't think so~ I think it's rather cute!"

"That's why it's stupid!"

Kafka just giggled

Wanderer scoffed and rolled his eyes and just crossed his arms but didn't say anything, he just glared at Kafka.

"So~ am I going to get an introduction or..."

Kafka asked with her normal smile

"I don't care what you call me."

Wanderer shrugged, as he didn't care what people he didn't care for called him as long as it wasn't annoying.

"Oh~ well I heard Zack call you puppet, so I'll just call you puppet~"

Kafka said in a sweet voice

"No."

Wanderer growled and glared at Kafka darkly.

Kafka just smirked

"But you just said you don't care what I call you? Oh. Wait~ is it because it's a special nickname that only Zack gets to call you~ how adorable~"

"Shut up."

Wanderer groaned of annoyance and looked away.

"Anything except that."

Kafka hummed

"I can see why you two are friends. Such short tempers~"

Kafka teased

Wanderer growled.

"Oh shut it."

"Kafka, are you really so bored that you're annoying those two on purpose?"

Blade asked walking over

"Bladie~ I'm just making conversation. What's wrong with that~?"

Wanderer looks at Blade.

"She's with you?"

"We just arrived together."

He answered bluntly

"We're co-workers~"

Kafka corrected

"Great. Can you take her somewhere else?"

Wanderer asked.

"Aww already~ but we just got to know each other."

"If I tell you my name, will you leave?"

Kafka thought for a moment

"You know what~ sure~ I'll leave if you tell me your name~"

Wanderer nodded. He thought for a second before deciding he didn't want her to call him wanderer.

"Scaramouche."

Kafka smiled

"Alright, I'll go now. See ya later scara~"

She then walked away with blade

Wanderer growled before shaking his head and looking back at Zack.

Zack just rolled his eyes

"She's so annoying."

"She is. She also reminds me of Yae, so that makes her extra annoying."

Wanderer scoffed.

"Yae...oh yeah I remember her. She's a part of the inazuma archon quest...yeah she's annoying."

Zack said remembering that whole quest

Wanderer just nodded and didn't respond for a bit. He just kinda looked at Zack.

"So...your playing my world?"

Zack pulled out his phone which had only a few cracks on his screen.

"Yeah one day I was bored so I just downloaded it but I actually kinda enjoyed playing it so I've just kept playing it. I'm not going to lie, I'm not really sure what the story is because I skipped most of the dialogue."

Wanderer didn't seem surprised.

"Yeah, you seem like someone who would just play it for the combat rather than the story."

"Yeah, you wanna know what really sucks though?"

"What?"

"The characters that are playable that I like are more often than not fvcking pyro users! Like diluc! I really liked his character but I couldn't play him because his sword summoned fire!"

Wanderer chuckled.

"It's literally in a game. Your still afraid of flames that aren't even real and aren't even going to touch you?"

Zack eyebrow twitched in annoyance

"I can't help it. It not just I'm scared of touching it just..."

Zack grabbed his head as he lowers his tone

"Bring back...those memories..."

"..."

Wanderer paused before sighing and looking away. He felt a little guilty...why?

Wanderer shook his head and sighed.

"...It's fine. I guess your just not over the trauma of it....s...s...sorry for...mentioning it."

Wanderer looked away at the embarrassment of saying sorry after feeling guilty. Whenever he said sorry, he didn't really feel guilty and he always had a sense of sarcasm to it. But this time....ugh.

Zack could easily tell it was genuine and that made him feel...weird...he didn't know how to respond to it.

"It's...okay...and whatever..."

Now it was even more awkward than before.

Just then, Nahida approached.

"Hm, I see you two are getting along quite well again."

Nahida giggled as she put her hands on her hips.

Zack gave her an unsure look, he honestly didn't think it was going as well as she thought it was. But to just be I guess polite to one of few people he liked he greeted her

"Hey nahida."

Nahida waved.

"Hello."

Nahida then looked at both of them.

"Mind if we join your conversation, or do you two want some privacy?"

Zack shrugged

"I'm fine with it. What about you puppet?"

Wanderer nodded.

"Sure..."

Nahida smiled.

"Great."

Nahida then looked over and waved her arm over

"Come over here."

Furina sighed and walked over. Furina's been sticking with Nahida because Neuvillette was talking with Lucifer and Zhongli, and also because Nahida was nice so at least she wouldn't embarrass her...hopefully.

Furina walked over and waved slightly.

"...Erm...hi."

Zack just waved and reply

"Hey."

