Ivy

The roar of Trevor's powerful power bike still resounded in my ears as I highlighted from it. I didn't exactly know if I did it in slow motion, but I guess I did, cause right now, I'm taking off the helmet in slow motion, waving my hair from side to side with the most sexy pose ever. All eyes were on me as I raked my hands through my hair, in slow motion-

"What are you doing?"

I jumped a little at the sound of Trevor's voice. "What does it look like? I'm living in the moment."

Rolling his eyes, he got down from the bike. "You're weird."

I giggled. "Damn, everyone is watching." I said, grinning from ear to ear... Most girls fawned over Trevor, whispering to themselves. They were probably wondering what someone like him would be doing with some like me.

"Isn't that what you want?" Trevor asked with a smirk.

"Why are you smirking?" I asked.

"That's what bad boys do right? Smirk at everything that happens?" Trevor shrugged, amusement dancing in his eyes as he watched me.

"Yeah, that's what they do- but, you don't have to, you know- act like those bad boys from books and movies."

"Aren't we in a book right now?"

I scrunched my brows, watching him with utter confusion.

He chuckled, putting an arm on my shoulder as we moved into the hallway.

"I'm just messing with you." He said with a grin. "You look cute when you get confused."

My inside warmed up immediately. Why? Why do you have to love compliment so much Ivy! He is a robot, doing his thing! His job.

"Is that supposed to be a compliment or..."

"Take it how you want it." Trevor said.

This was new, the feeling of having a boyfriend, to have all eyes on you- more like on your boyfriend. People stared in awe of what was happening.

"This place sucks." Trevor voiced out. "Can't they like, mind their own business or something?"

"It's ICHS." I simply said. "People hate this place but we still have no choice but to come. It's just like you having to stay in prison and all you want to do is just go, but you can't cause you have to stay. You get it?"

"Honestly, I do." He replied, sounding a bit distant.

When we finally reached my locker, I asked the question that had been bugging me since he said he understood.

"How?" I asked.

"How what?"

"How do you understand? Does your Inc have some kind of highschool for robots?" I asked, opening my locker and shoving my bag inside, taking the textbook and notes I needed for the next class.

"No." He said, but I wasn't convinced. Not even one bit. There was something else mixed with all this. Maybe his Inc wasn't what I thought it was. Maybe it was something different- something beyond human expectation.

"So, how do you understand?"

"You really love asking questions, don't you?" He asked, raising a brow, his emerald green eyes searching mine.

I chuckled. "Yeah, you should see me in calculus. Ninety percent of the students hate me, including Mr.Magnus, our teacher."

"Ivy?"

My head turned to the direction of the voice to find Janie and Kyle coming to stand in front of Trevor and I. "Hi, Janie." I threw my arms around her in a hug, breaking the hug, I awkwardly waved to Kyle. "Hey Kyle."

"Hi." He smiled at me, his eyes moved to focus on Trevor.

Okay, introduction time.

"Guys, meet Trevor, my boyfriend... Trevor, meet my best friend Janie and her boyfriend Kyle."

"Sup." Trevor said, looking kind of pissed, probably hating the fact that he was being introduced. I noticed this same reaction when I introduced him to my parents.

Janie's eyes were wide open in shock. "He- he- is your boyfriend? When did you have a boyfriend?"

"You're almost sounding like you never expected her to ever have a boyfriend." Trevor spoke out.

Okay? I turned to give Trevor a look. All he did was look away.

What's your problem, Robot?

"He's in a bad mood this morning. It was sudden Janie, I'll explain everything to you later. How was Tahiti?"

"It was okay." She said, still looking from me to Trevor. "How was home?"

"You know, the usual."

An awkward silence passed between the four of us.

"So... Uh... I'm having a party at my place tonight, I'd love to have you and Trevor there... If he doesn't mind." Kyle said, breaking the tension.

"Sure."

"No"

Trevor and I spoke at the same time.

I turned to glare at him. "We're going." I gritted out, wondering the hell why he was trying to ruin everything for me.

"Okay then... See you at lunch." Kyle said, walking ahead of Janie who still looked confused.

"I'll explain, I promise."

"You better." She said, walking away too.

Sighing, I turned to Trevor. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I whisper yelled.

"You call the both of them friends?" He asked.

"Yeah, got a problem with that?"

"Yeah... You're obviously scared of them."

"What? I'm not scared of them, why would I be scared of them? What are you even saying?" I asked, crossing my arm over my chest.

Licking his lips, he stood upright. "You are, you want to impress them... Especially that Janie girl."

