Story: Emma was born in Brooklyn to David and Margaret Barrow. She has a brother named Neal, who is 3 years older than her. At Ilvermorny, she met her only friend, Tina Goldstein, and the two girls were sorted into Thunderbird. When she was thirteen, Emma learned of the legends of soulmates. Being the hopeless romantic that she is, Emma immediately scribbled "Hello" on her left arm in the middle of class and waited for several minutes, but nothing happened. Then, after she got out class and back to the dormitories, she saw a message from Newt Scamander. They finally met close to Emma's 25th birthday during the events of the first "Fantastic Beasts" movie.