Furina sighed and thought about whether or not to keep up her act about being the hydro archon or not...according to how Nahida described Zack, he's truthful so if the traveler were to mention anything that she was a god, Zack might...

Furina cleared her throat and put on a confident smile before placing her hands on her hips.

"Nice to meet you. I am Focalors, the god of Justice, although you may just call me Furina since that is easier to remember me by."

"Okay. Cool. I'm Zack."

Zack replied rather nonchalantly

Furina sighed with relief at seeing that he wasn't treating her differently because she was a God.

"A pleasure to meet you, Zack. I must say you are, uh..."

Furina examined him and gulped a bit as she felt her eyes widen slightly. He looked...well, in Furina's eyes, he was tall and he was...scary, to say the least...

Furina shook her head and laughed nervously.

"Your...rather, uh...noticeable."

Zack was trying to decipher rather she was insulting him or just saying something.

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

He asked a little harshly

Furina squeaked slightly and she got really nervous, her eyes widening slightly with fear as she slightly shook before taking a step back.

"I-I-w-well-j-just, Uhm...eheheh..."

Furina laughed nervously and tried to force a smile, though it came out weak.

"N-Nothing bad! I-I meant no insults to that!..."

Zack knowing how Lexa will get if she heard how he was rude to a guest decided to drop

"Alright."

Furina sighed of relief.

"W-Well then, I think that's enough talking s-so I'll just be going then, bye!"

Furina then walked off. Nahida sighed.

"Well, it was nice to chat...even though it wasn't much. I gotta go follow Furina now. Bye, hope you guys have fun."

Wanderer nodded.

"Alright then."

Then it was back to silence until Zack asked

"Do you know what dinosaurs are?"

Wanderer blinked.

"...Yeah. Why?"

"Have you seen Jurassic park?"

"Uh...no. I don't think so."

Zack then titled his head to the stairs as he said

"Wanna hangout in my room and watch it?"

"...Sure."

They both then leave and go to Zack's room to watch Jurassic park

Venti hummed as he grabbed his first wine bottle of the day. He decided that since he was spending the time at Lexa's home, he should have decency and not create a big mess and to limit his drinking to only ten drinks-no, twenty. And he should at least clean after himself too!

Venti hummed as he nodded to himself before pouring the glass of wine inside a cup. He heard the door open as he drank some wine. After a sip, he looked over at the door.

Dabi was walking through to get a snack

Venti smiled and waved.

"Heya~!"

Venti took another drink before wiping his mouth and looking back over.

"Ahh~...my name's Venti, what's yours?"

"I go by dabi."

Venti hummed before chuckling and taking another sip.

"Hm...nice to meet ya, Dabi!"

Dabi saw what he was drinking

"Is that...wine?"

"Huh-oh, yeah! Want some?"

Venti chuckled and held a bottle with a wink.

Dabi blinked that he just offered it so freely

"Uh..yeah totally."

Venti chuckled and pats the seat next to him. Venti already had extra cups next to him so after patting next to himself, he grabbed a cup and poured some wine for Dabi.

"Come, sit! I'll even play a tune while we drink-for free, of course, since it'll be your first time listening!"

Dabi sat down and sipped the wine.

Venti chuckled and his lyre then appeared. He hummed.

Venti then nodded his head as he decided what to play, and then began playing a gentle, sweet, and soothing tune. Venti was softly humming along to the angelic melody.

Dabi felt a sense of calm wash over him.

After a minute or two, Venti ended the song and nodded to himself.

"It seems to me you liked it, if I'm not mistaken."

Venti chuckled and took a sip of wine.

Dabi took a drink before responding

"It was okay I guess."

"Sure~, I won't tell."

Venti giggled and winked before taking another sip. He blinked and looked at his cup.

"Already done with my cup? Huh..."

Venti shrugged and grabbed the bottle of wine before refilling his cup.

Dabi wanted to say something about how he's a bit young to be drinking but he decided that it was none of his business.

Venti nodded and drank his cup. This time he didn't stop until it was out before he refilled it.

"Hmm...so, tell me a little about yourself."

Venti chuckled and looked at Dabi with a playful grin.

"What do you want to know...just don't ask about my scars or I'll burn ya."

Venti laughed.

"Oh. Don't worry. I won't ask about any of that. Hm...let's see...hey! I have an idea for a fun game! I'll ask a question about you, and then you ask a question about me. Sounds good? Ok, I'll go first. Hmm...why do you have staples on near your scars?"

Venti asked. It wasn't technically asking about his scars, right? Just to be sure, Venti lightly played his lyre in the background to prevent Dabi from getting angry.

