It was another day at the household

Doe was looking around for lexa because she was gone when he was done with his nap.

He assumed catnap had her again so he barged into his room, waking catnap up. He grimaced at him

"What is it?"

"Is Lexa in here?"

"She was but she left after she got a call."

Catnap did a cat stretch

"I'm sure it's just some kind of errand. She said she'd be back soon."

Doe whined and left.

Soon Lexa was back and doe ran to hug her but she dodged surprisingly quick. Which caught doe off gaurd because she normally doesn't try to dodge.

But then he noticed she holding something.

"What's that?"

Doe asked curiously.

Lexa just smiled and brought it to the leaving room. March and mitsuri were in there too and saw it. Both curious about it as well.

Lexa removed the blanket and inside was a sleeping baby girl.

Both of the girls contained their squeals to not wake up the baby, doe was a little confused never seeing a baby before.

"What is it?"

Doe asked

"It's not a thing it's a who doe. This my cousin freya my uncle asked me to watch her because his usual babysitter had a family emergency. So she'll be with us for the day."

Lexa then left for a moment to bring in a diaper bag and a playpen that she could set up in the living room. While she set it up both of the girls were gushing and cooing over the baby.

Zack was heading to the kitchen to get a snack when he saw misturi and March holding a baby.

He came over and asked

"So who was knocked up?"

Both girls gasped

"Don't be so vulgar! There's a baby!"

March scolded. Zack just rolled his eyes

"Chill, the thing is asleep."

"Zack, it's not a thing. It's a baby, lexa said it's her cousin freya. Isn't she the cutest thing ever!"

Zack tilted his head.

"What's about it is so cute? All I know is that they cry and scream."

Mitsuri giggled.

"They only do that because they don't know how to talk like we do. Come here. How about you try to hold her?"

Zack shook his head.

"No way. Why would I want to do that? I'll probably just scare it."

"Just try it. Just once! Please~ please please please please-"

Mitsuri insisted.

"Alright alright. If it gets you to be quiet."

Zack sat down and mitsuri then had positioned Zack arms so he holds her correctly.

Zack just stared down at the baby, sleeping

"...now what?"

March looked at him

"What do you mean?"

Zack looked at her

"What am I supposed to do now?"

Mitsuri giggled

"Nothing just hold her."

Zack looked confused at the baby. It was a weird concept to him, holding something so fragile, so weak, something he could kill with ease. Yet he didn't feel the urge since the baby wasn't making any satisfactory expressions.

"Okay done."

Lexa said as she finished setting up the play pen. She came over and took freya from Zack and set her up in the playpen to sleep.

Everyone was aware of the baby presence.

Later on the baby woke up and cried. Lexa came over with mitsuri. Mitsuri offered to help since she knew how babies worked since she had a bunch of younger siblings herself.

Lexa picked her up and bounced her to calm her down.

"Shh...it's okay freya. Aww peanut."

Lexa sat down with her on the couch and just held her as lexa shook her rattle toy. Freya was now just whining. So Lexa looked at the time and figured she was hungry.

"Mitsuri mind holding freya while I make her a bottle?"

Mitsuri got excited

"No I don't mind! I'll happily hold her!"

Lexa handed freya to mitsuri as lexa got up and went to the kitchen to make a bottle.

Mitsuri look down at freya.

"Hi freya, aren't you just the cutest baby~ yes you are. Yes you are!"

Freya calmed down and gripped one of her braids pulling it. She didn't mind, she could barely feel it due to her high pain tolerance.

Lexa came back with a bottle and held freya as she ate. As she fed the baby doe watched with interest he was being oddly quiet.

Doe didn't understand humans all too well and lexa has been trying to teach him but he still has a lot to learn.

"So...why can't she talk?"

"She doesn't know how to."

"Why?"

"Because she's new to the world."

"Why does she cry? Is she sad?"

"No, that's just the only way she can express if she wants something, or just doesn't want to be alone."

"Why is she so tiny?"

"Because that's how babies are, don't worry she'll grow overtime."

"Where'd did she come from?

"She came from my aunt and uncle. She grew in my aunts stomach."

"Why your aunts stomach?"

"Because only women can get pregnant."

"So can you get pregnant?"

"Yes I can."

"How?"

Lexa's face turns bright red

"Okay no more questions."

Kafak, dabi, mitsuri, hawks, asmo, Mammom, and Lucifer were in the room and they started laughing.

Doe was confused on why everyone was laughing.

Later Lexa set freya up in a baby jumper and put on something she used to watch as baby to stimulate her brain and keep her distracted while she does somethings.

"You sure you don't mind watching her?"

Lucifer nodded along with mitsuri. Lexa didn't want mitsuri to be alone so she asked Lucifer to help. He agreed since he was good at taking care of his brothers, so a baby wouldn't be too much of a problem.

"Okay, I'll try and finish as soon as I can but this should at least keep her distracted and entertained."

The video started playing

Lexa then walked away as the baby watched the video.

Mitsuri and Lucifer watched it and was unconsciously sucked into it. Their eyes were glued to the screen watching it.

As the roommates started coming down they would see what they were watching and then also unconsciously get sucked into it.

Lexa finished paying for everything and organizing her room and cleaning up a bit. Only then she noticed how quiet it was.

She started looking around until she ended up in the living room where all the roommates were in the room watching the video so intently like nothing else in the world mattered.

Lexa stiffled a giggled and decided to start dinner while they were distracted.

Then after 5 more minute she paused the video snapping them all out of their trance.

"Sorry to interrupt the video but it's time freya went home."

"Aww already?"

Mitsuri asked as Lexa picked her up

"Yes, it's time for her to go."

Lexa said and mitsuri just patted her head.

"Aww...okay. Bye freya! Hope so to you again soon."

"Bye freya!"

March said taking a picture of her. Some of the other roommates said bye

"Say bye bye freya."

Lexa said as she made freya wave her tiny hand then put her into the car seat as she picked her up with doe jumping into her hood in his doe ball form.

Freya started to softly whine.

catnap came over

"I can put her to sleep if you want."

Lexa shook her head cant then assured her

"Don't worry it won't give her nightmares."

Lexa decided to trust catnap and catnap sprayed a little of a purple mist and freya feel right to sleep.

"Thank you catnap. I'll be back in a little bit."
