{Alex's POV}

Caspian laughed, "Her boyfriend."

I watched Rianna skate off down the hall. I rubbed the part of my head that had hit the floor.

"My head hurts..." I grumbled.

Caspian held out his hand, I grabbed it and was pulled to my feet.

"Want to get it checked out?" Caspian asked.

I shook my head. Last thing I wanted was to get a lot of attention from a headache.

Caspian nodded and then led me to our original destination; the cafeteria. The cafeteria itself was large; maybe a bit smaller than four classrooms put together (assuming those classrooms are moderately sized). The walls reached well over our heads, and tables were dispersed throughout the room. The ceiling was see through so the sun shone down and illuminated the room. Truly an exquisite school.

A straight, clear, path led straight to the food line.

Caspian and I strode down the aisle; at each table there was either all boys, all girls, or mixed genders. Some stared at us, (mostly me) as we walked by, but most were too busy eating to notice or care about our existence.

Caspian and I reached the food area. About four or five tables were spread out with different foods on display at each one. Paden grabbed a tray and passed it to me before picking up another for himself.

We walked passed each table grabbing what we wanted. Soon we sat at a table in the far right corner, right next to a window.

"There's another girl I've got to introduce you to. She's the go-to-gal for knowledge. She knows almost everything about everyone in the school." Caspian said after a few moments of silence between us.

I looked up at him with a nervous cocked eyebrow. If this girl knew everything then... I mentally slapped myself.

'Get it together Alex!' I innerly yelled at myself.

"Her name is Emily. I'm sure you'll see her around." Caspian continued.

I nodded and tried to hide my inner self-conflict. The bell rang and we stood up. We put our trays in a pile with other trays and then streamed out of the cafeteria with the other students.

"What do we have next?" I asked.

Caspian looked behind him at me.

"Gym."
