Ivy
There was no blood.
All I saw was this shiny chip like iron that covered the area opened for my view, there was also a green beeping light, coming from it.
"Wow." I said, unsure of what else to say, but I was quite sure of what I was feeling, or was I? I felt disappointed and relieved at the same time.
Maybe something in me wanted him to be real, but- he was actually telling the truth.
He was made out of iron.
His skin began to close up by itself again, healing the cut immediately and shielding the iron from my view
"You look disappointed." He stated, making me look up, my eyes met with his emerald green ones, knocking my breath from my whole breathing organ.
"I- Well- I'm not disappointed, I'm just," I sighed, stepping away from him. "Nevermind..."
I turned to walk away.
Of course, I was disappointed... Did I really think he'd be real? Even if he were to be real, why would he want to take up the job to be my boyfriend? I don't worth him... He was just too good looking for me. Not that I wasn't beautiful or anything, but I knew quite well that someone like him wouldn't ever want to be with someone like me. It's just how the world worked these days.
I felt a strong hand wrap around my wrist, turning me around with a slight movement of his arm. At that moment, I felt warm all over, his grip on my wrist shot this intoxicating warmth through my veins. My mind went blank for a moment.
"You are disappointed. Did you expect me to be real?" He asked, amusement dancing in his eyes, obviously unaware of what his touch was doing to me.
My heart hammered. Why the hell is my heart hammering? Trevor isn't real! He is a robot! Get it through your head Ivy! Nothing good can ever come out of this.
The warmth was adding to my confused state, making me panic.
I pushed him away from me.
He looked stunned for a moment before recollecting himself. "Why did you push me?"
It stopped. I felt normal again, my mind finding itself. His touch was, surprisingly intoxicating... A good kind of intoxication.
I blinked. "Sorry, I panicked. Let's avoid, body contact for now, Take things slow... Remember?" I chocked out.
He studied me for a short moment before nodding. "Okay, whatever you say."
"Great... Let's go get breakfast... Then I'll get you to the nearest store to shop for clothes-"
"It should be the other way around... Don't worry I can handle myself." He said.
"No. It's no big deal... You can get whatever you want, I'll just be in the book store, then when you're done we could just meet up."
He hesitated a little before nodding his head and extending his hand forward. "After you." He smiled.
"Sure, whatever."

Ethan
"This is the store? Why does it look abandoned?" I asked, looking around the deserted area.
Ivy had a wide grin on her face. That look had been imprinted on her face since she got down from my bike, and now it was beginning to creep me out. But I couldn't deny how cute it made her look.
Cute.
"Dude... That... Was... The most awesome ride ever! We were just going and flying past cars, Vroom vroom! It was awesome!" she exclaimed, her ponytail bouncing as she spoke.
The ponytail did look cute on her, but I prefered it down, just like this morning. I was surprised to see how beautiful she looked with her light brown hair framing her pretty face.
I had to collect my thoughts.
"Okay? Now that you've gotten that out... Can you please answer my question? This place looks deserted." I said.
"Oh no... We're out back that's why... Come on." She pulled me along with her.
Okay, I was wrong... It wasn't deserted, people were actually in the store, shopping for this and buying that.
"Why did you choose this store?"
She shot me a side smile. "Only bad boys hang out here, well, bad boys and their girlfriends... It's like a thing in ICHS and other schools nearby."
"What do you mean by bad boys?" I asked, my eyes landing on her wide excited eyes.
"Oh, like the typical you... Black jacket, ride bikes, born with sarcasm, have killer looks and a few piercings, you know..."
"Sounds... Cliche..."
"It is. I mean, who doesn't love a little cliche?" She shrugged. "I'll be over at the books arena, you can get whatever you want with this credit card." she gave me a credit card. "See you."
I watched her walk away.
With a frown, I decided to select some few clothes, not until I was yanked back.
I turned immediately, ready to attack, only to find Fiona, my bestfriend. I would recognize that red hair anywhere. She was like a sister to me. Although she wasn't a Rebel like me, she belonged to the Willing. Ever since we met, we hit it off.
"Fiona? What are you-" she pulled me for a tight hug, pulling back as quick as she hugged me.
"I don't have much time-"
"How did you get out? Were you assigned a job?" I asked her.
"No... I took a tunnel."
Wait what?
"There's a tunnel to the outside?"
"Yeah, in the willing sector, but most people don't know about it. I only found out today. Look, I don't have much time, I can't stay for long or they'll know I'm missing and then the tunnel would be known to the Inc officials."
"Okay, what's wrong? Why did you come out?"
"I think there's something going on with Caramel... Ever since that Inc official arrested her for pulling Derrick's hair, she's been acting really strange. I think- I think they did something to her, it's affecting her chip."
I furrowed my brows... Caramel was Fiona's room mate, they were like best friends.
"I don't understand... Her chip is malfunctioning? that's impossible."
"No it isn't... Remember that red haired guy from the purest? His sudden death? Remember he was acting strange before he finally died? Remember he was also arrested by the Inc officials? Caramel is having the same symptoms... She's getting more aggressive, angrier. What if, she's changing? What if her chips' turned red?"
Red beep... The red beep wasn't always a good sign. Although, we don't know what it meant. All we knew was that, it was rare, really rare to get red beeps from your chip. It was meant to be green.
"I think they're doing something to them... Maybe some kind of experiment? Caramel has been showing signs, I can't tell anyone. I'm scared they'd take her away too."
"But- what could the Inc possibly be doing with the prisoners? Are they trying to create another sector?"
"That's what people are saying... But it isn't working... It's killing the victims. I- I overheard a guard talking about the Inc trying to collect twenty people from each sector. I think they're up to something. You can find out, you can ask Glory-"
I shook my head. "Hell no... I don't want to have anything to do with Glory-"
"But it's Caramel Ethan? What if something happens to her?"
"Glory and I, didn't path on good terms, you know that better than anyone."
She nodded. "I do, I know she's bad news. But- we have to know what's happening."
I sighed. "What makes you think she'd tell me?"
She shot me a look that screamed 'really?' "Glory would never pass up an opportunity to get to speak to you. You know that. You have to come with me."
"Fi, I can't leave now... I'm on a mission-"
"Is it more important than Caramel's life? Look, we could be chasing something big here."
"I know." I said, raking my fingers through my hair. "Fine... I'll find a way..."
Fiona gave a sigh of relief, she wrapped her arms around me again, pulling away quickly. "Meet me at the willing base tonight... I'll be waiting."
"Sure... Be careful." I said as she rushed out.
Indeed, it could be something big, and at the same time, something dangerous.
I'm seriously not looking forward to talking to Glory... There has to be another way.
Sighing, I turned to the direction I had been selecting clothes earlier, freezing on the spot when I saw Ivy standing right behind me, her gaze asking questions I knew I wouldn't be able to evade.