He was right, ever since Janie started dating Kyle, I noticed some changes... She sat with him during lunch, moved with his friends and some other popular group... She even joined the cheerleading squad. And ever since then, I'd been trying to do everything in my power to not make her get tired of me.

"You don't need to impress anyone Ivy-"

"So what? I didn't order you to give me friendship advice. And guess what? We're going to that party, this is like the first invitation ever. I'm not gonna sit this one out because you care about the way my friends behave with me." I muttered. "Now be a good robot and do your job by attending your first class."

I said, leaving his side.

Ethan

Watching Ivy walk away, I felt disappointed. Why? I really didn't appreciate the fact that she thought she had friends that really did care about her. And it was obvious that Kyle guy had something up his sleeves, if Ivy said she had never been invited to a party before, then why the hell did he invite her... Now that she's got a boyfriend.

His body language was enough prove of that fact.

Something about the way she tried to impress them didn't sit well with me.

I need to go to that party, but I promised Fiona I would be at the sector tonight. She needs me. Ivy needs me too.

Who the fuck will I go to?

Ivy

The cafeteria was a complete mess, rumors here and there. I got so many greetings from girls who I thought never knew my name, some even stopped to ask me if Trevor and I were really a thing.

It was nice to get the attention, but I'll tell you what wasn't nice. Trevor giving me the silent treatment.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked, looking straight at him. "Are you mad at me?"

"No." He said, toying with his smoothie.

"Do you even get mad? Being mad is an emotion... Since you're a Robot, you're not supposed to have emotions."

"I know."

"So, why aren't you saying anything?"

"Cause you're not asking anything." He simply said.

"You don't usually wait for me to ask you something before you have something to say."

"I'm just being a good robot." He replied, looking away, his eyes scanning the faces in the cafeteria.

He looked like he was mad. Our departure this morning didn't end so well. "I'm sorry about this morning. I was mad, you were just nosing around in my issue and I- I don't really like to be- to be told the truth... I'm happy with the way they treat me... At least I have friends. It's better than not having any friends."

He looked back at me, his hot gaze making me squirm. "I understand." He said.

"Oh come on Trevor... One word answers? Say more, be sarcastic. Insult me indirectly."

A smile fell on his lips. "You don't want to hear what I have to say. Trust me."

Sighing, I took a sip of my soda. "Fine. Keep it to yourself."

Silence followed.

"Quick question." I voiced out of nowhere.

"Shoot."

"Do you have a heart?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said.

"You do?"

"Yes. A robotic one."

I hissed. "I hate you."

He chuckled, bringing the smoothie straw to his lips, my eyes lingered as he sucked on the straw, his eyes leaving mine again.

"Another question."

He nodded, not paying attention.

"Do you have a Penis?"

He choked, trying to cough air into his lungs, if he has one. He dropped the smoothie on the table, eyes wide with surprise.

My cheeks went up in flames. "Sorry, um- I just- I was just curious... Are you okay?"

"Of course? I didn't expect you to be so blunt about it, or even ask that." He laughed.

"So... Do you?"

"Yeah... You wanna see it?" He raised a cocky brow.

"And There goes the cocky side. I was wondering why you weren't cocky?"

He smiled, biting his lower lips, I guess trying to hide the smile but it only revealed something that looked like dimples. It was dimples I swear, he smiles all the time, why didn't I notice it?

This is probably a genuine smile. It looked so good.

I felt a small tug in my stomach.

"What?" He asked.

I looked away. "Nothing."

"How bad do you want to go that party?" He asked out of nowhere.

My eyes met his. "Very. Very bad."

"Why?" He asked.

I sighed. "I've never been to a highschool party before, I've never even gotten invited to one."

"Why?" He asked, sounding genuinely interested in knowing.

"You're seriously asking me that? Don't you see me? I'm that girl who no one talks to, because I don't like trouble and I tend to stay away from trouble... I'm also that girl who no one wants to get to know, that girl who no one really notices." I sighed. "I don't have style like the other girls, and- I'm just Ivy."

He smiled. "Yeah, you're just Ivy, and I might not know you that well, and I might not be great at giving compliments and all, but I'm going to be honest. You might be normal, and not who everyone would want to talk to but- I've noticed that asides from being too curious, you are an amazing person. You're smart, beautiful, cute... The package. You don't necessarily need to get a boyfriend for people to see that... Merely looking at you, they know... Trust me."

The pace of my heart increased. No one has ever told me that... Is he... This wasn't part of the job description... Yes, he was supposed to love only me but- everything he just said sounds genuine.

He let out a breath. "Okay."

"Okay? Okay what?"

"Okay, I'll accompany you to the party... It's not like I have a choice."

I grinned, my mind still a little blank when I replied.

"No. No you don't."
