Alex's P.O.V

John had just come out of his room. He had been on the phone with his family in South Carolina. "So Alex..in a few days i'm leaving for South Carolina. I'm not sure for how long." He said. I tried to make sure his voice wasn't shaky or anything. It wasn't. "Alright. Keep me updated when you leave. Maybe I could give you a ride to the airport." I offered. "No its fine. I have my own car." He said.

"Alright." I say

Great. Just great. The love of my life is going to be several states away for god knows how long. Oh well. Its probably a family emergency or something along the lines of that. If only I had a family. 

3 DAYS LATER

After we all said goodbye John hopped onto his plane and off to South Carolina he went. Looks like i'm going to be alone for awhile.

Washingdad - did John tell anyone why he was going to South Carolina?

French_Fries - he didn't tell me

Remember Alex. Don't complain about John being in SC or anything. You know damn well that if James , Peter (my other brother) or my father had called saying there was an emergency I would probably head back to the Caribbean in not even as much as a heartbeat. 

Trying to think about something else Angelica thankfully called. 

"Hey Angie, whats up?" I say.

"Hey Alex, I was wondering if you wanted to hang with Eliza , Peggy and me?" She asked.

Oh thank god. Finally, something to preoccupy me.

"Yeah that works for me. Where are going?" 

"To the park. Turns out Maria is also joining us." Angelica responds.

"Okay. I'll there in about 5 minutes." I say.

"Great. We just pulled into the parking lot anyway when we saw Maria." She tells me.

"Great. On my way." I say, locking my dorm.

Eliza's P.O.V

Sitting on the bench while talking to Maria, I saw Alex get out of his car. Me, Angelica and Maria waved, meanwhile Peggy ran over to him and gave him a hug. I heard him laugh and say "Yes Peggy, I'm happy to see you to. Now can I breath please?" 

"Oop sorry." Peggy responded, breaking the hug. Alex doesn't seem like a half-bad guy. Although, I plan to ask him more about the incident that happened during the storm. Maybe I shouldn't.

Now truth be told, all 5 of us are extremely immature. Peggy grabs my hand , Alex's in the other , and pulls us towards the playground.Peggy may be 19 but she asks like a 5 year old. But I don't mind. She's my sister and I except her no matter what.

Angelica tells me that she'll entertain herself with Alex and Peggy and I can go back to Maria. I thank her and with my inner 6 year old showing through I pull Maria to the swings.Maria smiles and hops on. Peggy walks over and pulls out her phone.

"Lets see who can go the highest! Come on I wanna see!" She giggles. I'm not a competitive person but I figured why not so looking at Maria I jokingly said "Bring it on Maria." She laughed and we began going higher and higher. Truth be told, I let Maria win.

Peggy's P.O.V

Maria and Eliza had just finished up their whole swinging competition. I was sitting next to Angie on a bench and without thinking I annoyingly blurted "Jesus H. Christ! When are Eliza and Maria gonna get together!? I'm getting impatient." 

Angelica laughed. "Says the asexual."  I smiled. "Okay Angie, I may be an asexual but its clear as a summers day that Eliza and Maria like each other." I say, slightly annoyed. "I just want them to get together! Especially after what Maria went through with that James Reynolds guy. You and me both know Eliza would treat Maria like a freaking goddess."

"Well your not wrong. Eliza and Maria have been getting along extremely well for the past year." Angie responds. "See!? Besides, Eliza is pan and Maria is bi so like..when are they going to get married?" I sighed. "Slow down Pegs." Angelica smiled. 

"I'm sorry. They would just make such a cute couple." I say. "Can't argue with that." Angelica responds. "But seriously, I never thought I would see and asexual so wrapped up in relationships." 

"Just because i'm asexual Angie, doesn't mean I can't ship my friends and family." 

Alex's P.O.V

As we were walking to my car, I look at my phone. Great. I had checked the weather. A thunderstorm is apparently gonna happen over night. Fucking great. "Um...can one of you stay over at my place tonight?" I said as the 4 turned to me.

Angelica's excuse was she was gonna be with Jeffershit and Peggy and Maria had projects to do. Thankfully, Eliza was more then willing to stay over.

Two in the god damn morning. its thundering like crazy outside and this time i'm (thankfully)not in any sort of trance but just quietly crying to myself. John isn't here so I need some comforting god damn it. 

"E-Eliza." I manage to squeak out. "Eliza?" I say a little bit louder. Surprisingly, she came out of the guest room. I was sleeping on the couch. "Yes? Whats wrong Alex?" She said, sweetly. I was hyperventilating at this point.

"I..help." I honestly didn't know what to say. "Alright. Are you having a panic attack?" she asked.

"Ye-"  then some lightning illuminated the room, followed by thunder. "It's okay." Eliza said as she closed the curtains and turned the lights on. "Can you sit up?" She asked. I nodded and sat up, still trying to catch my breath.

"Whats the matter? You're only like this during storms." Eliza asked. Shit. I didn't want to tell anyone about the hurricane that had happened in Nevis. "Oh...childhood fear that just never went away." I lied.

"Oh. Me and my sisters all grew out of that by the ages of 7-9. But i'm sorry! That has nothing to do with you." She said. "Its okay." 

I let out a sigh and say "I'll try to power through this tonight. You can stay if you want." 

"Alright." Eliza said as she turned out the light and vanished into the guest room.

Tonight is gonna be a long ass night.

A/N : ooooof so ummm yeah another storm chapter. I know this one doesn't have very much lams in it but i'm all for marliza alright. (also, Eliza and Maria will eventually get together i'm just not sure when) 

by the way, I wanna leave this up to you guys : who do you think Jefferson should end up with in the end? Angelica or Madison?