Dabi, slightly annoyed, answered

"It's to keep my skin together. My movement is supposed to be limited but I choose a career path that requires a bit more movement so to keep my skin connected I used stables to keep them together."

"Ahhh, that makes sense."

Venti chuckled.

"I guess it's my turn now. Hm...how old are you?"

"Real age or human age?"

Venti slipped out without realizing it.

Dabi raised an eyebrow at the question

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"...Uhhh..."

Venti now took the time to realize what he said. Dang it. Was he already getting drunk?

"Are you already drunk or something?"

"Uhhhh...I dunno."

Venti shrugged.

"I barely took like two glasses....four glasses. So, I don't think I'm supposed to be. I can usually handle a lot."

"So are you going to answer my question or not?"

"Hey! Only one question at a time! You can ask the second question after my second question after I answer this question! You said you wanted my age, right? Real age of human age?"

Venti huffed. He really should've lied and said he was drunk but it's not like Dabi was from Monstadt, who would he tell? And even if he did tell, who the heck would believe him? Venti didn't even act like a God! Venti waited for Dabi to pick either real age or human age.

"I guess real age?"

"2,600."

Dabi blinked for a second and just stared for a minute but then moved on.

"Okay, your turn."

"Got it! Hm...how'd you like my tune?"

Venti asked.

"It was good I guess. I'm kinda more into rock n roll."

"Ahhh, ok! Maybe I'll try a more chaotic song around you next time."

Venti winked.

Dabi chuckled while looking at his lyre

"Well, good luck with that. Okay um...so...are you from the same world as some of your other roommates or are you alone?"

"Yep! For example, I'm from the same world as Nahida, Zhongli, Ei, Bennett, Wanderer, etc etc. there's a lot of people from my world here!"

Venti giggled.

Dabi hummed while subconsciously picking up the empty wine glass and trying to drink out of it then realizing it was empty.

Venti hummed and handed over the wine bottle.

"Out of wine? You can refill it if you want more. I got a ton since I made a deal with Ender, so I really don't mind giving some to you."

Dabi poured some more wine

"Thanks. You're lucky, Lexa has a strict no-alcohol policy. Only on special occasions does she buy some alcohol. Talk about a buzzkill."

Venti laughed.

"With how you're describing it, I would die in this household with no alcohol ... but then again, maybe if I had been summoned in this household maybe I would've struck a deal with Lexa as well. Ender also had a strict policy about alcohol at first, but then she realized how valuable I was. My lyre here, if I play any sort of relaxing song, it eases the soul and makes calmness and peace spread around anyone who's listening-"

Venti chuckled.

"-or so I've heard. Anyways, this helps less fights to happen within our household and more peace between us. So the deal was if she regularly bought me alcohol, then I would calm down the roommates with my lyre to prevent outrageous fights. Simple as that."

Dabi nodded

"Make sense. I know Maki wants to kill Kokichi with a burning passion, he can literally walk into a room and not say anything. His mere existence irritates her. So if you can calm her down maybe you prevent Kokichi from meeting his untimely death."

"Yeah. Those are my main targets for my music."

Venti laughed before suddenly stopping. His eyes seemed a bit more serious, yet his smile remained the same. He spoke in a slightly more serious voice, but it was barely noticeable.

"...I think it's my turn for the game now, isn't it? So...you were the first one who arrived in the Lexa household, right? Can I ask how everyone said they arrived here? I mean, you were here from the beginning so you have to know."

"Yeah I was the first to arrive...it was a while ago so let me think...well nothing really happened much I was walking down an alleyway when I think I passed out and woke up outside of the house Lexa was living in at the time I could be wrong. It's hard to remember every little detail because Lexa hit me with a bat when we first met. For a while, I assumed someone's quirk sent me to a different dimension."

"Hm...I see. What made you change your mind about it?"

Venti asked.

"I want to say after Zack showed up I think it was something different. Because Zack was from a world much like this one. No humans with superpowers, no monsters or creatures that have powers or anything of the sort."

"Hm...that makes sense."

Venti nodded.

"If I were to say why, I've actually thought about it for a while. At first, I thought it was-...well, actually. Not important. But it makes sense when considering where Zack is from compared to the rest."

Venti chuckled weakly and drank another glass.

Dabi took a drink and nodded

"Yeah besides some...certain traits...he is a regular human."

Venti hummed.

"Yeah. Just like if I didn't have a vision, I'd be a normal powerless human, and you if you didn't have your quirk."

Dabi never actually thought about what his life would be like without a quirk. He stared into the cup. It kinda dawned on him that the only reason he existed was because of quirks. Would he still be here if quirks never were a thing?

