# 19-The Play of Memory
I was staring at her as she was smiling, laughing, playing and enjoying her life to the fullest while distributing sweets to children outside the temple.
Her eyes had so much Love, so many emotions, ... but none for me, afterall how could they have anything for me, I was just a stranger, just a nobody for her...it pained ...it pained to think how life changes within just a few moments...
" Prashad..." My trail of thoughts were cut as she had walked to me by now and was offering me the 'Ladoos'.
I smiled as I raised my hands to take the 'Ladoo'.
" Appne Darshan Nahi Kiye?" She questioned me as she was placing the sweet in my hand.
" Bas, Kuch Bair Hai Bhagwan Se, Kuch Manga hai...jis din denge uss din Zaroor Jaunga." I replied as I touched the 'Ladoo' to my forehead and ate it.
" Par Bhagwan Sharton Par toh Nahi Denge na Jo app chahte hain." She told me as a matter of factly as I smiled.
" Mein Shart nahi Rakh Raha, Bas...Chodiye, Aur waise bhi Mein unhe kuch Naya Nahi Manga, Unhone Jo Chena hai Bas Wahi Wapis chahta hun." I replied with the same smile or did my smile fade? I guess it did, it had to at the irony of the situation.
"Ok, Apki Marzi afterall apki zindagi hai, Waise Gauri." She smiled as she kept the sweets box on the bench behind and raised her right hand for a handshake.
" Omkara...Waise Kitna Ajeeb coincidence hai na, App Gauri aur mein Omkara, Jaise Shiv- Parvati...Perfect Jodi..." I added the last line purposely as I shook hands with her.
Her eyes lost their colour as she heard the words, She looked at me as if in a deep thinking as I laughed, " Ok, I am sorry...I was just joking." I tried to get my hand free as I said the words, she still kept looking at me, She hadn't heard me, neither realized my move.
Trying a bit too hard by moving my hand that was in her hold, I somehow brought her out of her land of thoughts as I raised my eyebrows," Kya Hua?" I questioned confused as she tried to smile.
" Nothing, I just felt like...like a feeling of familiarity, I am sorry, I don't know what I am saying, Leave it, I'll take a leave...bye." She said as she left my hand and turned to go.
" Coincidence Nahi hai...Tum Omkara Ho aur Mein Gauri, Perfect Jodi; Samjhe Mr." And an enchanting laughter followed: The memory played in my mind, actually in front of my eyes as I saw her going.
I was about to turn back myself, still staring at her as she turned back and waved her hand, " Phir Milenge..." She gave me a big smile as she walked away.
I smiled, That was all I could. How weird; Someone who said those words to me could today only wonder what connected her to those words.
Regardless, I knew she would someday indeed remember everything, her memory had played with her this time but for how long could it continue this play, Someday this game would have to end and Omkara Singh Oberoi will wait till then, however it will be, I would wait...no matter if the length of the game is a lifetime or beyond.
