"Do you think the coins will still work?" Ginny asked me.

"As long as they haven't thrown them away."I relply.

"But will anyone come after the war?" I am digging through my trunk to find my coin and all of a sudden out flies the coin I am looking for. It lands on top of an old potions homework and a picture of the order of the Phoenix that is probably Harry's and one word comes to mind.

"Always."

"Well you'd better be right."

"Hermione what's wrong?"

"Yes Hermione, is something the matter? Is it the Nibble Wibbles?"

"Luna, what are Nibble —you know what. That's for another time. Neville, Luna, everything is not quite alright at the moment. Umbridge is back and we may have to fight."

"What? How is she back?" Neville stuttered.

"That is a really good question Neville. We are trying to figure that out." This made Luna and Neville both shrivel in fear a bit. They aren't quite sure what to think, and neither am I.

"Where are we meeting?" Neville asks.

"Room of Requirement of course silly!" Luna giggles and gives Neville a small kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah," Room of Requirement. See you tonight.

"Hermione!" I turn around to see Dean and Seamus.

"Room of Requirement as usual?" Dean asks.

"Of course, where else would it be?" I ask.

"Well don't you and Malfoy sort of — live there now?" Seamus asked.

"Oh." I hadn't thought of that. "I'll kick him out. No need to worry."

"Malfoy. Leave." I demanded. No pretense. Not reason. Just leave.

"Wha — what? What did I do this time Granger." He looks genuinely hurt so I let my face soften. When he sees this his face softens too.

"I'm sorry Malfoy. Can I have some friends over tonight? Would that be ok?"

"Yes Granger. I guess so. I'll just hang out in the Slytherin common room I guess." He sounds so sad I can't help myself. I pull him closer to me until we are in a tight hug. He seems surprised at first but embraces me all the same. I feel him rest his head on top of mine. It's been a long time since I've been hugged like this.

"You can stay," I whisper so softly I can barely hear myself speak.

Boom boom! Someone is trying to break down the door. Or at least that's what it sounds like. I look down at my watch. "Oh damn it's time for the meeting."

"What meeting?" Malfoy looks completely flustered.

"Dumbledore's Army of course! Welcome to the club."

"Well then! We need to get this cleaned up!" He whips his wand out of his pocket and pointing it at various objects says "scourgify!"

"Here I've got it!" I take his hand and pull it down while giving my wand a wave and using a nonverbal spell to clean the whole room.

"How long were we like that?" A long time but I don't really feel like talking about it so I rush over and open the door to let in our loyal members. In walks Ginny, Neville, Luna, Dean, and Seamus.

"Quite a crowd you've gathered Granger." Malfoy smirks. He's back to being Malfoy the ferret, the face he shows the world.

"Shut up Malfoy."

"Why is he here?" Ginny points an accusing finger.

"Aren't I allowed to join the famed Dumbledore's Army with whatever trouble your causing now?" Malfoy asks.

"No!" Shouts Ginny, Dean, Seamus, Neville, Luna, and the voice in the back of my head.

"Oh well," he stalks into a corner and hangs on our every word. When we get to the part about recruiting members, Malfoy has a genius idea, for once. "What about the house elfs? They fought at the Battle of Hogwarts why wouldn't they fight for us again?"

"That's a good point," Ginny says. "No apply that effort into your patronuses and maybe you'll pass my class."

"All we ever do is patronuses and you know I can't do them it's not fair."

"Boo boo cries the baby." Ginny fake cries. "Oh and it's we as in everyone except you."

"Whatever." And with that everyone leaves for the night. And I am certain we can take down Umbridge.