Venti noticed Dabi in his thoughts.

"Something on your mind? We can talk if you want. Of course, no pressure, but talking about things while drunk seems to be stress relieving, or maybe that's just me."

Venti shrugged and took another sip.

Dabi shook his head

"I'm fine. It's nothing important."

He chugged the rest of his drink.

"Well, if you're sure about it, then alright."

Venti shrugged and drank his cup.

After a while of drinking and chatting, dabi was a little bit tipsy.

Venti noticed. He chuckled as he put a lid on the wine bottle.

"I'm guessing you're drunk, huh?"

"No, I'm just a bit tipsy. Big difference."

Venti chuckled.

"Didn't know you got tipsy so fast."

"Well, I drank a bit more than I meant to."

"Makes sense."

Venti chuckled.

"But I can't say I don't feel the same. I'm feeling weird myself, probably the alcohol getting to me as well."

Venti then got up and stretched.

"Well, that's enough alcohol for one day."

Dabi nodded his head in agreement

"Yeah. Now I just feel really tired. I might head up to my room and take a nap."

"Alright then. As long as you're sure you can walk up there by yourself and don't need my help up there."

Venti chuckled.

Dabi got up and started walking to his room with just a slight wobble. .

Venti waved and got up to take a walk around.

Nagito was looking for Bennett. When he found him he walked over

"Bennett!"

Bennett turned around and excitedly waved.

"Hi Nagito! How have you been doing?"

"I've been well and also happy birthday!"

Nagito answered with a big smile. Bennett's smile widened at that.

"Oh! Thanks, Nagito! Also, I'm glad you've been doing well!"

Bennett chuckled and put his hands on his hips with beaming eyes.

"I'm so glad I get to spend my birthday with my best friend!"

Nagito smiled even wider at Bennett calling him his best friend

"I'm glad too! Also, I'd like to give you your gift."

Nagito pulled up a rolled-up paper and handed it to him.

Bennett blinked.

"Y...You got me...a gift?"

Bennett's face then lightened up.

"Aww! You're the best! I promise to get something for your birthday as well!"

Bennett then grabbed the present and gently began opening it. When he saw the full thing. It was a map! It shows directions that lead through the forest behind the house.

Bennett looked awed and then got excited and looked up at Nagito with a beaming smile.

"Are we gonna go on an adventure?!"

Nagito nodded very enthusiastically

"I know how much you love adventures so I decided to do an adventure treasure hunt for your birthday!"

Bennett beamed and hugged Nagito.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You are the best!"

Nagito hugged back

"No, you're the best!"

"No, you are!"

Bennett laughed with a large happy grin.

Nagito and Bennett go outside to the edge of the forest about to enter it

"You lead the way, Bennett!"

Bennett blinks with slight surprise before brightening up.

"Alright then! Let's go!"

Bennett begins leading the way through the forest.

Nagito was excited but also nervous wondering if Bennett would like the gifts he put around the forest.

Bennett kept his smile on as he looked at the map before looking back up to follow the path. He saw a turn towards the right and looked at the map before smiling wider.

"Ah! Today's our lucky day! I actually got to find the spot on the map where we need to turn!"

Bennett laughed before dashing ahead.

"Come on, Nagito! Let's go!"

Nagito starts chasing after Bennett to keep up with him. He knew they were approaching the first gift and he was getting more excited and nervous by the second.

Bennett laughed joyfully as he was running along while looking at the map. This was so much fun! Oh, this is the best adventure yet!

However, while running forward, Bennett tripped on a rock and fell down. Luckily, the map didn't fly off and Bennett managed to keep it in his hand.

Bennett looked up and laughed.

"Oh, man, this is great!"

Bennett then got up and looked at the map.

"Oh! There's a red dot right there on the map! What does that mean?"

Bennett asked, turning to look at Nagito.

Nagito just smiled

"Try to find it and find out."

Bennett hummed before nodding.

"Alright then!"

Bennett then began walking until they reached the area with the red dot. Bennett then looked around, trying to find whatever it was that was there.

Nagito wanted to so badly just say where it was but then it wouldn't be an adventure for Bennett so he kept his mouth shut and just kept smiling.

Bennett hummed and continued to search. He walked in front of a tree when suddenly the tree broke and nearly fell on Bennett, but Bennett managed to dodge it before it landed. Bennett sighed in relief until he noticed something behind the very tree that fell.

Bennett gasped and hugged it.

"Ohhh! This is so cool! It feels so soft and squishy!!!"

Bennett looked back at Nagito and was beaming with excitement and happiness.

"Thank you, thank you Nagito!!!"

Bennett ran up and hugged Nagito.

Nagito hugged back but then quickly said

"Hold on, we still have the rest of the map to follow and a lot more treasures to find."

Bennett seemed to freeze at that. Like, frozen solid. His smile stayed the same and he just kinda froze. Then he blinked and looked up at Nagito with surprised eyes.

"...There's...more? But you already did so much for me!"

Nagito just laughed and said

"No not really. Come on, there's still more to find!"

Nagito picked up the plushie.

"I'll carry this for you while you follow the map and lead the way."

Bennett blinked before smiling brightly and immediately grabbed the map again. He definitely needed to do something big for Nagito's birthday too!

"Alright then! Let's go!"

Bennett then began leading the way to where the map said to go.

Nagito was so pleased to know Bennett liked the first gift and he has the same hope for the second one.

Then, they reached another area in which Bennett realized a red dot was pinpointed on the map. Bennett then immediately began looking for whatever was waiting for him.

Bennett then noticed something pinned on a tree and went to it. His eyes lit up as he saw a poster of Razor.

Bennett blinked before asking.

"...Is that...Razor?"

Nagito nodded his head

Bennett then smiled and carefully took the poster off before smiling and then looking at Nagito again.

"Thanks! I love this! It reminds me of my wolf-buddy! Since, well, it technically is my wolf-buddy, just on a piece of paper!"

Nagito laughed again

"I remember you telling me about razor last time and I thought you might want something that reminds you of him."

"You have such a good memory, Nagito! I'm surprised you remembered that from such a long time ago!"

Bennett chuckled.

Nagito took the poster holding it gently for Bennett

"Glad you like it. We're halfway there! We're almost to the end."

"Ok!"

Bennett then holds the map and then begins running towards where the map was leading them too.

Then, when they reached the area, Bennett began looking around once more.

Then, Bennett noticed something glimmering in the bush. He stepped forward and reached inside the bush before pulling out...a four-leaf clover jade necklace!

Bennett smiled and seemed excited about it. He quickly put it around his neck and wore it.

He turned to Nagito and ran up to him before hugging him again.

"Thanks a lot, Nagito! I love it!"

"I'm glad, it's made from jade and one of the things jade represents is good luck and protection and I got it in the shape of a four-leaf clover just for good measure!"

Bennett smiled brightly.

"Oh, I'll keep it in mind to wear it at all times!"

Bennett chuckled happily.

Nagito was so happy everything was going so well!

"Now we have to go to the final spot!"

"Alright!"

Bennett cheered before looking at the map again. He smiled and then took off where the map said they would go.

Bennett blinked as he slowed down to see the beautiful lake he and Nagito found during their trip in the forest the last time he was there.

Bennett slowly smiled and looked back at Nagito.

"This is amazing! I can't believe you found the spot we were in last time!"

Nagito rubbed the back of his neck

"Well, I wanted to make your birthday special so I did the best I could. But let's continue onward!"

Bennett nodded and went forward.

After some time of walking near the lake, Bennett froze upon seeing...a chest. It had a key in its hole.

Bennett's breath stopped for a second before he looked back at Nagito.

"Is that...?"

Nagito smiled and titled his head towards it

"Open it."

Bennett blinked before getting excited. He went over to the box before unlocking it and opening it to see...many golden coins!

They didn't look like golden coins, they kinda looked like the kind where people would wrap chocolate up in gold coin plastic, but Bennett didn't care!

Bennett excitedly looked at Nagito.

"T-This is-this is amazing!"

"Really? You think so? I'm sorry they're not real gold coins."

"I could not care any less right now! Gold or not, this is so exciting! Even if it was planned, I love it so much! Are these chocolate coins?"

Bennett asked, practically bursting with excitement

Nagito nodded

"Do you like chocolate?"

"Yep!"

Bennett nodded happily.

Nagito smiled but then said

"Also if you go deeper into the chest you'll find something else."

Bennett was curious and looked deeper into the chest to find....an envelope.

Bennett tilted his head slightly before opening it. It looked like a card. It was a birthday card

Bennett then opened it.

On the inside written a message

'Dear Bennett, I am wishing you the happiest of birthdays and I pray that the whole day is full of joy and happiness and no bad luck. You are a very dear friend, your optimism in any situation fills me with so much hope. I love watching it shine, and seeing you have fun always brightens up my day. I hope you had fun with this treasure hunt. Happy birthday Bennett!

Bennett seemed to pause before his eyes began tearing up from happiness. He then turned to Nagito. He waited a couple of seconds before getting up and running to Nagito before hugging him.

"Thank you! Thank you so so so so soooo much! This means a lot to me, your the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for!!!"

Nagito was so happy too that he shed a few tears as well

"You're the bestest best friends anyone could ask for too. I'm glad you liked the treasure hunt. I wanted to make this birthday a memorable one."

Bennett smiled and looked up at Nagito.

"If that's the case, you most definitely already did!"

Bennett laughed a little.

Nagito laughed along then he took the envelope and helped him put the card back in

"Alright! Now let's head back to the house!"

Bennett nodded. He went over and grabbed the chest (since it wasn't that heavy or really too large) and walked with Nagito.

As they walked back nagito texted lexa to let her know that they were heading back.

As Nagito texted Lexa, Bennett began ranting.

"Oh boy, this has got to be the best day of my life! Thanks a lot, Nagito! You really made my birthday the bestest of the best! I promise I'll return the favor when your birthday comes around! I can't just let all this hard work just for me go unpaid in response!"

"You don't need to do anything to repay me. It's your birthday. The day you were born! It's a very special day! You won't have to do anything for my birthday. Just you saying happy birthday to me would be a blessing to scum like me."

"You're not a scum, Nagito! You're so much more than that and I'm not gonna let my best friend tell himself that he's a scum! If anything, you're a blessing, Nagito! A bundle of blessings and hope!"

Bennett said confidently with a beaming smile.

"You're so kinda Bennett. It is an honor for you to call me your best friend!"

Bennett chuckled.

"Aha, I'm glad you think of me as your best friend as I think of you! I was a bit worried you wouldn't see me as your best friend like I do but now that I know you do, I feel a lot better!"

Nagito laughed

"Of course, I see you as my best friend! You're the only one besides I think Lexa who is willing to listen to me ramble on about hope and always tells me I'm not trash, scum, or any other degrading nickname I call myself."

Bennett chuckled.

"I think that's because the truth is that you're simply not any of those things you refer to yourself as. I'm glad that Lexa is also telling you not to call yourself that! I'm glad you have such a good caretaker to remind you that you're not trash!"

"Lexa is a good caretaker. I am forever grateful for her kindness towards me and everyone else."

Bennett chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah! She seems great! I'm glad she's such a nice caretaker! She seems to be treating you and your other roommates well."

Nagito then nervously laughed

"Yeah though sometimes I feel like she's a bit too nice even to the roommates who aren't the kindest of people. Don't get me wrong, I think all my roommates are great...in their own way..."

"Aha...it's fine, Nagito. I can tell there are some roommates of yours who don't seem to get along or are more rude than others...but you know that saying, kill ''em with kindness!"

Nagito smiled

"Yeah...most of the time they don't interact with me so I don't really have a problem with them."

Bennett hummed.

"Well, I'm glad to hear you don't have any problems with them-oh, we're here!"

As they walk towards the door. Nagito got a reply from Lexa letting him know that everyone was ready.

Bennett then knocked on the door. When nobody came, Bennett tried his luck to see if the door was unlocked, which it was.

Bennett walked in and noticed that there was nobody in sight, nor was there any noise.

"..."

Bennett looked at Nagito.

"Hm..I would've figured that I would've heard someone by now. Where'd everyone go? Why is it so silent?"

Nagito pretends to act as clueless as Bennett

"Don't know. Let's check the kitchen. Maybe everyone is just eating?"

Bennett nodded and began walking to the kitchen. He opened the kitchen door to see if anyone was there. When he walked in the lights were off.

Bennett's eyes stiffened in confusion and he reached for his sword just in case there was something there.

Then Nagito turned on the lightswitch

"Surprise!"

Bennett blinked and fell back when he saw people jump out. Bennett caught himself on the wall and blinked. He was processing.

"...W...What?"

Nagito chuckled

"While we were out, lexa and ender set up a surprise for when we got back."

Bennett seemed surprised before he smiled. He then chuckled.

"Ahaha! You never cease to amaze and surprise me in a good way, Nagito! You're really the best!"

"No. you're the best!"

"No, you are!"

Bennett laughed.

Xiangling then said excitedly.

"I used some of my best ingredients, and everything went super smoothly! All the ingredients are fresh and as ready as they'll ever be, I wanted to make sure this cake will be one you are sure to never forget!"

Bennett smiled.

"Thanks, Xiangling!"

"Anytime, Bennett!"

Nagito then sat Bennett down as lexa lit the candles.

Bennett smiled and waited as Lexa finished lighting up the candles

Lexa finished light the candles and stepped back

Then, they sang happy birthday before Bennett blew out the candles.

Bennett laughed.

"You guys are the best!"

Everyone celebrated, and Xiangling cut the cake and gave the first slice to Bennett.

Bennett happily smiled and took a bite, humming at the taste.

Then, everyone ate cake and enjoyed themselves.

Nagito then went over to Bennett

"Do you like the cake?"

"Like it? I love it!"

Bennett smiled.

"It tastes so good, I can tell Xiangling made it with all her best ingredients!"

Nagito smiled

"I'm glad. I'm really really happy you had a great birthday! You deserve it."

Bennett laughed a little.

"Well, I wouldn't exactly put it that way, but today has been a great day! After this, I have to do something for your birthday, Nagito! You deserve the best birthday ever after what you did for me!"

Nagito laughed

"You really don't have to do that."

"You didn't have to do this either. Honestly, just spending a day with my best friend would've made my birthday the best it could be, and then you did all this and I just can't thank you enough, so the least I can do is make a birthday party for you just as fantastic as this!"

Bennett said confidently with beaming eyes. Nagito patted his head and gave him a hug

"You're too good to me."

Bennett laughed.

"So returning the favor is too nice for you? I doubt that it's really the least I could do. You're the best!"

Nagito's smile brightens up

"Well if I'm the best that means you're the greatest!"

"With my luck? As if!"

Bennett laughed.

"But thanks! Although I'd like to think that you're just as great, if not better!"

Nagito shook his head

"Not possible. You're definitely so much better! You're a shining beacon of hope and I'm a stepping stone to hope."

Bennett blinked, a little confused.

"A stepping stone? Nah, if anything you're the brightest shining star there ever is! Stop being so hard on yourself and lighten up! You're not a stepping stone, and if I'm a shining beacon of hope, you're an even brighter beacon of hope!"

Nagito wanted to keep telling Bennett how he was better than him. But he didn't want to upset Bennett on his birthday so he caved in and accepted defeat

"Alright. Alright. You win...but I still think you shine brighter than me."

"That's not true at all."

Bennett then chuckled.

"You're supposed to wish for something on your birthday, right? Well...my wish is for you to see the greatness in you and to stop talking bad about yourself!"

Nagito laughed

"So hopeful! you wished for something not for yourself but for someone else!"

"Well, why wouldn't I? I already got everything I could ever ask for, might as well give a wish to someone else, right?"

Nagito sighed

"Well since that's your wish I'll stop talking bad about myself...for today"

He whispered the last part. Bennett laughed. He didn't hear the last part.

"That's good! Anyways, let's eat! Huh-why didn't you get some cake yet, Nagito?"

"Oh. I wanted everyone to get a slice before I did. I don't mind being the last person to get a slice."

Bennett blinked and looked over before looking back at Nagito.

"Well, it looks like everyone got a slice of cake so you can take a slice now!"

Lexa overheard and said

"Oh, nagito. You haven't gotten a slice yet? Here I'll get you one."

Lexa sliced a piece and put it on a plate handing it to Nagito

"Here ya go."

Nagito smiled at her

"Thank you lexa."

Lexa smiled

"No problem!"

She then went back over to ender.

Bennett smiled up at Nagito before continuing to eat his own slice.

After everybody ate cake, it was getting late and nearly time for bed.

Bennett hugged Nagito.

"Thanks a lot! For everything!"

"Of course! Anything for my best friend! May your dreams be filled with nothing but happiness and hope!"

Bennett laughed joyfully.

"Thanks! And let's hope that your dreams will be the same!"

Soon everyone went to their rooms to sleep. Well almost everyone

Ender looked over at Wanderer.

"Aren't you going to sleep?"

"Oh please, I'm a puppet. I don't require rest."

"..."

Wanderer rolled his eyes and left towards a room. Ender blinked.

"I thought you didn't require sleep."

"I don't. I just don't want to be in the eye view of the shogun. Besides, it gives me more time to knit."

Wanderer went out of view. Ender blinked.

"...Speaking of the shogun, where is she? I haven't seen her the entire visit."

"Didn't you say that sometimes she'll patrol around your house? Do you think she might be patrolling?"

Lexa asked

"Yeah, but that's the thing. She only patrols inside the house. Not outside. Where is she?"

Lexa thought for a moment.

"Hmm...I can't think of where else she could be."

"..."

Ender thought before sighing.

"...Where's Douma's room? I just want to see if she went in there."

Lexa then led Ender to his room.

Ender opened the door.

The shogun was not moving, frozen in place, just staring at Douma intensely. She seems to be slowly reaching for her chest, aka, the sword place.

Douma was sitting there with his fake smile not looking scared in the slightest.

Ender sighed.

"..."

The shogun then swiftly reached into her chest and pulled out the sword. She then pointed it at Douma with a serious expression.

"Make such an absurd comment again and I will slice you."

Douma just laughed and lexa spoke up

"Douma!"

He then looked to lexa and said

"Lexi! How wonderful it is for you to visit me!"

He then put on a pout

"You didn't visit me at all today! That hurts my feelings! Anyway...you didn't tell me we got a new roommate~!"

The Shogun narrowed her eyes.

"She's not our roommate she's a roommate from the other household and please be respectful."

Lexa then turned to the shogun

"I deeply apologize for anything Douma said. But out of curiosity what exactly did he say?"

"He commented on my looks and on my assets. And about how tasty I must be."

The shogun stated sharply, lowering her sword down.

Lexa then gave douma a look

"Lexi~ don't give me that look. Is it wrong to comment on a woman's beauty~?"

He said with a smile hiding his face behind his fan.

"May I have permission to slice his head off?"

The shogun asked.

Lexa looked at ender seeing if she should agree.

Ender sighed.

"I...uh..."

The shogun looked at Ender.

"It's not because he is annoying me. It is simply because he looked at me and inappropriately said to me and I do not appreciate people like that, especially if he has done so to other people within the household. Also, he does not strike me as a human, therefore I doubt that it would affect him given the fact even the hashiras commented on him being a strong demon."

"...Yeah, sure, go for it."

Ender shrugged.

"Yeah. You can slice his head."

Lexa answered. Douma then laughed and said

"Wow. You're going to let her slice off my-"

Then, in one swift movement, faster than Douma could see, lightning came fast as the shogun sliced Douma's head clean off with no hesitation nor difficulty.

But in a flash, his head grew back

"Wow~ what a powerful strike~!"

The shogun looked at him.

"Don't attempt to flatter me."

Douma just smiled

The shogun then came closer and examined his face. Her eyes narrowed.

"..."

Douma winked and said

"Why so close~ are you admiring my good looks?"

"I am simply just looking at your eyes. Nothing more. They just look far different than humans. I am guessing that is just a trait of a demon."

"Oh. My eyes! Nope, they were like this even before I became a demon!"

"...Is that so?...So did they always have that symbol in them?"

"Oh no. The symbols were engraved into my eyes by my master! They read "upper two" which means I'm the second upper moon demon in my master's army."

"...Hm. That's surprising to hear. With how fast your head came off, I would've suspected you were one of the weaker ones."

"Well, I'm not. I'm the third strongest demon alive."

The shogun nodded.

"Then I acknowledge your strength as the third strongest demon alive."

Douma smiled and then turn to lexa

"Lexi~ am I allowed out now, I'm pretty sure it's night now."

Lexa sighed

"Firstly I told you to stop calling me that-"

"But you let Kafka call you that!"

"Like I said, it's different with Kafka. And second no, you can not come out. There's a demon slayer here who will kill you without hesitation."

The shogun looked at Lexa.

"If you want, I can come with him and act as a bodyguard so that they don't hurt him. They won't even be able to touch him with me there, and I don't mind either since I need to patrol anyways."

Lexa turned to the shogun

"I really appreciate that offer but douma can be a bit...what's the nicest way I can put this...problematic and I don't want to burden you with that."

"No worries. If he does or says anything I will simply cut his head off again. Noticing how he can regrow his head, I don't think it'll cause any real dangerous harm to him."

Douma then whined

"Please Lexi~ I've been so bored. I promise to be on my best behavior~"

Lexa showed obvious doubt. But she also knew the shogun could handle herself. Lexa sighed

"Alright. If it's really okay."

The shogun nodded.

"Do not worry. I will make sure he is on his best behavior."

"Thank you. Just make sure he is back in his room before sunrise. He'll burn alive and turn to ashes in seconds if he's exposed to the sunlight."

"I see. Do not worry, I will make sure he is back before sunrise."

"Thank you. Douma behave for the shogun please and don't be a nuisance."

Douma then put on a fake hurt look

"I really thought you'd have more faith in me than that lexi~ you wound me greatly."

Lexa just rolled her eyes. The shogun then turned to Lexa and Ender.

"Get a good night's rest."

Douma followed the shogun as she left.

Ender yawns and looks at Lexa.

"Well; I'm going to bed now. Night."

Lexa stretched

"Yeah. Me too. Goodnight."

Ender and Lexa then went to bed.
